My day in Moraikobai village in Guyana’s rainforest was an unforgettable journey through culture, food, and nature! I started with a traditional breakfast of bake & saltfish, tapioca porridge, and herbal teas. After a peaceful jungle hike, we cooked an incredible Indigenous lunch of cook-up rice with coconut milk, wiri wiri peppers, and fried trout, served on plantain leaves.
