Sort Excel Table by Drop-Down Cell Value | Easy in Excel 365

In this video, we sort a table by the value from a drop-down list. This solution is completely formula driven. This is a nice interactive approach to have users sort the values in a table by a cell value, instead of using the sort buttons available on the Ribbon. The solution sorts both text and numeric values and also uses an IF function to test the selected column sort them in the correct order - ascending or descending.
