abandoned them ever since at least I had but the thing that made us lose Faith
0:06
was we wanted to hold the Republican Party officials to the platform of the
0:14
Republican party and we and we insisted that in a County Convention formally
0:20
organized that they abide by the the platform
0:26
compliance and they refused to do that and part of our resolution was that we
0:32
were going to print in the newspaper of condemnations
0:38
of them as officials if they didn't and they walked out of the convention
0:43
and at that point I had lost faith in the Republican party because I realized that they're all doing this school's
0:50
Republicans and Democrats alike but anyway I just wanted to add that in case anybody in here is still
0:57
nurturing the idea that the Republican party is our possible salvation I'm so
1:03
glad you raised that issue bear with me um
1:09
Jefferson said political parties by their nature are
1:16
corrupted because their loyalties go to the party they don't go to the Constitution
1:22
and so we all need government we want it we need it we refer the government in
1:29
which we can elect our representatives and we all have an individual responsibility to choose to pay
1:36
attention and and to choose and vote for the person that we think is the right person
1:42
that's all well and good but the problem in America today is I
1:48
see everybody knows quite certainly now after this political season
1:54
we all know everybody knows that the people are the source of all political
2:00
you don't get a dog there and everybody knows that but what so few people know the other side of the
2:07
coin is every elected and appointed official is limited
2:12
by what he or she can do limited by the written word you and I can do whatever we want to do as long as there's no law
2:17
and says we can but government can only do what they're authorized to do if it's not in writing beginning with the
2:23
Constitution they can't do it and any statute that's repugnant to the Constitution is null employed okay
2:29
that's a huge difference and so we have people today uh
2:34
you know everybody everything is couched in political terms we might think our numbers are
2:41
increasing as people have become more aware of the true character of our
2:46
political parties or whatever reason we may think our numbers are increasing but
2:52
let's not forget public education has all been taken over private education and the government has decided that it's
2:59
not in its best interest to teach the children that they have the ultimate power in our society that
3:07
you know that they can you know the government is limited in what it can do
3:12
and that and that they the people are sovereign it's not in there the government has decided it's not their
3:17
interest to teach that instead they teach the children that the state is Sovereign and if you've got a problem look to the government and they're
3:24
turning out millions of kids every year and it doesn't until you get reached about 40 unless Ron Paul comes along and
3:30
gets them younger until you begin to wake up and begin to you know sort these things out so it uh
3:36
to rely your point is I think
3:41
to encourage people to rely on the electoral process is is Madness I mean
3:49
um people in government are human they suffer the same human frailties we all
3:55
suffer from the love of money and power and so forth and and uh
4:01
to encourage people to rely on that electoral process um is wrong and
4:09
the math is against you you can never get uh
4:14
legislatures Congress or state legislatures populated
4:19
with constitutionalists the math is against you Ron Paul is the personification of what I just said look
4:27
at Ron Paul's campaign every time he mentioned the truth
4:33
the Constitution he lost another block of Voters when he said for instance it's
4:40
unconstitutional you know to invade Iraq and to have these troops around the world and do the things that we do with
4:46
our foreign policy he lost a huge block of votes a large block people who want
4:51
us over there not the least of which is aipac the American Israeli uh political
4:57
whatever committee it's an enormous influence across the country when Ron Paul says the Federal Reserve is
5:03
unconstitutional gosh you lost a big block of Voters there's a whole lot of people at work and their spouses they
5:09
work for these corporations that spring up around central banks when Ron Paul says government should be limited to
5:15
these powers that are enumerated in the Constitution and we need to downsize government teaches you know how many people work for government in this
5:21
country local state and federal large large numbers of them he lost their votes and on and on I can go every time
5:29
he mentioned the truth spoke the constantly he was the only one speaking about the Constitution he would lose a
5:36
block of Voters so he ends up with just three four five percent of the vote that's all so the numbers are against
5:43
us in terms of being able to get constitutionalists in office the numbers are against us but
5:52
again I remind you even if the numbers were not against us our rights do not depend upon the will of any majority you
6:00
know whether it's the people voting or in Congress or whatever our rights are individual rights and thing is the Constitution doesn't defend
6:07
itself so that's our job so it's important so I think our job is
6:14
to hold the government accountable is to organize an institutionalized vigilance
6:20
make citizen vigilance of government regardless of their political structures let's not get too close to any of them
6:26
as Precinct captains or delegates or whatever it is let's not get that close that we're not able to hold them
6:32
accountable you know when they step outside the boundaries that we've drawn around their power okay that's I think
6:39
the way we have to see this thing and it was a mistake I tried I tried with Rod
6:44
believe me I tried I said to Ron you're going to get 17 000 Patriots gathered in Minneapolis you
6:52
know at the launching of the campaign for Liberty it is a mistake I said to him to
6:58
encourage all of those people to encourage to encourage them to rely on
7:03
the electoral process which is what the campaign for Liberty is all about it's all about trying to get the
7:09
Republican Party back to their Roots that's all it's about yeah and it ain't gonna happen it can't happen
7:16
Jefferson was right these are humans okay and and uh so our job is to
7:23
scrutinize organize ourselves you know you you've got I'm sorry to go on I'm just to finish this
7:30
is my long answer to the question with this one thought you've got organizations like the Sierra
7:36
Club and the Wildlife Federation gosh they are huge they got a big office you
7:42
know big staff and people write checks all the time and they die and they leave parts of their estate to these
7:48
organizations for the environment or for you know the wildlife well freedom is a
7:53
cause people ought to be as passionate about freedom and liberty and rights as
7:59
they are about these other things you know and we've got to organize to get to that point okay freedom is a cause now
8:06
let's get organized through these state or if someone's got a superior approach you know to getting uh to getting uh
8:16
to restoring the Republican and putting the Constitution back where it belongs and organizing the people not just for
8:24
now but for the long term if there's a superior plan then the one you've heard from me fine let's get on with it but in
8:30
the absence of one this is it and so I would encourage everybody to think this
8:36
you know put aside a lot of the other issues in your lives yes stock up with some food and things because things are
8:42
going to go rough for a while but uh but focus on this I wouldn't beg you to
8:49
focus on this plan and do everything you can to talk this up guy wrote
8:55
he's a 18 year old college student and he read these articles he says I know what I'm going to do he's I'm going to
9:01
make up posters and I'm going to put them all over town you know just talk about the Continental Congress 2009
9:07
that's great imagine if we had you know kids doing that all over because any other questions
9:13
before someone asks another one yes you had to hand up a while I just want to say I commend you for what you're doing
9:18
here today um
9:24
represent a group that feels we're already past the time for politics and talking my question to you uh regarding
9:32
this particular matter is the way I see this is you have to have some kind of hope
9:39
or faith that these people are willing to relinquish the control and power they have over our country amen King George
9:45
wasn't willing to do that John F Kennedy warned us before he was assassinated that they will not declare war on us
9:52
there is a law that was passed last year the Homegrown radicalization in Terrorist prevention Act of 2007 which
9:58
is unconstitutional not on your list the question I have because according to
10:04
that law we're all we're no longer Americans it's on the list and so it's part of the police
10:09
state but go ahead okay I didn't see it out there my question is first of all as far as safety for the people that are
10:16
going to be partaking in this in a pyramid type structure you're putting everybody at risk and being pinpointed
10:22
by The Wrath of the government to collapse any kind of leadership that we have my second is is again you have to
10:28
have faith that they're willing to relinquish that control King George wasn't what makes you think that they
10:35
will I don't expect them to
10:40
and I know history I know it goes in Cycles you have
10:46
violence in in communities and countries and all and so forth Nations and it may come to that I'll be the
10:52
first to admit that only I think we have to go through this process
10:57
this non-gandhi I'm following Gandhi's formula until it becomes necessary to do
11:05
something else okay Gandhi said you know who Gandhi was he's the guy that got India out from under British women right
11:11
and and he said when the people are up against unjust and uncivil government
11:19
and laws and they are entitled to reform they'll get it only if they follow a three-part formula
11:25
he says if you're missing any one of the three parts you'll fail he said you have to be proactive you've got to be in
11:31
their face all the time you've got to be non-violent and you've got to have a mass movement you have to have a
11:36
critical mass that's the formula I'm following will we succeed it's up to you it's up to the people
11:43
if we fail then I think you're going to see some sort of South American
11:50
approach some violent approach where individuals Target other individuals whether they be judges or IRS agents or
11:57
whatever they are and they target them and take them out I mean that goes on all the time America that's how they fight Corruption
12:06
of their governments and it may come to that it would break my heart if it came to that and I'm not ready for that I
12:12
think we can do this I think you get a 15 20 million people together that's people power people power has always
12:18
worked and if people had a 15 million 20 people say we're withdrawing our support
12:24
from the government and at the same time State legislatures we're giving you this opportunity to pass these model statutes
12:30
to reinvigorate and uh these well-regulated State militias okay
12:36
um then that's something like that is something we we need to let the world
12:41
see not only these violations and are repeated petitions for remedy to these Grievances
12:49
and then let them see what we went through the trouble and we're only talking a few months here okay we've
12:55
gone through this trouble um of getting these delegates together discussing these issues for the world to
13:02
see documented for the world to see okay these issues will be professionally addressed debated discussed and and uh
13:10
and and then there will be a course of action decided upon for the world to see and that if the government says sorry
13:18
you know we are now um uh we've got a country where we had Hill I've been in Haiti okay and I've
13:25
seen how Hayden uh is uh I could never forget the images first of all I walked
13:31
up to the to the presidential Palace which has a fence like our White House all the way around it just to take a
13:37
picture and all the guards their weapons and point to them at me okay I said okay I'm out again all right then I
13:43
observed the Hill People up on the hill where all of the people working for government and and corporations and then
13:50
down here where all of the people inking down in existence and I said my God that's where we're heading we've got to
13:57
prevent that okay we've got Hill people and we've got everybody else and and that's wrong and so I would say we give
14:04
this a shot you may be right and we're gonna if we do this then we're justified
14:10
in whatever my Approach has always been take the appropriate Next Step what is the
14:15
appropriate Next Step where we're at today is it violence no I don't think so I think this the appropriate next step
14:22
is the kind of thing we're talking about then the appropriate next next step may come it may turn out to be like but I
14:28
don't think we're there yet my concern comes from the fact that I was a medic in the Army I've seen yeah I've seen
14:34
what military can do and I know we can't even open a war against our military the I've got a three-year-old and a
14:41
five-year-old daughter I definitely want to live long enough to see them have kids I don't want to be late with a terrorist and we'll find out for my
14:48
freedom and to die in the process and have my kids see me in that life but there Comes A Time just as they're
14:55
dipped in that we have to draw a line and say enough is enough if you go one by one in the Bill of Rights we have no
15:01
rights in London they've already declared war on our Constitution and on
15:07
our sovereignty when do we decide say we do this and they tell us no and don't
15:13
answer any of our agreements well that agreements is we withdraw our support
15:18
and we introduced this legislation and if they crack down
15:23
you know and they refuse see I've been named governor run a state
15:28
agency in one state and I run a policy office in another state I was on the ballot for governor of New York in 1994.
15:35
uh I was a full-time advisor to the U.S administrative Environmental Protection
15:41
Agency I understand government and also in an industry worked with General Electric for many years at my home
15:46
company was on an investment banker on Wall Street and I knew that scene so
15:52
I and I've been at this kind of work now since 1979 confronting government wrongdoing when they step out of line
15:59
winning a lot of cases but when you get too close to the heart of the lines of money and power you lose
16:04
um I I just think this is the appropriate next step and and I say look give it all I mean one thing the
16:10
government I've learned doesn't like is bad press and this is going to give them
16:16
a lot of fan press and will they crack down they might they may when I walk out
16:21
of here today that you may never hear of me again I don't know but it's it's something that I
16:27
Liberty is my passion and I hope it's your passion it's going to take passion
16:32
to see this thing through it's not good not saying it's going to be easy but it wasn't me it's never easy but
16:40
it's worth it I think it's worth it and I hope this 15 to 20 million other people who think it's worth it uh to to
16:47
take this stand time and it's only going to get more difficult as time goes on
16:54
here anybody else that hasn't spoken yet John I'm sorry
16:59
one of my old things is that no one can be truly free who is not first said
17:05
goodbye to life you can't claim to life or the joys that
17:11
life brings that you're going to be brave you have to be prepared to give it up
17:17
now anyone who's been to my website constitution.org
17:22
should be immediately uh cognizant of the fact that anyone behind this website has got to be
17:29
targeted and I am if I'm still here
17:34
and of course part of the reason Mighty of different 84 million
17:40
page visits to that website that makes a difference they're a little
17:46
reluctant to take on a guy who is that prominent
17:51
now I don't just speak to the choir when I'm out delivering the message I go
17:58
to the centers of power if you were watching C-SPAN coverage of
18:04
the Federalist Society National Convention you could have seen me there asking questions of the families
18:12
and you can still see videos of those a few years ago I was treated as a kind
18:18
of a outcast I was definitely out of the mainstream
18:24
as far as they were concerned but you know over a period of time and you can tell by their reaction to my
18:31
questions they're beginning to reluctantly accept the validity of a lot
18:36
of what I have to say and therefore a lot of what you're saying and this isn't done by simply taking the
18:45
message to the decision makers to the opinion leaders not just to your friends or neighbors
18:51
who really don't have much influence cultivating journalists cultivating the people who are close to
18:59
the halls of power and I have not almost every day with members of the Texas legislature
19:06
with England state government and after a while even if they didn't initially agree with you they began to
19:14
become familiar with to you that began to say well you know that's
19:19
his views are a little bit of hideous and credit but gee they this one makes kind of sense and that one kind of makes
19:25
sense and well maybe I could go along with that and a little by little trip by grip you move them along
19:34
and that's what it takes you can never be afraid if you will show any fear that's not confronting a wild
19:41
animal and jungle amen you showing up here they're gonna pounce on you
19:46
your job is not to be afraid you're trying to make demographic
19:52
and you need to cultivate the art of intimidating others by sheer force of
19:57
personality stuff one of the more useful tools of the Rock
20:04
Hall campaign were meetup groups there's still a lot of meetup groups out
20:09
there that you can join and you can organize others I have one in honestly
20:15
it also organized was called a Meetup alliance called the Constitutional
20:21
compliance native Alliance that unites meetup groups all across the country and
20:26
Indonesia and to join that it serves as a convenient way for everybody to
20:33
communicate with everybody else and to begin to develop common strategies
20:38
also next weekend we're holding under the third of several
20:45
recent militia Masters we've had two already here in Texas near
20:51
the town of T in November and December we're holding the next one we're going
20:56
to hold in Oklahoma a little further to go but we wanted to
21:01
make a big showing up there so we decided to take the Texas boys up to Oklahoma
21:08
who put aside our differences on football and after that we're probably gonna have
21:13
another one here in Texas and we're trying to encourage everyone who has formed any kind of political
21:20
action group to also have a militia component believe me if the establishment gets the
21:28
word there are hundreds or thousands of local groups going out there armed and
21:34
conducting field training it has an impact we don't have to say things we
21:40
don't have to file any petitions we don't have to you know implicitly threatened anybody to do anything just
21:48
our standing up there and being there makes all the difference
22:02
John Roland by the way yeah I invite you also uh you're a member of our Meetup
22:08
Group yes uh put the militia stuff on there as well on our little uh message
22:13
board the problem is that I could only send three messages messages to three
22:18
meetup groups a day really and I'm a member of hundreds of hundreds of media groups and there are many adjusting
22:24
taxes so I need to be able to send a message through the complex
22:30
constitutional compliance Alliance to the organizers and have them forward the
22:36
messages to their groups so I got to join your group you got to join me all right
22:41
now I would like to invite everyone to hang around uh we'd like to hear from each group uh
22:49
I do believe there are numerous groups that are here today uh we'd like to hear
22:54
from each one of them uh through a spokesman or on whatever we maybe do
23:00
five minutes per group and what uh I'd like to do and if this is okay with Hank
23:07
he's pretty much the chief of our little dude here uh he's he's saying he isn't
23:12
so anyway uh where uh I would like to suggest that we actually pick
23:18
the three uh uh delegates to the convention
23:25
today because we didn't have over 50 people here today we'd have to go
23:30
through something uh similar to this before it's going to be in a couple of months right
23:36
uh so we we actually need to do this pretty soon and I believe there's plenty
23:41
of competent people in here that can can do that and I think everybody feel good
23:46
today if they if they leave here today but how many times have we driven out
23:53
here you've driven many miles and any of that we leave with uh you know it was a
23:58
cheer you know it's good to have the cheerleader Squad that's good but there's more to this than the cheerleader Squad we gotta we actually
24:05
got to have something at the end of the day we know we're gonna I think it's great just to have a big large meeting
24:11
somewhere and having it in DC is a good
24:17
place to have one so uh let's hang around today afterwards and let's let's
24:23
uh hear from each group and and let's get three volunteers let's literally get
24:30
some people that would want to volunteer to go as our delegates and we'll select
24:35
from the volunteers I know everybody doesn't want to go okay thank you Ron one closing uh comment how many uh
24:42
yeah obtained or seen a copy of this little pamphlet it's called democracy or
24:48
republican which is it looks like Benedict LaRosa how many have you ever not seen one of these yet
24:54
okay I'm going to pass them out and we have the author here with us today I'm
25:00
going to introduce you by reading from the pamphlets
25:07
Benedict D LaRosa is a historian and author he earned undergraduate and
25:12
graduate degrees in history from the United States Air Force Academy
25:17
and Duke University respectively during the Vietnam war he served as a pilot and unit historian in Southeast Asia and
25:26
later worked as a civilian historian for the Department of the Air Force he's the author of gun control a historical
25:33
perspective published by Candlestick Publishing Company and this is his
25:41
powerful little pocket version of
25:47
of the problems with democracy and the benefits of
25:53
Republic you want to say anything Ben come on up and just say hello this is Ben LaRosa and
26:02
um well I'll wait till he's finished but then I'll pass these out just take a few
26:07
seconds put this together back in 1991 I think originally
26:13
because I heard a lot of people talking about democracy and Republican people saying this is a republic not a
26:19
democracy but no one could find it so I saw people on TV say that
26:25
essentially they were the same thing with just some minor differences in one case you both were Representatives another case you vote directly let's not
26:32
truth there's a lot more to it and I got together with a publisher
26:39
who had told me when I put my gun control panel together says you know people don't read anymore
26:45
or not that many people to eat you know you can write a book it costs forty dollars how many people are going
26:50
to see that so he said if they can't read it sitting
26:55
on the you know on the potty and he says you don't have to read it so I put things in half of the floor so
27:03
you can read them very quickly and put them in your pocket you can hand them to somebody I've gone through extremes to
27:09
try to keep the price as low as possible so that you know it won't cost you
27:14
around the lake a couple of dollars each you buy a bunch of them and just give
27:20
them to people and it doesn't have everything in there but it has enough to convince someone
27:26
because they're not going to sit there I know because I I email people who are very brilliant in positions of power and
27:33
authority where my friends around the country classmates and others generals you know congressman and others they
27:39
don't have the time to read this stuff if it takes more than you know three or four minutes they're not going to read
27:45
it so you know this is the sort of thing that you can just hand out and give to
27:52
somebody and say listen it's especially since you may not be elephant yourself you may not know all the resources this
27:58
is what I'm talking about read this and that's what it's designed to do thank you Ben and he's it was the
28:06
palateers who made an enormous difference
28:11
leading up to the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War Tom Payne and others were the
28:17
pamphleteers they wrote these little pamphlets and got them around to people so help yourself to one of you uh care
28:25
to and there should be enough there to go around um all right so Ron has made you have
28:33
something like a second share one more three more this gentleman sitting here being afraid
28:42
exactly I had already have four brothers in my service but one was awarded the
28:47
Silver Star but they stated this Plantation and he did all this without being afraid we got considered he would
28:53
not accept it because he he was a friend but you still do things when you're afraid but I am right now I'm 83 years
29:02
old just a couple of weeks now
29:16
been there done that but I am afraid only of being afraid because you cannot do
29:25
anything if you're going to sit idle by and say well I'm afraid I'm going to be killed fine I've already been there
29:32
before kill me I will always killed almost two times one time the Philippines went to Korea so I've been
29:38
there I've done that but I want to encourage this devil down here don't be afraid
29:44
I haven't gone God is God is saying
29:50
yeah I want you to follow me and those that did follow him on that side of death
29:58
I want to follow what this man right here a lot of cute
30:03
is trying to do I want to do because I believe that we have no choice but to continue
30:11
to move forward but whatever might be left to our lives this man I'm going to
30:16
follow him thank you just uh Merry Christmas I love uh
30:22
forgive me Ron just very quickly um
30:34
you'll notice uh the fact somewhere in the back of this bro sure there's a I
30:39
think a picture and a brief endorsement by General Ray Davis General Ray Davis I think it's near
30:46
their back Ben maybe the um I think yeah there's a brief letter in
30:53
there from General Ray Davis he's now passed away about a year or two ago but General Ray Davis
31:00
when he was a lie he was the most highly decorated veteran alive
31:06
he got the still got the Congressional Medal of Honor for rescuing some 25 000
31:12
GIS at the chosen Reservoir bringing them out alive when they were surrounded uh in Korea he fraught in all these wars
31:20
and uh I was here in Houston actually some years ago I was shared the podium
31:26
with him at a speech before 500 a whole room full of veterans right and we were
31:34
talking about fear that was the subject we found ourselves talking about after the presentation and
31:41
um uh and I thought that that was ironic or strange here I am talking you know
31:50
about fear of front of you know 500 veterans that have been true at all but any event
31:57
unfinances a big surprise to me when I sat down one of the things we had just done was run a full page USA a us and
32:05
the USA Today to educate people about the unconstitutionality of the direct
32:10
unabortion tax on labor okay uh that was and and we were also on
32:16
C-Span we had a three and a half hour event it was covered at the five uh at the national Press Club covered by
32:22
C-SPAN so we had crashed on the scene raising these questions about the
32:27
constitutionality of direct unapportioned tax on labor anyway so we were talking about uh you know the
32:34
need to defend our rights and so forth and so I sat down and Jake Ray Davis stood up he took the
32:41
podium and and uh and he said this is the kind of heart and fearless nature
32:49
this is on camera cameras were running just a big event in general Ray Davis
32:55
stood up and unbeknownst to me he had a copy of our full-page USA Today head
33:00
with him and he said look um
33:06
when you send in your uh on April 15th send them one of these and he held up
33:12
our full page ahead and that's on camera um so he was Fearless you know you take
33:18
on you start questioning their uh the constitutionality especially in the tax you can expect to hear from them
33:25
um and it's it's it doesn't go easy on those who stand up for their rights in that regard and that's why I say from
33:32
experience uh you you can't individuals and smell small groups can't Prevail but
33:37
by the Numbers we can Ben you're an historian you came here for another purpose he's delivering a another few
33:43
hundred copies of these brochures to us um you've heard some things here today that
33:49
you may not have heard before is that fair to say you're an historian you're just you know doing your thing in
33:54
life and you wrote these little pamphlets um what's your reaction I'm very interested in your reaction to some of
34:00
the things you've heard here today and just be candid and tell us we're all full of soup
34:12
that's right I learned something every time I go somewhere no one has knowledge
34:18
of everything but you gotta understand this is a process and not a Sprint you have to go through certain steps and
34:24
that's what I like about it what Bob is doing I understand your concerns and the
34:29
concerns of other people I've seen this I've been in this moment since the mid 70s many of the people that I was associated
34:35
with I was the youngest and welcome most of them passed away but I have seen some progress
34:42
if you'd be surprised what's going on behind the scenes of what you don't know
34:48
so don't despair let's take it step by step let's go through the process and work leads
34:54
and I think you'll be astonished at the results you get they have no power and power is in the people as Gandhi
35:00
understood in fact I'm going to giftable an article I wrote about the Gandhi approach where I went into specific detail in my
35:07
flashlight by the Gandhi approach and his thinking and how he came to realize that
35:14
majorities never accomplish anything it's always a small it's a large enough and determined minority doing the right
35:22
thing consistently and going through a process so remember it's not a Sprint it is a
35:28
process thank you I'll let you know I've talked to Ben like moment a couple of times but
35:35
we've never met I appreciate your comments again
35:41
you mentioned if I can you don't have to answer this you mentioned that there are
35:46
things going on behind the scenes I I too know some people um
35:51
uh in the military and elsewhere and uh I hear this quite a struggle going on
35:59
say within the military and uh in places like the CIA and some
36:06
of the other intelligence agencies some we know about some we don't even know about
36:11
and that there's a struggle going on and there are those uh two schools of thought there were those
36:17
who are saying look we've got a constitution here we've got to abide by this and there are others who are saying
36:23
but you know we're only here to take orders and there is this
36:28
dispute and is this struggle going on within many of these uh communities you
36:35
don't have to answer but maybe a little nod or something is this what you're referring to when something going on behind the scenes Hartley okay
36:42
all right so Ron has some made some suggestions
36:49
um Ron you want to lead us through this or what yeah I certainly can uh by the way
36:54
delegates those who wish to be considered and want to be Nomine want to
36:59
nominate yourself that's fine or if you want to nominate somebody else all I need is on that yellow pad going around
37:05
is the printed so I can read it contact
37:11
information and just a little bit about that person so that we might contact
37:16
them for more information but I've already heard from some people
37:21
here today that I think would make some fine delegates and I think this is an excellent idea I have not intended to do
37:27
this by the way but come out and Ron thank you for this suggestion coming out of each one of these meetings around the
37:32
country uh with nominations right from the floor excellent good thank you yes
37:37
join Meeker all right I don't know I know you all want to get going to this voting I know y'all want
37:44
to get going on this but Bart and I are not from around here and um
37:49
when you first started that I think needs to be addressed and I
37:56
don't know where to go with it um when you said on January 20th
38:03
things are going to change because of all the repercussions that are going to happen if this man is sworn into office
38:11
is there anything we can do between now and then
38:16
to be effective in any way all right so that's novice I can answer that but
38:21
before I do this so there's no misunderstanding I I didn't say things are going to change
38:26
what I did say a change may come but what I did say was that
38:33
um if he is a usurper and all the evidence suggests he is usurping power here that
38:39
he's not eligible constitutionally speaking he doesn't satisfy the eligibility criteria
38:45
then you have someone who is not a Bonafide it's not you know
38:51
he's a user he's a proser he's an imposter a fake
38:56
and as such what's what appointments uh
39:03
does he make that are not void what laws can Congress passively possibly pass
39:09
maybe that's a good thing um and and so forth so there are these
39:15
consequences that can befall adverse consequences
39:20
that can befall the country clearly now you say what can we do
39:26
um the way the Electoral College works is this when you vote in November you don't vote
39:33
for Mr Obama you vote for his Delica for his electives
39:39
and so like in New York there are 51 a 31 electors in California is 55 and so
39:45
forth those are now his electors the state electors and on December 1st the
39:52
governors certify them and then on December 15th which has
39:57
happened they all cast their votes and I assume they've all casted their votes for Mr Obama even though we as an
40:05
organization sent a package to every one of them and other people did the same they contacted these people and said
40:12
look how could you do this we said we were very strong in our language we said in light of here's a
40:19
bulk copy of a birth certificate from somebody born two years after Mr Obama in Hawaii and this is what his first
40:26
vote certificate looks like see all the signatures in the name of the hospital see all that now here's what Mr Obama
40:32
put on his website and which was uh certified to by fact check which is uh
40:40
part of the Annenberg it's an arm of Edinburg and all of that is problems okay so there's a question of of
40:46
conflict of interesting but another event is certainly not evidence of his eligibility and and uh and we said if
40:53
you and and all of these requests he's denied every request to prove his
40:58
eligibility if you as a state elector vote for this man you're committing the trees into the Constitution okay so it
41:05
didn't make any difference they all voted right the next step is on January 6th there's a joint session of the house
41:10
and the Senate um and to count the votes and all it takes is one member of the
41:18
House one or more and one member not over but and one member of the Senate to object
41:26
then that joint session has to collapse they have to go back to their respective Chambers and that they have to
41:33
deliberate and do whatever they're going to do based on those objections okay
41:38
um let's say that they count the votes and they're all for Mr Obama then he's
41:43
sworn in on the 20th so you ask what you can do you can encourage one member of
41:48
the House in the Senate but there are a lot of people contacting them already pointing this out and asking them to
41:55
State their objections and here's why and so forth I just think everybody is so fearful of what you know the Supreme
42:01
Court stepped in in 2000 took a lot of heat for doing that uh there's a huge
42:07
number of people in this country who feel that the 5-4 vote in the uh House of the Supreme Court stole the election
42:15
from Galore and gave it to Bush and then we had a similar situation arrive in 2004 where that uh Mr Bush's uh Victory
42:24
there was a quite question and so I think there's just a general of oh my
42:29
God we can't do that again and in fact I think there's a real fear that if Mr Obama you know got the popular vote that
42:35
it was taken away for some reason that they would be real turmoil in the streets and so forth
42:40
um anyway so I I just think they're afraid to overturn the will of the 65 million people and it's got to be
42:46
difficult so I've just assumed we try we've built the record we petition them directly other people have petitioned
42:52
the Judiciary no response the the behavior of the courts on this issue is
42:57
reprehensible no question but it's all part of the record so I would say you know as far as what
43:03
you could do you've got this January 6th date coming up right away now I guess uh you can do what you can do there but uh
43:10
and maybe it'll happen I don't know uh you're from Iowa one of our meeting when you go home
43:16
tomorrow one of our meetings you'll see on our schedule is in Des Moines move to Northwest Iowa uh for my
43:23
um check and see if somebody has stepped forward yet to just to get a value and do some of the groundwork in
43:30
anticipation of the trip but check the schedule and step up and volunteer if DB
43:37
okay yeah okay I'm gonna um step outside for a minute with Ben
43:44
I've got something to do with him I'll be gone for a little while 10 minutes five minutes so carry on with what
