Isn’t it strange that when we wake up in the middle of the night, often our thoughts go immediately to our problems and the things that are stressing us out?
It is fascinating, that we don’t tend to think about all of the good things that we have going on in our life. So much of the information that we input into our minds is negative. Whether we blame the media, the press, or whoever, it just seems that most of the messages are negative.
We do have a choice to be negative or positive. Even though we are impacted by outside influences, it is still your decision as to what kind of mindset you want to have. Just like taking a left or right on the road, it’s your decision.
So the next time you wake up at night, and start thinking about all of your worries, instead try thinking about everything that you are grateful for….. Just like writing in a gratitude journal, it really helps to get you focused on everything that you have in your life. It is a mindset of abundance.
Now, The Gratitude Tip of the Day… Try keeping your Gratitude Journal by your bed and take a look at it when you wake up in the middle of the night, it might change your thoughts…..
