1:04
I was going to start first. Yeah, good-bye, Simon. Good evening. In India
1:09
Good evening. Yeah, here in India, it's evening. And good morning, Mahesh
1:13
We're joining us from Philadelphia. And hi, everyone. Welcome back to C-Shap Conot Town Hall episode number three
1:20
Just sometime back we started it. And we are at episode number three
1:24
Hopefully we'll do it like 52 episodes at least, running it at least in year
1:28
So, Bajh, how are you? You look kind of tired. What's up with you
1:34
Yeah, it's terrible. I have a headache today this morning. I went to bed late last night, probably around three, and woke up with a headache
1:43
So I took pills. Still, I need more tea, I think. That's what I need
1:49
Yeah. If there's any feedback that I would like to give you is go to bed a little early
1:56
That's what I would say. Yeah. I know that you know I mean you don't need to tell me everybody knows that
2:03
Can you go now we had some guests here and you know it's you can't just go you want to
2:09
yeah but hopefully everybody join enjoying the Saturday today people joining us from everywhere just welcome to the show
2:19
I think today there's something interesting you want to announce something new today a new idea we're doing
2:25
yeah and it's pretty interesting that we have been doing doing so many live shows and we have hosted like over 300 speakers and all
2:32
But we thought that we actually never had a chance to meet all the people that we had
2:37
So in this town hall and I think going forward, you can actually join the CCHR Corner Town Hall right now
2:44
Exactly right now. Check the comments. We have dropped the links. You click on that link and just you can join the live show
2:52
Just make sure maybe you are on a system or maybe on a laptop maybe even if it's mobile
2:57
Okay, you can join us for a couple of minutes, talk who you are, what you do
3:02
how did you come to know about this live show, and that would be so interesting
3:06
So you can always find the link in the comments, and just feel free to go ahead and pop in
3:10
and we can have a small chat. Yeah, look, just join in guys, come in the studio with hang out with us today
3:18
Today is a, you know, it's like casual Saturday. All right, so everybody who wants to join us in the studio
3:27
click on that link join us and you will be here with us talking to us live yeah make sure you
3:33
are wearing clothes and you are not in bathrooms and all those things keep in mind you are decent
3:38
yeah and there's the music yes um yeah you cannot be in the car with music blasting just join join in
3:49
okay all right simon let's quickly all right let's get to the business yeah all right so
3:53
um the comments is available first we're gonna quickly talk about the ladies
3:57
news that we have, as you know, we have a section on C-sharp corner that's on news
4:02
C-sharpconnor.com slash news. You can always go there and find latest updates
4:08
And this week, we have quite of interesting updates starting with, April 6th
4:15
I see pretty interesting news, Mahesh, where Microsoft is a leader in 2021 Gardner Magic Quadrant for Cloud AI
4:23
We have seen how rapidly Microsoft has grown in the field of AI
4:27
and there's an ecosystem and how much it is investing. You have now AI capabilities in Office 65, in Azure, in any other Microsoft products that you use
4:37
So what do you think about being a dear in the magic quadrant, Gartner
4:43
Yeah, AI is growing. I think Azure itself is growing a big time
4:47
You know, I'm seeing more and more activity there. We are using some of their products
4:52
They're pretty cool. Yeah, this is definitely growing. There's no surprise there, actually
4:57
Yeah, exactly, exactly. So great improvements on there. And the next one that we have is the interesting update is Google Android's open source project supports Rust
5:10
Now, I don't know much actually about it, but I don't know much about this either, but Lexon, new size itself
5:17
So you are a Rush developer and you want to work on that project
5:22
Makes sense. There you go. You've got to support now. Yeah, exactly
5:26
we have dropped the link in the comments. Cshap.com.com slash news. You can go ahead and check it out
5:32
So there you go. And pretty interesting thing. The next one is Microsoft open sources C shop standardization
5:39
Now, the reason I find this very interesting is in your last
5:43
in your previous show, previous show, we had Bill, who was actually talking about
5:48
on how C shop has gone open source and how more community can go ahead and engage
5:54
And there's more things coming. with open source C-sharp standardizations and that's pretty interesting
6:00
Yeah, I think it's already everything is the C-sharp is open source almost
6:05
Slowly they're not. So that's kind of the direction. Sometimes it takes time to open source everything and I think that's where this is
6:15
It's just taking time but every, you know, library and even internal, you know
6:20
anything else which is not open source probably will be. Yeah, yeah
6:26
And it's pretty challenging to manage open source projects, right? Yeah, it's not as yet it seems
6:32
I know everyone might have tried open source in their project, and it is just somewhere on the internet now
6:39
Having said that, the other one that we have is Microsoft updates at Tripitrafting
6:44
all data is b.net code, all data 8.0.RC. I wonder what is that
6:49
I am not a dot net guy. Yeah, I'm not sure either
6:54
I think there's more news. We'll pass these news for now. Yeah, guys, if you want to get more updates, just check out the news category of C-Shart Corner
7:04
And I try to publish news every day. Something interesting news, we publish that every day
7:10
Yeah, I see every news coming every day. So just takes five minutes from your morning to go ahead and just visit C-sharp Corner
7:19
and you can find all the latest updates. So that a few updates from Amazon and again, a few updates from Microsoft in the feed of
7:26
Java it pretty interesting that Microsoft also does conferences that is related to just focused on Java And we also have some of R MEPs who come from Java background and work extensively on Azure
7:41
So Azure is pretty open source. Mahjah, Microsoft wasn't this way almost like eight, ten years back, right
7:48
They were very much focused on their ecosystem. And we have seen big changes in recent times
7:55
Yeah, and I think their focus really right now is get everybody on more like use their Azure services
8:05
That's the direction they're going. I think developer tools like Visual Studio, C Sharp language, compilers, they are pretty much open source
8:15
All of them are now accepted, you know, maybe a couple of exceptions
8:20
Yeah. But there's the direction it is, right? And the idea, the way things are growing, it looks like, you know, more and more tools are coming
8:30
Goal will be, okay, build the application quickly deploy and cloud and let it run
8:35
That's the kind of direction going. Yeah, exactly, exactly. I think, and definitely it makes sense
8:42
Apart from that, you can always go ahead and check the breaking news that we have
8:46
It's like we have a new category for data science, which certainly launched Q1, first quarter
8:52
of MEPs and hi Mike today thanks thanks for joining he says good morning
8:58
moish sir please don't forget me I'm there in the live show too
9:02
all right we should get you he's live in the live show is behind the scene now
9:08
no no yeah good evening thank you thank you appreciate it yeah we should get he should get guys so yeah guys today we are
9:17
allowing you to come join us behind the scene and get on the live show
9:22
If you have a camera, you still need camera, right? Yeah, you need camera
9:27
And I think you need, yeah. Well, yeah. So Venkat, good morning
9:33
Thanks for joining us this Saturday. I think it's Saturday. And yeah, let's go
9:38
Let's continue with that. So we'll see and guys, post your comments, anything
9:43
Let us know where you're joining us from. Yeah, get involved. Get involved
9:48
That's the right word. All right. So let's move to that. was the first section where we talked about the latest updates on C-Shark-Connor News
9:56
And let's move to our second segment that is the live shows that we do
10:01
So we do a bunch of live shows. I say we stream eight days in a week, starting from Monday
10:06
That is we do Azure AI show. It's coming off a long time
10:11
So on Monday, we're going to talk about the Azure version machines dedicated for data science
10:17
So Azure has different kind of instances and are one of their best instance that
10:22
they have is a virtual machine just dedicated for data science. It only has some amazing libraries installed
10:29
You don't have to go ahead and sell anything, has great chip use, allows you to go ahead
10:34
and run your models pretty efficiently. What kind of cost you, I must say, but never mind
10:40
It's worth it. So that's happening on Monday. Then we take a break on Tuesday
10:46
You don't have got with growth this week. But on Wednesday, we have AI4.2
10:50
I missed the space. And this week we're going to talk about Python versus R
10:55
Pretty hot topic, just the way people compare React versus Angular. In the field of data science, it is more about Python versus R
11:03
So on Wednesday at 12 noon, we're going to talk about Python versus R
11:08
Then on Thursdays, we're going to have a bit of AI. Amazing show by Hank and Amy
11:14
Cloud Advocates at Microsoft. It's at 1.30 p.m. It's focused more for the European in Asia
11:22
oceanic people so they interview guys from the AI ecosystem and it's pretty pretty fun show
11:29
and on Friday we have good mindset shows and this week we started in the brand new series
11:36
build better software and the next Friday we're going to have the episode number two
11:40
now Mahesh how was your first episode you looked pretty happy in that episode I was just
11:45
watching it back again yeah to build better software is kind of space I am you know I like
11:52
I'm passionate about much fun. Purpose of this series is as a part of growth mindset is focus on things like how do you build better software and better software does not just include writing code
12:08
It's more than just code. It's entire kind of ocean of this whole software development teams
12:17
you know that includes your UIUX your designers your testers your developers architects
12:26
even project managers and everybody in the in the who is building the software so and it's
12:32
pretty open the the show is kind of again open means that people can jump in they can share
12:40
what they're seeing they're doing how to build better software that's kind of our goal around here is
12:46
to talk more of this this topic is not talked a lot because you know companies they have their own
12:54
plan they know what they how they want to do things but nobody openly talks about how to be you
13:00
know combined team there's a lot of talk on the coding right or how to write better code how to write
13:05
this best practice is this and that but when it comes to everything combined
13:12
from your requirements to your testing to your building to your deploying all that this is the kind of whole idea I think this show we will have
13:21
probably 12 episodes the change we may have more or less each episode will focus on
13:29
one part of the software development okay all right all right so yeah that that's
13:37
we had a great audience the other day we I think in in the recent part it was the
13:42
episode that reached maximum audience few fixes we need to increase the font size I think that's what even David and the other audience are saying so
13:50
maybe next time we'll have to go and increase the fun size apart from that we
13:55
also have the rocking the word do you hear some noise or just me I don't hear it
14:03
from my side okay good okay maybe is it's a laptop fan maybe I think so no I hear
14:10
it's fun this good because my my this guy is not capturing it so that's a good thing
14:16
Okay, that's great. So on Saturday, we have Rocking the Curred World with Dotnet
14:22
Dave, he's on episode number 21. He is chasing very fast the AMA series
14:28
So I got to invite more people on the AMA show. So this week, I don't actually remember the guest
14:34
but tuning at 1 p.m. Eastern, that is around 10.30 p.m. ISD
14:39
to just go ahead and drop any questions to the guest. Most probably, I don't remember the guest
14:46
actually but never mind apart from that as you know on Saturdays we do you should
14:51
bring some guests in there maybe Pridip or somebody is available we should get
14:54
somebody jumping in the MVP in the MVP group too so MEP is if you're watching
14:59
feel free to join I not gonna do every time so please go it would be so fine you don know We don know There no rules Rules are there no rules Yeah There is no rules So if you free to join the live show then the link remains this
15:16
It's in the comments too. You just have to click it. It can be with your phone too. It doesn't have to be the best camera
15:22
You just join in and say hi. That's okay. So apart from that, we do this downhalls every Saturday at 7.30 p.m
15:31
ISD and 10m Eastern. So that's it. And before we move to our next section
15:38
a few more announcement that we have is the upcoming conference. We have the Azure Cosmos TV conference coming on April 2021
15:47
It's the first official Azure Cosmos TV conference that's streaming on C Sharp Conner, YouTube channel
15:53
and C Sharp Live. So that's pretty great. So you can just go ahead and visit c.sharpconor.com
15:59
slash events, and you will find that entire deal about the conference. We're also promoting it on social platforms
16:06
Then this month, we also have Global Hiiastroan conference on April 24
16:10
And on the same day, it's pretty interesting. We also have IoT conference. So that's it
16:17
A lot of stuff coming up this month. Yeah, a lot of stuff coming up
16:21
So, yeah, apart from that, Mahesh, what else do we have to talk about
16:26
Well, I have a headache right now. So I don't know what you really want me
16:31
talk about i've taken the bill so hopefully it works but doesn't look like it's working
16:37
so i'm not a happy thing but uh okay before we talk about there some new couple of things right
16:45
we are working on launching a new new section on c sharp corner focused around stratus
16:53
which is a blockchain development using c sharp and dot net um so that we are working actively on
17:01
And I'm sure there's a couple of articles already have promoted there are little old articles on Twitter and there's some people complaining about that too
17:10
So it's fun. We have a first guest. We have a first guest. All right
17:14
Bring it. Bring in your. All right. We see you and I'm going to add. Okay
17:19
So we're going to all right. He is only on audio. All right
17:23
All right, Tiger. We are muted, Vancouver. You can just unmute yourself
17:29
when you're muted just click on that mic button where it says right on the bottom you'll find
17:39
mic button just click on it and then you can unmute yourself and I see in the private
17:46
chats making you have to unmute yourself that's how you can then speak to us all right
17:55
while when we can continue this yeah we can continue wing okay I'm doing I'm doing good
18:04
all right where are you joining us from I'm joining from hydrabide all right welcome welcome
18:12
to the show what's going on there in Hyderabad yeah it's common going so increase cases are
18:21
going to be increased so yes as usual Yeah, the COVID is growing
18:27
That's crazy. That's crazy. Hopefully you are staying safe. So what do you make that do you work in software
18:33
I'm sure you do. Yes, no. I'm in Microsoft certified trainer and I work for Dynamics, CRM, and for Azure Technologies Components
18:45
And I was a solution architect for DynamicCRM and Azure. Awesome. Awesome
18:50
So how do you find now? How do you find these shows? Should we continue doing these
18:55
You think this is just time-washed. We are just chatting. No, no, no
19:01
So I follow your... All the shows, Mahish. From two years, I am following continuously
19:11
especially the Friday shows. Growth Mind, all these things. I got benefits here with your shows and all
19:22
So that's why I started blogging also. I wrote my first blog on a C-sharp Corner and a couple of days back I started my own blog with that inspiration
19:34
That's great. That's great. That's good to hear that. Yep. All right. Well, thanks for stopping by and hopefully we'll see you in every week
19:44
I think what we will do is every week we're going to bring audience in and, you know, they can just stop by and say hi
19:53
All right, man, thank you so much. hopefully you come with the video there you are there you go that's it that's looking good
20:01
but that's cool thanks thanks thanks thanks for your time we'll catch you next week too
20:06
town hall that always open i think we're going to do it more often so thank you so much and yeah
20:11
see you soon bye bye please stay safe yeah you too you too take care and hey it's interesting
20:19
we have we should allow audience to yeah we feel good guys joining we're a few guys joining we're
20:25
move guys waiting the next one i think we have is the puck waiting for us hi dippuk how are you
20:32
yeah good evening son good evening all good evening good evening your plane looks awesome in the
20:37
background thank you did you just buy it no no no last year i visit to puna at vdablu plant
20:47
so that time i clicked this photo all right where are you joining us from deepak right now i'm in
20:53
park in the old nice that's good park is good next time next time hopefully you join us in video
21:01
that's good yeah enjoying your evening okay thank you all right nice thank you thanks for stopping by
21:10
yeah thanks thank you so much so uh this is great hey uh good evening jen i see you all the time
21:19
i see a lot active on c sharp corner uh you are in twitter congey
21:23
I think you won't be sent some prize on CCHR folder. This is good
21:28
This is fun. People are stopping by. Yeah, and you guys can still join in
21:34
The link remains the same. We may move to next news now, but if you want to go ahead and do a couple of minutes
21:41
chat with Mahesh and me. So just join in. It's pretty interesting
21:45
I see a few more people joining in. You can just stay. If you join, just stay back. We will add you in some time
21:50
I don't just leave the stay back. Okay. So we were talking about strategy
21:53
right that they have particular strategies you can add some education content on
21:58
Ctchap corner certifications and maybe some of the other events too yeah yeah
22:05
yeah definitely it's the events coming up we are going to actually bringing a lot
22:11
more content on blockchain that's that's kind of our focus is blockchain
22:16
technology is growing there's going to be some exciting project we're going
22:22
to start working on as well. So there's also going to be a need for blockchain developers
22:26
So if you are interested in learning, learning blockchain, especially in C-sharp and dot net space
22:33
there is going to be some jobs as well And right now as of now we are hiring probably and we are hiring four or five people four five developers who want to learn blockchain C and dot net using Stratus
22:49
So let me know, let us know if you are looking to get into the blockchain space
22:53
We are hiring employees for that. And this is going to continue to grow
22:58
I can see that. There's some projects coming up soon. And I think, which, we are also working
23:05
working with some students and all we may also go ahead and progress on that part
23:10
Yes, so there's going to be more announcement coming up on we are going to do some hackathons
23:17
and some training certifications as well all around blockchain. The reason is that we want to start
23:24
this early. So that's kind of the idea. Okay, that's great. So anyone who wants to keep
23:30
them updated with C-Shap Connor as stratis. I see a lot of
23:34
of activity is happening on Twitter. You can just follow hash C-sharp Corner and I bet you will see what's happening
23:42
about there. So that's great. We are almost like at six minutes left and I think there's a quite good announcement
23:49
happening now and maybe some new updates. Maybe Mike you want to talk about that
23:54
Yeah, I want to bring in that we are making, you know, on C-Sharp Corner
23:58
We are always updating the product. And one of the things we are focusing on right now is the category page, which is like, you know, when you click on a technology, say, see, sharp, you go there, there's a page. And it's also. So you can maybe zoom in. Are you allowed zoom in on here
24:16
It's a PPD, so I wonder. All right. So, yeah, so our goal with this category is if you come to any of those categories, we're going to show you not just the listing of latest articles and videos published or news, publish
24:32
there but now we're going to actually open up and we're going to provide this kind of you can see
24:40
there right there you can live start just asking questions or you can just start posting right
24:45
there from the category or you can also sort by newest and most popular and all that so we will
24:51
be sharing this uh excuse me very soon and then on this we'll also show now all the latest updates on
25:02
we are videos posting or live shows coming focused around that technology and then below
25:08
that you can see there's top people top expert in that category we're going to list them here
25:13
as well and then obviously trending topics will be there but then in the right side if you see
25:22
we are going to launch a learn series for that category so that's right there you click on that
25:26
if somebody comes first time say the angular for example there's you are in c-sharp category you
25:32
you want to learn first time c sharp you click on learn and you can just start learning csharp
25:38
and then there's another feature we're going to launch soon is called challenge take a challenge
25:43
challenge is kind of you know just to test out your knowledge in that specific technology
25:49
that's kind of these are the some of the they should be coming soon actually
25:54
we're going to watch this so hopefully people will enjoy this and get more involved
25:59
Okay, that's pretty interesting. I like the new clean UI. As it comes very obvious from me, I'm pretty interested on that C-sharp live section that we also have
26:10
Whenever it really had live shows content under the category pages, the technology's pages
26:16
So, this would be related to the same category, like Angular, then we'll have Angular live shows or it is coming the latest
26:24
It depends, right? So each, you know, each and every category is not going to have shows
26:29
around there, right? But this would be more like a combination of videos
26:34
recent videos through live, they were submitted. So we don't know their content, what's going to go there
26:42
But the idea is, if somebody is following Angular and there's a new show is going to be there
26:48
then get notification. That's great. Yeah. That's great. So you can just go ahead and follow any technology
26:56
Then you'll get weekly or monthly updates on that too. So that's pretty interesting
27:02
Yeah, I like the new ebooks option too. So if you just follow one category
27:06
you get everything. You get recent posts. You get training articles. You see who are the top contributors
27:11
You can test your knowledge. You can also learn. You can download free ebooks and definitely
27:16
watch some of the past live shows too. So that's a great thing that we're going to bring in the second quarter
27:25
Apart from that, I think that's all we have updates for this
27:29
So we still have around 2 minutes and 30 seconds. And a pretty interesting thing that Mahat is you got a first shot, right
27:36
You got a first COVID shot this week. I did. I did get that
27:42
And now in the U.S., they're also getting J&J. That's just one shot
27:47
I wish I could have got that. But anyway, it's too late now. I got my first shot in second shot
27:53
I get on May 6th, May 12th. So it's a long way to go
27:59
then yeah I can travel I can do whatever yeah lucky you lucky you that you're
28:05
getting shot so but please taste to save I see COVID cases and increasing very
28:12
rapidly in every place here in India Pacific we see more cases coming every day
28:16
