1. **Ingredients:**
- 500g of button mushrooms, cleaned and halved
- 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice
2. **Instructions:**
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the mushrooms and thyme, and cook until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, add a squeeze of lemon juice to brighten the flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
