So you have your foo-foo squishies, but you want to take them with you
0:03
How about whizzing up one of these super drawstring bags? Really quick, really simple
0:08
Just get a circle, a big dinner plate's great, maybe even a bigger circle
0:12
And then cut two out. You're going to need one in the fabric for the outside and one in the fabric for the inside
0:18
Can be the same, or you can use two contrasting ones. And then put the two together so that the right or the wrong sides are together
0:26
And do two little clips in about a quarter of an inch. about an inch apart and just sew those little flaps down. Then put both circles together with
0:36
the right sides facing and pin all the way round. Sew round except for where you did your little fold
0:43
and then turn the whole thing through to the right side. Press it flat and you'll have that lovely
0:50
circle. Now you're going to stitch all the way around the edge except for where the little flap
0:54
was. And then an inch further in or half an inch further in, depending on your drawstring
1:00
sew all the way round So you going to make a little casing to put a drawstring round And then it time for the drawstring I use a safety pin to put on the end just to feed it through
1:12
All you're going to do is take your cord or your ribbon or whatever you're using, feed it all the way through, all the way around
1:19
and it'll pop out the way it went in. And then cut it to the length you want
1:25
It doesn't matter how much you have, so long as your circle can lie flat and you've still got some poking out, cut it to length and then tie those two ends together
1:37
so they'll never disappear inside your circle. And then it's time to use your drawstring bag
1:44
so you can get your foo-foo squishies, pop them inside, draw it up and take it away with you
1:54
so if you want to take loads of these with you just get a bigger and bigger circle and make a
1:59
bigger and bigger bag you really can do these any size you like and you can use them for anything
2:05
you like I've just found they're great for the fufu squishies so off you go and get making
