A year ago I bought the rarest slab Ive ever touched: a 2,200+ year old sinker bald cypress pulled from deep underground and I paid $6,000 for it. Then I did the unthinkable. I flood-coated it in epoxy, got creative with the base, listed it for $12,000, and a year later zero offers. Worse, the comments werent wrong. The table looked plastic, the surface was a nightmare, and my Roman column era was a disaster.. So this is the redemption build. In this video I tear the old table apart, fight the cursed root-ball grain, and rebuild the whole thing under three rules: No epoxy No 3D printing Two weeks to finish (because Im being forced to move shops again) And at the end, my new landlord Mike gets to judge the final result no sugarcoating. Did I redeem a once-in-a-lifetime slab or did I ruin history twice? Also this turns into what I now call The Glass Saga.
