Mr. Taster, my guide Ali, and I headed to Master Cut in Tehran so I could get a full shave. The barber shop was really luxurious. First, the barber quickly patted my ears with a flaming tool to burn all the hairs off my ears! It smelled like burned hair! Then, he added shaving cream to the top of my head. He used the blade nice and slow. He was nice and thorough. I loved the feeling of the metal blade against my scalp. After he finished, he added more shaving cream and used the blade to give me a closer shave! Then, he applied alcohol to the my scalp! Then, I asked for a full shave. He took clippers to get my beard, mustache, sideburns, and neck. He followed that by applying hot wax to my ears and nostrils. Those hairs grow faster as you get older!
