Commuters will be relieved to hear that rail unions and operators have reached a deal that could potentially bring an end to long-running national rail strikes

Last week, the Rail Delivery Group and Mick Litch's RMT signed a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement, which, if it's voted on favourably by the RMT's members, could avert strike action over Christmas and, in future, effectively ending the dispute
