Practice proper body positioning when riding BMX. It's important to keep your body centered

and balanced over the bike. It's gonna give you control and make it easier to perform tricks and navigate obstacles

Use your hips to absorb shock. Keep your weight forward. Use your brakes effectively

Work on your balance. What if it, let's see, how many? How do I do a, I genuinely haven't played with this stuff

so I don't know what it's gonna say, but I imagine this is crazy. This thing can do, it knows everything

It's like me, the BMXpert, but on steroids, you know? It's just like, this is just crazy

So I don't know what it's gonna give me about a bunny hop, but it's probably pretty sound advice

Shift your weight forward and bend your knees. It's gonna help you generate the power

for the last few days. You can write... Okay, last thing, but I just wanna share this with somebody

because I'm super, how do I write a web app about BMX bikes

Let's see what it gives me. Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you guys because I've been nerding out all week

All week. And maybe it can give you guys some BMX advice

I don't know, some life advice, whatever you got going on. That probably not going to be very helpful It write specific lines of code

Like, if I say, you know, write me a code on React.js for a web app about BMX bikes

it'll write the actual code. It's insane. So anyway, I'm nerding out about it for sure

big big nerd okay now the BMXer yeah so like Kirk said I have a BFD BSD revolution and it's

it's not a free coaster it's like a free coaster but it's it's not actually a free coaster

so anyway it's it's really handy and I love it I don't think I would actually ride a free coaster

because I just cannot get by. I just can't get used to the slack. I hate the slack. I'm not a

slack fan. It's not for me. So the revolution gives you the best of both worlds. You get the

free coaster effect with no slack. It's nice, but it does engage on you sometimes, which is not nice

but whatever. Whatever. We'll carry on. I see Chief in here. What's up, Chief

But now, Chief is impressed with the amount of content I've been pumping out. We got

bike school videos, we got bike school podcasts, we got BMX nerd videos daily for the most part

We got kink reviews, oh my god, and live streams. It's because of the 100 milligrams of neuro factor just getting me amped and making content

So what I want you guys to do right now, type in the chat what bike you think is going to be number one on the list

So this is seven bikes, seven of the best bikes with a free coaster

Kirk probably knows. Kirk is a big BMX nerd, but who else knows

What bike's going to be number one on the list, okay? Okay, that is the question for the day

So we're going to be talking about seven BMX bikes, the best seven BMX bikes that have a free toaster

A free coaster is cool because you can fakie, you can roll backwards without having to pedal backwards

And this kind of opens it up and gives you the opportunity to roll backwards smoothly and combine different things

Like when I started riding my planetary hub, it was a lot easier to do half cab bars

full cabs were a little bit harder half cab manuals were easier it opens up the door for a

lot of things and so if you have done your research on a free coaster and you're pretty

sure you want a free coaster with your bike check out these seven free coaster bmx bikes

it's important to note free coasters have slack and what slack is is if you pedal forward to start

rolling it it doesn't engage instantly so like a profile hub is going to engage right away and

the wheels gonna start spinning. A free coaster, I mean a profile hub, a cassette, whatever

it's gonna engage right away. A free coaster is gonna take a little bit of pedaling to engage

and then you're just gonna like, if you're not conscious about it and used to it

you're gonna hit your knee on the sim and that is no fun, okay? So anyway, let's get right into it

These are arranged by quality. The information, the way that I found these bikes and sorted them

was from the Dougster Bob app, which is on the App Store and the Google Play Store

So bike number seven, okay, seven, I think. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven

Seven. There's seven bikes. Bike number seven is, hold on, you guys aren't going to see the list

You guys aren't going to see the list. You can't see the list. Hold on

Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on

Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. No, no, no, no, no

All right, the list is gone. Okay, so anyway, this is bike number seven

is the Sebrosa Letum. The Sebrosa Letum's a really affordable bike and right now it's actually on sale from $630 down to $503

$3 making it honestly better than the kink whip better value than the kink whip better value than

the colt control I'd say this bike is great not only does it have a free coaster it has four pegs

it has hub guards it has a sprocket with a bash guard the color in my opinion is a little bit weird

but but some people love it some people can get past that this is a really solid bike and even for

the $630 that it normally costs, it's worth the price, you know. So anyway, quality wise

it's got full Kermali frame, forks and handlebars. It's got double wall rims. The bars are four

piece just to add to that unique street build that they've got going on with the pegs and the

hub guards and things like that. And the biggest problem with this bike is that it costs or that

it weighs like 29 pounds. That includes the pegs and the hub guards, but that's still a crazy

weight. And it's a crazy weight, but this is bike number seven on the list, okay? It comes with a

free toaster, specifically a Rant, what is it? Let me see, a Rant Moonwalker 2 sealed free coaster

So Rant's not the highest quality brand, but it is a pretty decent free coaster. And some people

have better luck with this free coaster than they do with the free coaster that comes on the Kink

Williams, which is not number two. But number two on the list is actually going to be the Fly Omega

So the Fly Omega in my app is listed at like $819 because that was the original price like a year ago or two years ago

Since then, Fly has figured out a way to get their prices down a ton for the United States people

It's crazy to me. So now this is a $619 bike. And in my opinion, it was worth the price, you know, close to $800

It was iffy, but it was worth the price. Now for $619, this bike is a no-brainer

and it has a free coaster. And another crazy thing, so you can select between a cassette or

a free coaster. You can select between right-hand drive or left-hand drive. And then you can even

select if it comes brakeless. How crazy. Now, they should knock off the price if you choose

brakeless, but they don't. Anyway, some things about it, aside from looking like just an incredibly

clean bike. Can you guys see how clean this thing looks? Just look at this. This is number six on

the list, okay? Look at this, man. Man, Fly has the best pictures. So we got a full Chromali frame

full Chromali forks, full Chromali bars. Obviously, everything's sealed. It's three-piece cranks. They're not 48 spline, despite they look like 48 spline. I think they're actually 16 spline

cranks or something like that, but they're still solid, okay? They're still very solid cranks

And the hub is the treble free coaster. It's a sealed free coaster. It's a good quality bike

It scores a Hmm Let me see what it scores Specifically it scores a 7 in quality and the Sobrosa Letum scored a 7 so they very close in quality and at full price the fly bike is a little bit cheaper than the Sabrosa Letum but at the sale price right now

the Sabrosa Letum is like just crazy cheap crazy cheap yeah so it's I've got to double check because

the way it looks, right, it looks like it's a 48 spline crank because there's no pinch bolt

And at first when I was reviewing them in like 2019, I was like, wow, this is crazy, 48 spline

cranks. And then somewhere they clarified that it's not 48 spline. It's like, but it's not 8 spline

either. I'm pretty sure it's 16. It's something weird. I'll have to double check on that, Kirk

but yeah. So anyway, that is bike number six. Bike number five is we're going back to kink

with the Kink Cloud. The Kink Cloud's a weird one. I just posted a review video about it and I don't

recommend it all the time because I think it's only got a 7.4 quality score and it's got an $800

price tag. And so, you know, the quality score is like three points higher than the Sparosa Let'em

but the price tag is $200 more, $300 more if you're counting the Let'em's discounted price

So anyway, it's not a terrible bike. It's a high quality bike. It's got aftermarket handlebars

It's got the Kinkrex bars. It's got full Kermali frame, full Kermali forks. It's a solid bike

The only thing that's really aftermarket on it that matters is the handlebars, but it does have

a free coaster and it's pretty good quality. I just think, I want to say the, let's see

the switch was 600 in uh last year no 550 anyway anyway the price has gone up like i talked about

this a ton is how kinks bikes have gone up in price and the cloud went up quite a bit and because

of that price increase i just don't recommend it as much as i did before okay it's got four pegs

It doesn't have any hub guards and it weighs 27.1 pounds. But the free toaster is the Mission Dispatch Sealed Free Coaster

This is a fairly good free coaster, but it's not, like I said, you know, just like the

Ramp Free Coaster, it's not the highest quality free coaster, like the free coaster that comes

on bike number four, the Kink Williams. So the free coaster on the Kink Williams is a cinema free coaster

I think it's the ZX. You have the ZX2, which is a lot better than the Mission quality free coaster

Now again, the Williams, though, is going to be very similar to the Kink Cloud in terms of me

recommending it. I think $1,000 for this bike is just a little bit overpriced. It went up from $899

to $999 this year. And in my opinion, that's just a little bit high for what you're getting

You're getting aftermarket bars again, you're getting aftermarket forks, the frame's not aftermarket, then it adds a lot of aftermarket cinema parts like the ZX Freecoaster and things like that

For a thousand bucks, it's okay, but you could spend just a little bit more and get some crazy bikes like the ones we're going to talk about later

All right. It's also very heavy with those pegs and those hub guards. But again, it has a cinema

free coaster. This is a solid free coaster bike. Just a high price tag. But the price is only going

to go up from here. Because, oh, wait, wait, wait. Somebody asked about the Williams for $640. Yeah

bro. If you got it for $640, that's a solid deal. For $1,000, I'm like, nah, stay away from it

For a 640, assuming it's still in relatively new condition, like not all beat up, like you didn't

leave it in the rainstorm, that's a good deal. You're getting a really good quality bike for

good price for sure. Okay. So now bike number three is going to be a We the People bike. We

haven't seen a We the People bike on the list. And I could have included the We the People Trust

on the list, but I included the Letham instead because the Letham was so much cheaper than the

Trust. The Trust is a good free coaster bike, but it's not on the list, all right? The We the People

Battleship is the bike on the list, and I always, always trip out because of the color. I think this

color looks sick. I'm always impressed with how good the blue and red looks with the chrome

I don't know why. It just, I like that mismatch. I like that contrast that it gives

and it's a beautiful looking bike. Now it's expensive, it costs $1,209

but again, I think it's worth every penny. This bike is essentially fully custom

If you went in, you could buy the We The People Battleship frame, you could buy the Battleship forks

you could buy the Klaas Strangler bars, you can buy the We The People Logic 48 spline cranks

you can buy all of this stuff aftermarket and build it up And if you did so, it would probably cost you like $1,500

So buying this bike as a complete is saving you a ton of money

All right. Comes with a free coaster. Comes with four pegs. It comes with hub guards

It's a... Oh, wait, two pegs. Hold on, hold on, hold on

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, two pegs. Okay. Two pegs, not four pegs. But it's a very solid bike, especially as a free coaster bike

You can't go wrong with this bike. The one thing to note is it's only available in a 20.75 inch top tube, which makes it best for

riders who are between like five foot, nine and six foot. It excludes a lot of smaller riders. If

I was a small rider, I'd look at this and I'd be like, this bike is sick. It's probably the wrong

size for you. Okay. So don't get too hyped up, but this is a very good bike. Not even close

to bike number two on the list, which is the Sunday Soundwave Special

And, hey, this is very interesting. Normally, the bikes say, manufacture does not allow coupons

So that's why on these other bikes, we have not seen this coupon pop up

because manufacture does not allow coupons. But right now, today only, you could save 15% on the Sunday Soundwave if you use Dan's 15% off

Hold up. Hold up. Let's check this out. Was that the code? Dan's 15 off

Oh my god, that takes off $200 off the bike. You could get the Sunday Soundwave brand new from Dan's Comp for $1,100

if you use that coupon. So they said that coupon, oh, it expires Sunday. So you guys got all weekend

to use that coupon, but that's what I was going to talk about next. Anyway, anyway, I got distracted

So the Soundwave, the reason that it's number two on the list, it's interchangeable with number one

for sure, but it scores a 10 in quality. The We the People Battleship only scores a 9.8

The Soundwave, the reason that the Soundwave scores a 10 is because of the Soundwave aftermarket

frame This frame has a lifetime warranty The aftermarket forks have a lifetime warranty The aftermarket bars have a lifetime warranty So when you see 41 Thermal that their lifetime warranty Oh maybe the

forks don't have the warranty. But anyway, that's their warranty. And then the Thunderbolt cranks

also have a lifetime warranty. So compared to the Envy, which has a lifetime guarantee on the frame

in the forks the uh the sound wave has that on the frame forks bars and cranks since uh the 2023

version is only available in the free coaster and uh the free coaster version comes with the

thunderbolt cranks instead of the caliber cranks and the thunderbolt cranks have a warranty okay

is that uh is that is that making any sense to you anyway this this bike is crazy best quality

fully aftermarket. Everything on there is built to last. It's got the Hazard Light rims

which are like $80 rims alone. It's got the Clutch V2 free coaster. It's got the Vandero

Pro front hub. It's got the Thunderbolt cranks, which are like close to $200. This is just insane

to me, the amount of quality they put together on this bike and then said, here you go, guys

Here's this bike for only $1,300, only $1,100 if you use that coupon code

So this is the right hand drive option but they also have a left hand drive option so you can choose between the two and it's light. This bike is crazy light. 23.4 pounds. Now that weight is only without brakes. So if you do have brakes on it and pegs on it, it's going to weigh a little bit more

but honestly for a complete bike you can't find a complete bike that weighs that light

You really can't. All right but number one on the list is my personal favorite. It's the Darkwave

Authentic and again you can use a coupon on the Darkwave Authentic. I don't like the color this

year. I like the color last year a lot more than this year. I don't think this color just doesn't

stand out very good but some things that are different about it is one it doesn't have the

lifetime warranty. The forks are 41 thermal so the forks on both of them have a lifetime warranty

but the frame on the Darkwave does not have a lifetime warranty and I gotta double check the

cranks. The cranks do. Okay the cranks do, the bars do, and the forks do but not the frame on the

Darkwave. So in terms of lifetime warranty the Soundwave is a little bit better. The Darkwave

still scores a 10 in quality and it's built for a bigger rider. The top tube is a quarter of an

inch taller than the Soundwave. It's got 28.9 gear ratio versus 25.9 gear ratio. It's got four pegs

four hub guards, and a sprocket with a bash guard, a really nice sprocket with a bash guard

And it also comes with the Clutch V2 free coaster. This bike is a little bit heavier than the Soundwave

but we don't have the weight listed here. If I remember off the top of my head, it's like 24.9

or something. It's right around 25. And anyway, again, crazy bike. It'd probably be close to 1600

bucks if you built it separately, if you bought all these parts separately, but it only costs $1,300

Absolutely insane. So anyway, those are the top seven BMX bikes that have a free coaster

would tell you different times that they were doing the codes. And now it kind of just pops up

show you all the coupons that are going on. But anyway, I would wait until my dance comp calendar

had a 20% off coupon and then I'd order a bunch of stuff. I'd just hold up for 20% because that's

a really rare one. 15% is pretty rare. 10% is really common. But 20% crazy. 15% pretty good

I'm really tired, but but the BMXer says, what grips do you use or would you recommend

So my favorite grips of all time are the S&M Hodor grips

I don't know. I've tried a ton of different grips. I used to be a huge ODI fan

I would ride ODI grips all the time. Then they had the super long versions

Then they had the super soft versions. And honestly, they're just not that good, man

Like, I hate to say it. I don't think ODI grips are that good. So I moved away from ODI grips

I would ride Odyssey Brock bars. I like those, they're pretty soft

but they would tear up very quickly. So then I moved on to some Ethic scooter grips. They're huge. They're massive, thick

Okay, wait. Restart, restart. Restart. Then I moved on to the Ethic scooter grips, and they're quite a bit thicker than traditional BMX

grips. Scooter riders, I don't know, man, for whatever reason. But they were comfortable

they didn't last all that long and then then the most recent thing the grips I've been riding for

the uh the grips I've been riding for the longest are the hoder grips and I think somebody gave me

a pair and I was like whoa these are good they're soft they're comfortable and they last like they're

really good grips so S&M hoder grips are the way to go and uh Chris Chris um the S&M the S&M

owner put a picture of all kinds of different colors in the hoder grips like they had white

they had neon green and i was like bro i will take a lifetime supply of grips instead of a

lifetime supply of seats because they're uh they're good so hoder grips guys check out the

hoder grips uh has anyone ridden hoder grips does anybody know anybody know what i'm talking about

Kirk says once you use planetary tech I don't think many would go back to a traditional free

coaster I never will me either dude I never will um I have a friend who bought the planetary when

it first came out he hated it and went back to a traditional free coaster I think he went to the

the we the people hybrid but for me for the kind of street riding I do I'm not too worried about

it engaging like I'm not sending huge 180s and things like that that's one of the biggest issues

people have with the planetary is it engaging on you and again that sucks if you jump if you're

180 down a 10 set but if you're just doing 180s down curbs it still doesn't it's probably engaged

on me maybe one time um recently but but it's not very common it's not common at all and so it's

it's uh to me it's the best thing in the world so if you guys are looking to upgrade your bike to a

free coaster really really check out a planetary the alienation venus the bsd revolution the free

night, the Colony Swarm. Those are the four planetaries that are out right now. Did Colt

come out with a planetary? I want to say Colt came out with one too. I don't know. But they're

all pretty much the same. So whatever. But there's some weirdos out there who don't like the

planetary and they're just weird. That's all you can say. You know, that's all you can say

Yo Rob came in here what's up Rob how you doing man? Walter I'm doing very well thank you over

my strep throat and feeling pretty good I was starting to ride a little bit more I didn't ride

all that so like I rolled my ankle didn't ride for a week or two started riding again for about

a week got sick and then didn't ride for a week and so now I'm starting to ride a little bit and

it feels good Hey, since I'm into mountain bike riding, I get amazed how you guys have top line BMXs

for a price of a starter mountain bike. Yeah, dude, I don't understand the mountain bike people

because literally a cheap, cheap, cheap mountain bike is like a grand, over a grand

And then people are spending upwards of five grand on a mountain bike

And for five grand, you could buy a really good BMX bike

and an airbag. You could buy both of those for like five grand and be chilling

For a mountain bike, you can buy a decent mountain bike for five grand. I just don't understand it

I do not understand it. Maybe that's why like BMXers are just a different type of person

I don't know. I don't understand. I got skipped to the bottom

Okay, so here is a... Hicks says, do BMX hub guards work for every bike

or are they like brand slash model related? For the most part, they are based off of the brand

So there's different, let me see how I can explain this. They make universal hub guards and then they

make specific hub guards. And most universal hub guards will work universally, but you won't get

the same fitment and precision that you would get with the hub guards that are designed for

So for example, the BSD Revolution comes with hub guards and these hub guards just snap on

They snap on, they're so easy, you don't have to stress about it, they just snap on

You can get a drive-side hub guard, you can get a non-drive-side hub guard, and they just snap in place and you're good to go. It's very nice

If I were to get a universal hub guard, I'd have to like screw it in and then adjust it

so that it fits where it goes and it's a little bit more of a headache and it's not as clean and

it doesn't work as good. Sometimes there's gaps in universal hub guards so you're still damaging

your spokes or your axle or whatever. And so for the most part you can get universal hub guards

and you'll be okay but if you can, if your hubs have hub guards that are designed for them

that's definitely the best way to go. The BSD Street hubs had, they have normal like

what would you call those? Dust covers, I guess, for the bearings that slide over

and they look like a normal hub. But if you get the hub guard, you pull off that dust cover and

then the hub guard slides in right there And it just a really clean fit It nice Where a universal hub guard for the front for example you have to like you know attach it to the spokes with a zip tie or things like that It a little bit more of a headache

with me wouldn't get any value out of it like for me it would give me a lot of exposure to the

channel because he's like level 1000 YouTuber. I'm like level 20. So I don't think it'll ever

happen until I get up there. But then at that point, when I'm on his level, why would I waste

my time playing Game of Bike with him if I'm not getting anything from it? Right now, I'd be like

yeah, let's go. I'd be on the channel. It'd be good exposure. That's cool. But for him, it's like

why? Why would I play Game of Bike with this kid? I don't know. I did think if I ever run into a

large sum of money and can just like get up and go on a trip. I think it would be so fun guys

So the idea was to have a 35th anniversary party out in Colorado on the trails that we

built recently. since we were bringing out some of the dudes, do some day trips, hit some parks in southwestern Colorado

and northern New Mexico. And the guys we brought out, Clint, Hoder, Cole Volker

Ariye, Def Paul. So once we had all the guys together, we checked the weather, and it was going to be terrible around Pagosa

It was terrible everywhere. Within a two-hour drive, but there was a tiny little piece of the map

that didn't have rain on it, and that happened to be Santa Fe, New Mexico. So we got up early

Mueller's like, we're out. We gotta go. 9.15, load up in the Winnie

In the Winnie, we load up the bikes in the truck. Hit the road, drove about three hours or so, and it was 80 degrees and sunny

The first skate park we went to in Santa Fe was pretty old, funky, beat up

It was sketchy. Graffiti, slippery, bumpy, ghetto-y, tweakery. The park was pretty grimy

That park's fun. They trip in. That's a fun park. ever built kind of thing

Just wanted to watch everybody just like attack that park. The Hodor just, yeah, he just starts pedaling full speed around the park

He has no idea where he's going. He starts hitting stuff, just figuring out lines as he goes

hanging on by a thread, killing it. It's really entertaining. He was just cutting laps, getting the boys hyped

Yeah! With the snake bite? He just so big and has such a presence He just is a hype man You can really not get stoked and like want to ride I love it dude

Yeah, first time meeting the youngsters, R.E.A. and Cole. Super sweet. Son of the Lord

He's a beast. R.E.A. He's super dialed. Drove out here. 24 hour drive straight

Straight to like tail whipping a big gap. He drove for 24 hours

Just to ride with the homies? It was awesome to get Def Paul on this trip

He decided to come last minute. I'd say it was 100% worth it. He was killing everything he touched today

Crazy toothpicks, 540 disaster, all sorts of maneuvers on the spine. all around, good dude, good riding all day

Oh man, I was trying this little 180, pancake the ground pretty hard

That's such a dumb crash. I'm not sure I've ever seen Clint fall. It's the helmet

Not far for the course for Reynolds at all. But he was laughing as he was going down

but he did get scraped up. It did not sound very good or looked like it felt good at all

So this transition is terrible too. That's an important thing to note. This is not good transition, but it's crazy how good they make it look, you know? Like the way that they're riding this thing looks like it's perfect transition. It's not. It's not at all. But to them, I guess they're chilling. They're having a good time

So Cole's flying around the park, finding all kinds of smooth lines, throwing tech tricks into

And then at some point, you can tell he's kind of eyeing up a big fence

And he decided he was going to air out of the fence into some big hillside

Yeah, Cole just boosted out of the bowl and jumped right over the fence, like three feet over the fence

Cole ejects, lands on the ground. The bike bounces up, and I think the axle hit him in the nose

Like slay of his nose, and blood was pouring out. You know, he's bleeding

We're trying to, you know, figure out how bad the injury is. At that point, we called it and moved to the other side of town to the next park

The son of the Lord, and he's riding around with, like, tampons jammed in his nose

So he was, like, unstoppable. It was a much newer park. Really smooth transitions

not as kinked and weird and funky as the first place but super fun. Once we

started riding it really started flowing and like there's a small park that flowed

real well. Hodor doing full laps around the park, monster trucking over parking blocks

dodging skateboarders. I'll be on top

Kohl's blasting the shit out of the hips, but then mind melting, tech maneuvers

This all turns into a big blur for me, but it's a pretty badass blur

You've got to be kidding me. This guy can ride too, just like his pops

And we're like, you got that manual, dude. He tried a little bit, and then, like, everybody's giving him pointers

He was like, we're staying until we pull this manual. I mean, I don't care how many tried

Yeah, he's like, it's going down right now. and then he stomps it

Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah! It was pretty sweet. You could see it was like genuinely stoked

Probably did take 50 tries, but you know, if he pulled it, you can't teach no doggy tricks, so

Shit done. Dev Ball, he's a good friend of mine. Kind of got on S&M when I got on, and he was like

I'm getting on the trip, coming out. And I was like, oh, shit, all right. So he turned it up

He's like, I'm not coming out there to play around. I'm coming out there to get some clips

You don't really see Paul ride very often, and he was just destroying it

He's cutting some high-speed laps until he smashes into REA and breaks his phone

Oh, no. I don't know why you guys aren't just on these flip phones that really just work forever

You know what I'm saying? In addition to smashing his phone, Paul breaks about 10 spokes

So we took a little detour over to Rob and Charlie's bike shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Shout out to Rob and Charlie's, and got some new spokes. we get the hot tip to head over to the mountain bike jumps

Bike park. The jumps. like they hadn't been ridden in 10 years probably we looked down at tires and there's like a hundred

goat heads in all of our tires you could just hear them clint cole and mad dog they decided to

try to ride the trails through the goat heads a couple of us stayed and rode this crazy wall ride

while our tires were like deflating it's pretty fun so by the time the sun went down in santa fe

We were back on the road north to Pagosa Springs. We were deflated, but not defeated

15 flat tires with like 100 thorns in each one of them

The dudes are picking them out now. They've been picking them out for hours now, so we'll see

Needless to say, we're going to need a lot of tubes and a lot of tires

Damn, that's crazy. That's funny, though. Second day of the trip. We rode the Pagosa Springs Park

We had kind of a rainy day, but it dried out and had a pretty fun session

There was a wild bull with some pretty gnarly coping in it

Definitely a little bit slippery. Caught a couple people off guard, but didn't seem to stop anyone

These guys were ripping it, but it's not easy, that's for sure

We're good. We're getting it. Oh, that was clicked

They add character to a park. We have two floating around at our park and somebody will move it to a different spot

Every week it seems to be in a different spot and then you just figure out what to do at

that spot with it. and it's very, very, adds character, man. It adds character

Clint hitting seven pocket airs out of the door I enjoyed watching that That was amazing The guys did a bunch of stuff that I been eyeing up forever waiting for somebody to come do

Muller's always calling out lines for everybody. Sometimes they don't really make sense

I've been looking at this for a while, jump over here, I'll ride that. Cole just pretty much does it on the first try

It was really cool to see guys actually do the stuff that I'm always thinking about

RIDE! What a look back. Cole hit a crazy gap into the bull off this pretty mellow bank

The bull was pretty steep, slippery, slightly wet, blind. Definitely a creepy one

That was pretty early to watch. That run-in sucks. That takeoff sucks

And he landed it very smooth. Yeah, I mean, having Mola out, you don't get to have this guy out very often riding with everyone

and riding with everyone. It's just a treat, you know? The guy invented, you know, the bar spin

He's done so much shit in his days. And just to be able to get to ride with him

it's super cool and super nice of him to let us just come over here and just destroy his house and take it over

And thank you, Chris. And I'm stoked you're out kicking him with us. Heading out to the bar later that night

waiting for the building guys to show up. And then we've got the whole crew together

And then we ended up going to Moeller's mini ramp in the barn

Everyone was partying, having fun. Chris was tearing it up on a skateboard

Moeller just crashing a lot on the skateboard. I was riding the 16-inch bike and Moeller said

looks like I order how he rides regular. Some of the most insane tricks I've seen on a little 12-inch or 8-inch or 3-inch bike, whatever the thing was

Watching Clint do the power mower on the extension at 4 in the morning on my dot 16-inch bike

That was a pretty wild night. Dougie decided to get on a ski bike and try to drop into the mini-ramp on a ski bike

That's not really going to work anyways, especially on a bike from 1920 with skis on it

So the second someone gave him a little push into the mini-ramp, dude, that ski snapped in half

You went flying. Dougie broke the vintage ski bike. Dougie broke it

You seemed to break everything else. Glass was everywhere. Turned into just a complete shit show

Like, typical night, you know, with the S&M boys. Something's always going to happen

Now, it's a pretty wild night. Neighbors aren't going to be forgetting that one. He didn't come soon

Those jumps are sick. So Friday morning, I tore myself out of bed with about three hours of sleep and head down to the trails

Adam Baker of S&M Lore was basically the manager down there at the trails

He had all kinds of guys working on every line, trying to clean it up from about a month of rain

Nasty was down there. Jason Sunday was down there. Everybody was just kicking ass on the spot

We set up camp. We had a couple of huge teepee tents for the dudes

Some people drove in from Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, California. Pretty good camping crew for Friday night And we got a nice little Friday evening session This is sick This is what it about you know It was really fun All the stuff that Baker and his boys did throughout the day Thursday and Friday

The place was ten times better than it was earlier in the week. All the guys that came out this weekend and just like, you know

threw a hand in to get these jumps running, thank you. Appreciate it all

At least that 16 inch from last night. So after the Friday night session, had a fire and went to bed

We are here in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. S&M 35 year anniversary. Couldn't be a nicer spot to have a jam and some trails

It's like a little magical oasis out here. The mountains, you got the pond, the river flowing

The trails up against the hill, you know, you're in the great wilderness out here

It's pretty epic. You could go kayaking, paddleboarding, do whatever you wanted

ride dirt bikes, four-wheelers, whatever the hell you're feeling. There's grown men acting like children in the pond floating down the river

Kids running amok. Everyone's camping, having a great time, barbecuing food. You know, to me, this is what BMX is

I came in. We still had more work to do on the trails

to try and dry it up a little bit and fix some of the stuff. By the time 130 rolled around, and I

noticed that everybody was on their bikes and ready to go, and we opened it up, and it was on

There is, I don't know how many dozens of riders, just everyone having a blast on the jumps

Great vibe. Everyone's stoked. A lot of great riding. Seriously, the Colorado crew, we got killed here out there

I need you alone. I just hurt my back and you're gone

Clint's my favorite trail rider to watch ride because he doesn't make a sound when he lands

Everything's so perfect and smooth, and the way he rides just makes BMX look so fun

Smooth as butter at just East Coast Stee's. We never really tried to publicize this event that much I put a few things on my personal Instagram

so you had to kind of be in the loop to even know that this was going on

The people that did show up were close friends and family. We had a lot of little kids riding the punk track that we built

It was a real grassroots kind of a vibe. That's exactly what I wanted

sweet to watch everybody ride because it was just all different levels like just

a little kid all right all right and then like okay I'm gonna get ready to go

I go to get a treat for it and they're all gone and I thought I was crazy because she was sitting in the exact same spot

That she was when I left and then I'm like hmm, and then I saw a little wet nose prints on the desk

So I know she jumped down when I left she came she ate the treats and then jumped back on there to sit there

When I came in so that I wouldn't notice and I was like yo, you're a bad dog
