Using the Organizer to Transfer Calendars Between Projects - MS Project
Use the Organizer in MS Project to transfer elements such as calendars, views, fields and tables between project files and templates. It is likely that you format the Gantt Chart a little differently and make changes to the calendar to reflect the working hours of your project. If you create project plans regularly, you have to do this each time, or you copy from a previous project. Fortunately MS Project has the Organizer. This brilliant tool allows you to transfer calendars, views, tables, macros, fields and so on between project files and templates. By doing this they can easily be re-applied in other project files. In this video tutorial, we look at using the Organizer to copy a calendar that we created, and a view that we created, from the current project file to another file. We also copied them to the default Project template called Global.MPT.
