Come with me as I explore even more of the flavors and cultures of The Spice Island, Grenada. The chicken feet souse was full of flavor and gelatinous texture, while the curry goat was tender, heart, and a little sweet. I also had some refreshing carambola (star fruit) juice and some passionfruit juice! RIVER ANTOINE DISTILLERY: Here, I took a tour of the facility to see the entire process of making Grenadian rum, from crushing the sugarcane, to boiling the juice, to distilling it. I tried their strongest rum, which is 75% alcohol and can’t be taken off the island. It’s the strongest drink I’ve ever tried in my life! OLD AIRPORT OF GRENADA: Here, I got to see a bunch of dilapidated war planes that locals destroyed following a revolution in 1983!
