Woodturning the coolest COFFEE travel mug

In my latest woodturning video, I've taken some Australian mallee burl pieces and transformed them into a gorgeous hybrid coffee mug using vibrant red mica powder pigments mixed with epoxy resin. We shaped the mug on my trusty woodturning lathe, carefully sanding it up to a smooth 400 grit finish. To make it practical for everyday use, I added a stainless steel coffee mug insert, secured with flexible epoxy resin. A coat of hardware oil not only protects the piece but also makes those colors really pop!
