1. **Ingredients:**
- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup of shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cup of diced onion
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg to taste
2. **Instructions:**
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Prick the bottom with a fork.
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, sauté the onion until soft.
- Sprinkle the bacon, onion, and cheese evenly over the pie crust.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the bacon and cheese in the pie crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
