4:24
It's at the time The very first beginning podcast Of this new journey
4:35
Then Crazy Fitness guys started Today I'm going to talk about What I'm doing to
4:44
Keep myself sane during this pandemic I hope you enjoy So Lately I've been
4:54
wondering what people have been doing to keep themselves sane in this whole
5:00
messed up situation that we're in as a as just around this whole pandemic around the world
5:12
It's scary and sometimes there's some days I'm bored. Some days I don't feel like
5:24
I can get stuff done. And those other days, I feel like I'm on top of the world
5:30
So I think sometimes, sometimes I don't know what I'm going to do
5:45
Sometimes I'm worried that I'm going to be bored throughout the whole day, what I'm going to do
5:54
And I thought it was going to be hard for me to stay on the schedule, but I don't think it really has been that hard
6:07
But I'm going to go over some tips of what I'm going to be, what I found how I'm staying sane
6:17
I've been making sure I've been making sure I've been reading books
6:24
That's number one. Number two, I've been making sure I stay away from watching the news
6:36
As I've found lately, the news just likes to keep telling about the statistics
6:44
and getting people worried that there's going to be no summer. and I think that I keep reminding people it's only April
6:57
yeah the warm weather is here and whatnot but it's not summertime yet
7:03
it's official summer. Official summer is like forgive me if I'm wrong but I think it's like June 22nd
7:14
so you can start freaking out I'll give you permission to start freaking out
7:20
about if we're going to have a summer around June 22nd. Until then, stop freaking out
7:29
It's, you still have the rest of April, you still have May, and still have part of June
7:36
So there's no time to stop freaking out. We might get a summer out of this all after all Hey I looking forward to a summer is I need to work for Uber and Lyft to get some more money for it Keep supporting my website
7:54
Got to do what you're going to do. But, yeah, guys, I stop watching the news because they just hype on numbers and point fingers at each other
8:09
It's all old. So that's number two. Stay away from news. Here's what I do
8:17
When somebody in my house turns on the news, I walk upstairs
8:21
I go in my bedroom, read a book, talk to a friend on the phone
8:27
Oh, I even admit, I have a newsfeed reader on my app called Flipboard
8:33
No, this is not an advertisement for them, but, but, like, even if I saw a site
8:41
title of something coronavirus related I just read the title sometimes but that's okay
8:50
but I'm not going to read the whole article because yeah I'm not going to get depressed on
8:58
the news just not being so that's two number three I've been
9:07
trying to just stay productive getting my to-do list done every single day
9:16
There might be one or two things on my maybe like one
9:20
thing I might forget to do during the day. But there are so many ads these days
9:31
wherever you go. There are ads in movie theaters, on TV, on radio, and on billboards
9:37
So why would you want to listen to ads in a podcast? Subscribe to the Crazy Fitness Guy Premium Podcast to get these exclusive benefits

10:08
Now let's get back to the show. show. I've been trying to stick to my schedule again up at 6.30 and working out in the morning and I have breakfast
10:28
And I just got up my day. Some days I have like nine things to do on my list
10:38
Sometimes I do have like a whole. a lot of things to do on my to-do list
10:42
I'm making sure I'm getting stuff done and sticking to my same exact schedule
10:49
Is, yeah, we're in this whole thing together. And it's scary at times
10:57
And I admit it. But people still, I'm just, I'm just trying to stay
11:09
like on a regular schedule, like nothing's really different. Yeah, okay, you know, my church is on
11:19
my church does online sermons, and that's different, but you know, I think that they're in a great job with that
11:30
They're not pretending that nothing's happening. So that'd be, I think, number three, maybe number four, I kind of less try
11:45
Let's say that's number three. So you got stay on a consistent schedule, number two, read books, stay away from the news
12:02
Okay, so this is number four. Okay, I lost count. See, that's what happens when you
12:07
I don't have a script in front of me. Oh, well, I'm just waiting in it
12:12
First episode, I can only improve from here. So number four, stay on a consistent schedule
12:23
and don't pretend nothing's happening at this whole coronavirus, but just stay on a consistent schedule
12:32
wake up every single, wake up at the same time, go to bed at the same time
12:39
Number five, don't binge watch Netflix all week long. And, you know, I have a TV right here on the side, on the, on my, next to my computer while I'm recording this
12:57
Yeah, you know, it's easy for, it's easy for me to, I could
13:02
easily turn on the TV and watch Netflix. But what I do
13:09
I set a schedule on my calendar for the weekend, Saturday and Sunday
13:15
I can only watch 10 hours total. Not 10 hours on Saturday and 10 hours on Sunday
13:24
It's 5 and 5. So if I want to watch 5 hours
13:28
may not in a row, I may break here and there. and I can
13:35
but as I to be honest to be fair on Saturday I watched a movie with my
13:46
and my brother and my parents but it was all good I don't always do that during the week
13:55
but as you know whoever follows me on social media yeah I try to stay I just try to try uh I just try to uh yeah I try to uh I try to not watch any TV or Netflix during me because you know it's kind of like like after I get all my uh uh after I get all my to uh after I get all my to do list
14:29
done during the week and being productive with my website and now this podcast
14:36
I just try not to I like to reward myself with a movie or Netflix
14:46
during the at then on the weekend so that's number five
14:55
is limit your time on Netflix. You don't have to binge watch every show
15:03
It's okay. You can always come back to it later. That's why they have multiple episodes
15:11
You don't have to watch it all on one. The internet can be in a distraction place
15:16
It's full distractions like social media, shopping, and so many more websites that are very distracting
15:25
just like video games and whatnot. But it is all over the place So much noise going on Well with a blocker tools like Freedom Blocker it can block all those destruction websites that you find distracting I block RuneScape Facebook Twitter and all the social media marketing tools
15:48
Without Freedom Blocker, I wouldn't be able to run Crazy Fitnessguy.com because I'd be distracted all day long
15:56
but thanks to them so I'm not longer distracted go to visit the
16:03
web link in the show notes for more information about Freedom Blocker
16:08
for more information about what they do what they are and whatnot
16:14
and you can in the best part about Freedom Blocker you can use it on all of your devices
16:20
Apple, Windows, Macs, tablets and more visit them to follow more information

Thank you for your generous support over the years. It means a lot to me
18:08
Thank you. Are you stuck with you and you don't know what to do for dinner
18:14
Well, let me tell you about this awesome, amazing company called Eat Clean Bro
18:20
You get healthy recipes. delivered right to your door, they're fresh, they're cooked for you, and all you have to do
18:30
is heated up in the microwave or oven. It's simple, quick and easy, affordable, and
18:38
each meal is delicious. I found them through Tiger Schulman's karate, and I joined them
18:50
and partner with them because I think you would like them too
18:55
And I absolutely love their meals. They're fresh, authentic, and it's all around great food that you normally think
19:06
oh gee, I think this would take hours to cook, but they already took out all the cooking for you
19:11
All you have to do is use it up in the microwave. How simple is that? Or the stove
19:16
I mean, all the oven. So go check out Eat Clean Bro
19:20
in the links and the show notes for more information about them
19:27
Yeah, and there's a pause button for a reason. You don't have to finish every single episode
19:34
Use it. So number six, stay healthy, stay hydrated
19:44
and exercise. I'm making sure I have I get up out of my chair every single hour or take a break, walk around
19:58
And, yeah, I like to take a break, walk around. I've been drinking lots of water, keeping hydrated, exercising
20:14
And first thing in the morning, sorry, it's over and I'm done with
20:19
Except when it's my karate workouts because I need more water than just 32 ounces in the morning when I wake up
20:32
So it's going to have to be like nighttime around like 7 p.m. karate classes for me
20:39
So that's number six. So stay hydrated, healthy. and and yeah
20:49
number seven have you feeling anxious you're frustrated
20:58
your board around the house and you need a vent he is a journal app
21:08
I like to use this journal article called Penzu it's free You got unlimited storage for writing stuff in your journal
21:20
I like my digital, digitally, because my handwriting is really, really, really bad
21:26
I think a two-year-old can, maybe a four-year-old can write better than me
21:33
And, yeah, I'm just, my handwriting is atrocious. Sometimes I can't even read my own handwriting
21:42
Anyway, I digress. That's the fun part about not having a That's the fun part of not having a script in front of me
21:51
I'm just going off the top of my head at the moment One of what I can do next time
21:55
So I like to write in my journal I set up a reminder of my to-do list
22:01
To write in my journal every single night before I go to bed
22:06
Just to jot down my frustrations, my prose Of the day, my cons of the day
22:12
my cons of the day. Sometimes it's just saying how productive I am during the day
22:21
Yeah. And number eight, this kind of ties back into the whole
22:35
this kind of ties back into the health and wellness and stay hydrated
22:47
and make sure you're also tracking your food intake because I know sometimes during these hard times people like to like oh yeah I got a
22:59
I'm eating a bunch of cans stuff. And it's like, buy some healthy can stuff. Don't buy high and sodium stuff
23:13
Like yeah I I mean healthy Sometimes even when I have we have to order And I like to order healthy stuff like I had a balsamic chicken sandwich from
23:28
a place that delivers and it had chicken balsamic vinaigret
23:39
with a rusted red peppers, mozzarella cheese on some kind of like taste
23:48
it's like a test of roll or some cheese on top I guess
23:55
and that sounds like 100% healthy but it could be it's better than have pizza or
24:03
or high sodium food there are so many ads these days wherever you go
24:13
there are ads in movie theaters on TV on radio and on billboards
24:18
So why would you want to listen to ads in a podcast? Subscribe to the Crazy Fitness Guy Premium podcast to get these exclusive benefits

show notes. Now let's get back to the show. I think I only have like, I think I only had like maybe 400 milligrams of sodium in it
25:03
It's not terrible. I've seen a lot of worse things in my life with high sodium
25:12
So make sure you're tracking your food and making sure you can hear, uh
25:18
fruits, vegetables, proteins, keeping a sodium down. And so number nine
25:30
uh, uh, uh, listen to something positive, like listen to some upbeat music
25:40
Listen to a, uh, um, um, uh, listen to a, um, uh
25:47
podcast like I like this one called the Daily Boost by I think his name
25:55
I think it was a Scott Scott something Scott I think of Scott
26:03
I'll tell you right now Oh Scott Smith Yeah Yeah Yeah
26:16
he has a one he does these short little episodes to help people get motivated and
26:29
there's like maybe I think the longest one I ever seen on his show was like
26:35
21 minutes but that was a coronavirus episode like this one but yeah he's
26:43
I really enjoyed I really enjoy to listen to his podcast. It keeps me motivated
26:50
keep going on when I'm stuck with some of my things I have to do
26:57
It's a his podcast actually I got me to motivate motivation just on my own
27:09
So thanks Scott Smith if you're listening. So that's nine. Number 10, I have to say, tune out the negative people out there who are worrying about the summer
27:33
and about just how crappy the stock market is and whatnot. you know, it's like, we're in a tough situation and tough everything right now
27:53
But, you know, I think I believe that we can pulsarated together as long as we work together to get a care or a vaccine or whatnot
28:06
And here's one more as a bonus for you. Number 11, this just popped in my head
28:19
Make sure you don't read the fake news about fake vaccines and cures
28:32
Just listen to what the CDC has to say. I'm not listening to anybody else
28:39
I'm not listening to the news, what they have to say. Until the CDC comes out with something new
28:45
I'm not going to listen to anyone else because they're not experts
28:51
The CDC is an expert. And it's like the news. In my opinion, I think the news should just report the news
28:58
and don't give me your opinions. Just report the news. I don't want to be preached at
29:04
Just tell me the facts, Jack. Got it. So I hope you enjoyed today's episode
29:12
And please don't be one of those people on social media. I'm saying
29:18
we're going to, we're not going to get a summer out of this because of this or whatnot
29:29
It's only April. It's April 13th. It's not June 22nd. I give you my permission to be worried about the summer the week before June 22nd rolls around
29:48
But until in that time, don't worry. Keep a level head, eat healthy, and stay away from the news
30:00
Wait until the CDC comes out with something with more guidelines. or listen to them
30:10
They're experts. So I hope you enjoy today's episode. And the next episode
30:25
expect around the same time next month, maybe the week of the 13th or the 20th
30:32
So stay tuned. Hope you enjoy. Thanks for tuning into another episode of Crazy Fitness Guy Healthy Living podcast
