All right, so if you caught my last video, I covered the first five haunted places that I found in America that are some of the best haunted places that you can go to, both hotels and B&Bs and also just regular museums and tours and things
0:14
So today we're going to cover the next five so that we'll have 10 all around America, fantastic places you can go this fall and enjoy a little bit of that Halloween spirit
0:24
You ready? Let's go. Really quick, before we jump into it, I just want to let you know we have a brand new resource
0:36

0:42
of the overwhelming travel websites available today. It helps you know exactly where to go to get
0:48
the absolute best rates and to get started planning your next vacation. So to download your
0:53
free copy today, just go ahead and hit that link in the description below. Okay, let's get back to it
0:58
Okay, so I covered the first five last time. This is going to be the next five that I found
1:03
of the most haunted places in America that you can go take a look at this October or in a future
1:10
year if you're watching this past 2020. And so today I want to dive in and let's get started right
1:15
away. The first one I want to talk to you about is the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas
1:20
Now, this is commonly considered one of America's most haunted hotels. It was built in 1886 and was
1:27
originally a cancer hospital or a location where cancer patients went to receive treatment
1:34
And it was known that the doctor who was running the facility was actually a scam artist and
1:41
brought a lot of people in and just to take their money and was scamming them
1:45
And so it was reported that they had a morgue in the basement because several people died
1:50
on that property. One of the biggest hauntings that they report is from a Theodora
1:55
Now, she stays in room 419, but there are other actual specific rooms that have been known to have reports of different paranormal activity
2:03
And you can find more information about that on the website. Theodora is known that if you mess up the room at all, because you can stay in her room
2:11
If you mess up the room at all or she doesn't like you for some reason, she's been known to stack the luggage against the door so you can't open the door
2:19
Anyway that just one of the stories If you take a look at their website you can see some of the other stories and it is a hotel So once again you can stay in these rooms if you really want to take it a step further and have a nice good spooky Halloween this year
2:32
All right, the next one is Soudon. Soudon, Soudon House. I don't know if I'm saying that right, but it is in or near Hollywood, California
2:40
Now, this is the location. It's a really interesting house, as you can see from the photos
2:45
They also sometimes call it the Jaws House. It's a 6,000 square foot house
2:50
It's where they've filmed some movies and different things. It's actually designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, so it's pretty magnificent
2:57
It is a museum. But the thing that made it on this list is also the location of the Black Dahlia murder
3:06
Now, although I don't think the guy who actually committed the murder, the previous owner of this house, was actually ever convicted
3:13
But his son was a police detective and actually came forward to and confirmed that, yes, his dad did
3:20
murder Elizabeth Short in, I believe, the basement of the Southern House. So that was in
3:26
1947 when she was murdered. And the house today is open for tours because it has been, like I said
3:31
the site of movies and it also is a Frank Lloyd Wright House. But I believe they do have
3:37
some night tours as well to talk about the Black Dahlia murder. And I believe it is on those
3:42
haunted lists. So there must be some reports of paranormal activity as well. So if you're in
3:48
Hollywood and you're going to go check out the Rosabeth Hotel. Maybe take a look at this
3:52
out in house as well. The next one is Winchester House up in San Jose, California. And this one was
3:57
owned by Sarah Winchester. Now, she is of the Winchester family, is, you know, guns, the firearms
4:04
family. And she lived at her husband and her daughter died. And so she moved to San Jose
4:12
And apparently a psychic told her to build this house. She started it when she moved in 18
4:18
1886 and she continued to constantly work on the house until she died in 1922. It was constantly
4:27
under construction and constantly being built onto. It is known as the mystery house because it has
4:33
just weird, unusual, just architectural oddities. So you'll have staircases that end in walls and
4:40
different rooms and things It literally called the Winchester Mystery House The reason she she built it apparently a psychic told her to build it but also she was afraid She said she was haunted by the spirits of the victims of the gun that won the West
4:58
So she felt she was haunted by all of the people that died from people who were shot by Winchester guns
5:05
So this is something that haunted her the rest of her life, and she built this house with all sorts of things to protect herself from these spirits
5:14
This place is currently not open, but it could be by October
5:18
So I would check ahead of time if you're planning to go there. It is considered one of the top 10 most haunted places in America
5:25
So it is pretty popular. And I'm sure they'll open it just as soon as they're able to with COVID
5:29
But if you're in California, it is definitely worth taking a look at. The next one is Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado
5:36
This is where Stephen King stayed one night and came up, was inspired to
5:44
The Shining. This is the hotel that spawned the shining. F.O. Stanley is the one that owned this
5:51
I believe it was built around the early 1900s, 1903, and he had consumption, which was tuberculosis
5:57
and found he felt better when he went to Colorado and visited there. So he created an entire resort
6:03
where others can go at a big hotel and lots of land and things where people could go and
6:08
recover. Now, it is still a working hotel today, but what people will, people will
6:14
have reported seeing is F.O. himself, as well as other members of the family, old staff, old bartenders
6:21
and things roaming around in the ballroom. They actually have a piano that will start playing on its own
6:27
And when you come into the room, it stops and the keys stop moving. There's been children's
6:32
spirit steam. In fact, in room 418, there's children that have been seen in there and being
6:37
mischievous and getting into trouble. Also in room 407, Lord Dunraven, if I'm saying that right
6:44
Dunraven has been known to hang out in the corner. When the room is not occupied, people have seen
6:49
somebody peering out of the window from the outside. And people who have been in the room have had
6:55
ghostly kind of a shadow in the corner that will turn the light on and off. And one man said
7:01
Lord Dunraven, I know you're there. I need to go to sleep. Can you turn the light off? And it turned
7:07
off So these are just a couple of the rooms There actually many more that you can stay in that have had reports of haunting So it another haunted place you can really if you really want to be spooked out this October it might be a really great place to stay
7:20
All right. The last one is Myrtle's Plantation, and this is in St. Francisville, Louisiana
7:27
Now, this is considered the most, or has been considered, one of the most haunted hotels in America
7:34
This is the site of an old plantation, thus the name, Mertles Plantation
7:38
And so there were a lot of slaves that I believe were killed, were tortured on the property, but it also has had a ton of paranormal
7:45
activity. In fact, the National Geographic Explorer crew actually captured what they considered
7:53
to be one of the ghosts on film. And if you go to their website, you can actually see it. In fact
7:57
I'll go ahead and share these photos with you. This shadow that you see in the corner
8:01
somebody has gone back and actually measured it and looked at it more detailed, somebody who
8:06
specializes in digital photography and film. And they said that the proportions exactly match the proportions of a human
8:14
So it's not just a shadow or something like that. They said that it's been validated
8:19
This is Chloe, one of the slaves, that lived on the property. And then the other photo I wanted to show you is in this postcard or in this picture
8:27
If you scroll into the window, you can see a girl in old Victorian garb staring out of the window in this photo
8:34
This place is a hotel and it is open for tours. And as you can see, you might see
8:40
a few things that might be a little disturbing, but if that's what you like, then this might be a
8:45
great place to go. While you're in Louisiana, go see the La Lurie House and then come take a look
8:51
at this one as well. All right, so that is the last set of five haunted, most haunted places
8:57
in the USA. As I said, there are more. These were just the top 10 between these last two days
9:03
that cover all of America that were the most popular that I found. And so if you would like to go ahead
9:09
