Hi, it's the Berk of that Gratitude guy
0:05
Today I'm with my very close friend, Mark Davis, and I've asked Mark to tell me a little
0:09
bit about what he's grateful for in his life because we get so many great different perspectives
0:13
So, Mark, what are you grateful for? Well, thank you, David, for inviting me, first of all, to be with you today
0:21
And thank you for giving me a little preview about the fact that we're going to do this, so I was able to think about what I'm grateful for
0:28
So many things I'm grateful for, but what stands out for me is really my dad, as far
0:34
as what he did for me as a coach in tennis and getting me into rotary and allowing me
0:42
to get into the University of Washington Business School, which I didn't have the grades to
0:46
get in. But most importantly, always being there, always in touch, knowing my friends, advising
0:55
me on who to marry, which I probably wouldn't have made the right decision had I not had
1:00
his advice. And I really miss him. Wow. Fantastic. Fantastic. Well, there's another perfect example of Mark's dad, how grateful he is for his father and
1:13
certainly his mother in advising him on who to marry and being a supportive type parent
1:18
as well as a mentor and so forth. So another good example of the many things that we can be grateful for, which is why
1:23
I like so many different perspectives like Mark. So that's the message for today
1:27
Be right in that gratitude journal. We'll have another special guest in a few days
