About Session:
Creating real-time collaborative applications can be a tough challenge for us developers, it requires several tools including sockets to push updates on the server and mostly requires application-specific server-side logic in managing the state, and this is where Azure Fluid Relay solves the dilemma, we will discuss the concepts of Azure Fluid Relay on how it can create collaborative applications with no requirements on handling server code.

language that is Uh made by Microsoft
10:53
language that is Uh made by Microsoft itself So um if you want to learn from
10:55
itself So um if you want to learn from
10:55
itself So um if you want to learn from front end frameworks and even backend
10:57
front end frameworks and even backend
10:57
front end frameworks and even backend frameworks like No JS So you are free to
11:01
frameworks like No JS So you are free to

professionals What are the latest
11:25
professionals What are the latest technologies that we have right now and
11:27
technologies that we have right now and
11:27
technologies that we have right now and what are the current standards and um
11:30
what are the current standards and um
11:31
what are the current standards and um what is the usual way of doing or coding
11:33
what is the usual way of doing or coding
11:33
what is the usual way of doing or coding things or building things in the
11:34
things or building things in the
11:35
things or building things in the industry then also I'm actually a former
11:37
industry then also I'm actually a former

community lead of angular Philippines and I'm also an author of a book so my
11:46
and I'm also an author of a book so my
11:46
and I'm also an author of a book so my book is currently out there already so
11:48
book is currently out there already so
11:48
book is currently out there already so it's um entitled angular and Java spring
11:52
it's um entitled angular and Java spring
11:52
it's um entitled angular and Java spring So it azure is Actually um involved
11:55
So it azure is Actually um involved
11:55
So it azure is Actually um involved there So where did we deploy our
11:57
there So where did we deploy our
11:57
there So where did we deploy our application or our example app
11:59
application or our example app
11:59
application or our example app application um our full Stack
12:01
application um our full Stack
12:01
application um our full Stack application which is built by jav and
12:02
application which is built by jav and
12:02
application which is built by jav and angular so we have used um we have used
12:06
angular so we have used um we have used
12:06
angular so we have used um we have used azure for our infrastructure and for our
12:09
azure for our infrastructure and for our
12:09
azure for our infrastructure and for our deployment and right now I'm already
12:11
deployment and right now I'm already
12:11
deployment and right now I'm already writing A New Book which is um for
12:13
writing A New Book which is um for
12:13
writing A New Book which is um for angular and um node so it's actually
12:16
angular and um node so it's actually
12:16
angular and um node so it's actually mean stock so it's mongo express and
12:18
mean stock so it's mongo express and
12:18
mean stock so it's mongo express and angular no So if you want to um get my
12:21
angular no So if you want to um get my

name cjb Franca and you will find it on Amazon So if you want to learn full
12:29
Amazon So if you want to learn full
12:29
Amazon So if you want to learn full Stack um web development so feel free to
12:32
Stack um web development so feel free to
12:32
Stack um web development so feel free to get my Uh book All right so yeah As I
12:36
get my Uh book All right so yeah As I
12:36
get my Uh book All right so yeah As I have mention also a while ago I've been
12:39
have mention also a while ago I've been
12:39
have mention also a while ago I've been involved heavily with communities I've
12:42
involved heavily with communities I've
12:42
involved heavily with communities I've been speaking um for seven years already
12:44
been speaking um for seven years already
12:44

12:55
professionals and right now I'm still a mentor for students who are aspiring to
12:58
mentor for students who are aspiring to
12:58
mentor for students who are aspiring to be developed
12:59
be developed
12:59
be developed so yeah um if you want to reach um to me
13:03
so yeah um if you want to reach um to me
13:03
so yeah um if you want to reach um to me or you want to um if you want to be a

13:21
and I also have my social media links here so you can reach me out easily
13:24
here so you can reach me out easily
13:24
here so you can reach me out easily right Okay so yeah enough about me um
13:27
right Okay so yeah enough about me um
13:27
right Okay so yeah enough about me um let's go or move on to our topic right
13:29
let's go or move on to our topic right
13:29
let's go or move on to our topic right now so my topic for today is azure fluid
13:33
now so my topic for today is azure fluid
13:33
now so my topic for today is azure fluid relay so as I have mentioned a while ago
13:35
relay so as I have mentioned a while ago
13:35
relay so as I have mentioned a while ago again I am pretty sure that most of the
13:37
again I am pretty sure that most of the
13:38
again I am pretty sure that most of the people who are watching right right now
13:39
people who are watching right right now
13:39
people who are watching right right now Are Not really Familiar What azure fluid
13:41
Are Not really Familiar What azure fluid
13:41
Are Not really Familiar What azure fluid really is um there are a lot of famous
13:44
really is um there are a lot of famous
13:44
really is um there are a lot of famous and um um really popular frameworks or
13:48
and um um really popular frameworks or
13:48
and um um really popular frameworks or even tools that are available in
13:50
even tools that are available in
13:50
even tools that are available in building realtime collaboration apps and
13:53
building realtime collaboration apps and
13:53
building realtime collaboration apps and one of this are signal R why Because Of
13:55
one of this are signal R why Because Of
13:55
one of this are signal R why Because Of Its um because of the features that it's
13:58
Its um because of the features that it's
13:58
Its um because of the features that it's offering because of its um flexibility
14:01
offering because of its um flexibility
14:01
offering because of its um flexibility So this are the tools that you are might
14:03
So this are the tools that you are might
14:03
So this are the tools that you are might familiar with but there's Actually
14:05
familiar with but there's Actually
14:05
familiar with but there's Actually another tool that Microsoft is heavily
14:07
another tool that Microsoft is heavily
14:08
another tool that Microsoft is heavily being used or heavily using in the
14:10
being used or heavily using in the
14:10
being used or heavily using in the developing real-time collaboration and
14:12
developing real-time collaboration and
14:12
developing real-time collaboration and this is named azure fluid relay so Okay
14:16
this is named azure fluid relay so Okay
14:16
this is named azure fluid relay so Okay so if I told you or if I tell you you
14:19
so if I told you or if I tell you you
14:19
so if I told you or if I tell you you use azure fluid relay that means that I
14:21
use azure fluid relay that means that I
14:21
use azure fluid relay that means that I want a real-time collaboration app this
14:24
want a real-time collaboration app this
14:24
want a real-time collaboration app this means that if there are several users
14:27
means that if there are several users
14:27
means that if there are several users that are connected to your app
14:30
that are connected to your app
14:30
that are connected to your app So if one user gives updates to that
14:32
So if one user gives updates to that
14:32
So if one user gives updates to that several apps then all of the users that
14:35
several apps then all of the users that
14:35
several apps then all of the users that are connected to it should be updated
14:37
are connected to it should be updated
14:37
are connected to it should be updated real time right so we want some realtime
14:40
real time right so we want some realtime
14:40
real time right so we want some realtime updates we have seamless data flow and
14:44
updates we have seamless data flow and
14:44
updates we have seamless data flow and we want our data to be given real time
14:47
we want our data to be given real time
14:47
we want our data to be given real time to other users so right So if we think
14:50
to other users so right So if we think
14:50
to other users so right So if we think or if i for example I am your client and
14:53
or if i for example I am your client and
14:53
or if i for example I am your client and I told you that Okay I want a realtime
14:55
I told you that Okay I want a realtime
14:55
I told you that Okay I want a realtime collaboration application please um
14:58
collaboration application please um
14:58
collaboration application please um build or devel an application that has a
15:01
build or devel an application that has a
15:01
build or devel an application that has a seamless data flow and gives a realtime
15:04
seamless data flow and gives a realtime
15:04
seamless data flow and gives a realtime updates to other users that are
15:05
updates to other users that are
15:05
updates to other users that are connected to your app so the first thing
15:08
connected to your app so the first thing
15:08
connected to your app so the first thing that you will think of is the tools that
15:10
that you will think of is the tools that
15:10
that you will think of is the tools that you know and this is the common way of
15:12
you know and this is the common way of
15:12
you know and this is the common way of actually doing it or how to build or
15:14
actually doing it or how to build or
15:14
actually doing it or how to build or implement realtime collaboration
15:17
implement realtime collaboration
15:17
implement realtime collaboration applications Oops sorry about
15:21
applications Oops sorry about
15:21
applications Oops sorry about that
15:26
skip so the common way
15:29
skip so the common way
15:30
skip so the common way Is You should handle both the front end
15:33
Is You should handle both the front end
15:33
Is You should handle both the front end and the back end code so for example You
15:35
and the back end code so for example You
15:35
and the back end code so for example You are a full Stack application So you will
15:37
are a full Stack application So you will
15:37
are a full Stack application So you will need to set up the logic for both the
15:39
need to set up the logic for both the
15:39
need to set up the logic for both the back end and the front end So you will
15:41
back end and the front end So you will
15:41
back end and the front end So you will create your client web app you will have
15:44
create your client web app you will have
15:44
create your client web app you will have the service to give updates and at the
15:46
the service to give updates and at the
15:46
the service to give updates and at the same time send the updates to the
15:50
same time send the updates to the
15:50
same time send the updates to the users and you have the storage to just
15:54
users and you have the storage to just
15:54
users and you have the storage to just Store the data that are being updated so
15:56
Store the data that are being updated so
15:56
Store the data that are being updated so example um your database your sql or my
16:00
example um your database your sql or my
16:00
example um your database your sql or my sql then These are the factors that you
16:04
sql then These are the factors that you
16:04
sql then These are the factors that you need to consider so we have the handling
16:06
need to consider so we have the handling
16:06
need to consider so we have the handling updates the merge update conflicts and
16:09
updates the merge update conflicts and
16:09
updates the merge update conflicts and the receiving the updates in the
16:12
the receiving the updates in the
16:12
the receiving the updates in the client and for your services you can use
16:16
client and for your services you can use
16:16
client and for your services you can use websockets like socket.io and one of the
16:20
websockets like socket.io and one of the
16:20
websockets like socket.io and one of the famous um tools that we have right now
16:22
famous um tools that we have right now
16:22
famous um tools that we have right now for realtime collaboration is signal R
16:25
for realtime collaboration is signal R
16:25
for realtime collaboration is signal R so in this case if you are building an
16:28
so in this case if you are building an
16:28
so in this case if you are building an application So you will have to consider
16:30
application So you will have to consider
16:30
application So you will have to consider all of this situation so your client web
16:33
all of this situation so your client web
16:33
all of this situation so your client web app it needs to handle the updates it
16:35
app it needs to handle the updates it
16:35
app it needs to handle the updates it needs to get the updates also from the
16:37
needs to get the updates also from the
16:37
needs to get the updates also from the clients and it needs also to send this
16:40
clients and it needs also to send this
16:40
clients and it needs also to send this data to to the services and the services
16:43
data to to the services and the services
16:43
data to to the services and the services is just like the waiter which handles
16:46
is just like the waiter which handles
16:46
is just like the waiter which handles all of these updates updating like
16:49
all of these updates updating like
16:49
all of these updates updating like updating the storage and at the same
16:51
updating the storage and at the same
16:51
updating the storage and at the same time sending or triggering that updates
16:53
time sending or triggering that updates
16:53
time sending or triggering that updates going back to the client So this is like
16:57
going back to the client So this is like
16:57
going back to the client So this is like worrying on both side of your
16:59
worrying on both side of your
16:59
worrying on both side of your application so There's a logic on the
17:01
application so There's a logic on the
17:01
application so There's a logic on the backend And there's a logic on the front
17:04
backend And there's a logic on the front
17:04
backend And there's a logic on the front end right
17:06
end right
17:06
end right So if you think of building a realtime
17:10
So if you think of building a realtime
17:11
So if you think of building a realtime collaboration app Maybe This is your
17:13
collaboration app Maybe This is your
17:13
collaboration app Maybe This is your current mood and it's like oh this is
17:16
current mood and it's like oh this is
17:16
current mood and it's like oh this is very hard and this is very complex and
17:18
very hard and this is very complex and
17:18
very hard and this is very complex and there's a lot of things to worry And
17:20
there's a lot of things to worry And
17:20
there's a lot of things to worry And there's a lot of logic happening in a
17:22
there's a lot of logic happening in a
17:22
there's a lot of logic happening in a real time collaboration app So um how
17:25
real time collaboration app So um how
17:25
real time collaboration app So um how can azure fluid relay help you reduce
17:28
can azure fluid relay help you reduce
17:28
can azure fluid relay help you reduce the logic or the wor worried in building
17:31
the logic or the wor worried in building
17:31
the logic or the wor worried in building your
17:32
your
17:32
your application Okay so the previous diagram
17:35
application Okay so the previous diagram
17:36
application Okay so the previous diagram or the the previous flow that I have
17:38
or the the previous flow that I have
17:38
or the the previous flow that I have shown you a while ago is the common way
17:39
shown you a while ago is the common way
17:39
shown you a while ago is the common way that How We build or how we develop our
17:42
that How We build or how we develop our
17:42
that How We build or how we develop our realtime collaboration app and what if
17:45
realtime collaboration app and what if
17:45
realtime collaboration app and what if we used fluid relay or azure fluid in
17:48
we used fluid relay or azure fluid in
17:49
we used fluid relay or azure fluid in building our realtime applications So
17:51
building our realtime applications So
17:51
building our realtime applications So how does it reduce or how does it Make
17:53
how does it reduce or how does it Make
17:53
how does it reduce or how does it Make it easier in building our
17:57
it easier in building our
17:57
it easier in building our application so still we have our client
18:00
application so still we have our client
18:00
application so still we have our client web app We still have our
18:03
web app We still have our
18:03
web app We still have our service and still we still um We still
18:06
service and still we still um We still
18:06
service and still we still um We still have our storage or We still have our
18:07
have our storage or We still have our
18:07
have our storage or We still have our database It's still the same we still
18:11
database It's still the same we still
18:11
database It's still the same we still need to have this components or this
18:13
need to have this components or this
18:13
need to have this components or this services for us to enable um to build or
18:16
services for us to enable um to build or
18:16
services for us to enable um to build or develop our realtime collaboration app
18:19
develop our realtime collaboration app
18:19
develop our realtime collaboration app but when azure fluid relay comes into
18:21
but when azure fluid relay comes into
18:21
but when azure fluid relay comes into our picture so This is what we going to
18:26
our picture so This is what we going to
18:26
our picture so This is what we going to change So the service part and the
18:29
change So the service part and the
18:29
change So the service part and the Storage Part will now Be totally handled
18:31
Storage Part will now Be totally handled
18:31
Storage Part will now Be totally handled by azure fluid relay so in the common
18:34
by azure fluid relay so in the common
18:34
by azure fluid relay so in the common way just by going back on what we are
18:36
way just by going back on what we are
18:36
way just by going back on what we are doing we are Actually worrying about the
18:39
doing we are Actually worrying about the
18:39
doing we are Actually worrying about the code or the logic inside the service and
18:41
code or the logic inside the service and
18:42
code or the logic inside the service and the storage at the same time we are also
18:44
the storage at the same time we are also
18:44
the storage at the same time we are also worrying about the code and the logic
18:46
worrying about the code and the logic
18:46
worrying about the code and the logic Inside our front end or also as or also
18:49
Inside our front end or also as or also
18:49
Inside our front end or also as or also what we called as our client web app but
18:52
what we called as our client web app but
18:52
what we called as our client web app but when azure fluid relay is in our hands
18:55
when azure fluid relay is in our hands
18:55
when azure fluid relay is in our hands or is in our one of our tools So it now
18:58
or is in our one of our tools So it now
18:58
or is in our one of our tools So it now Just hand the service and the storage So
19:00
Just hand the service and the storage So
19:00
Just hand the service and the storage So it now this now omitting the worry um
19:04
it now this now omitting the worry um
19:04
it now this now omitting the worry um your part of worrying about the service
19:06
your part of worrying about the service
19:06
your part of worrying about the service and the storage So basically you will
19:08
and the storage So basically you will
19:08
and the storage So basically you will not worry about the logic or the code of
19:11
not worry about the logic or the code of
19:11
not worry about the logic or the code of the back end and the only thing you need
19:14
the back end and the only thing you need
19:14
the back end and the only thing you need to worry is the setup of your front end
19:16
to worry is the setup of your front end
19:16
to worry is the setup of your front end so yeah think of it How does that work
19:19
so yeah think of it How does that work
19:19
so yeah think of it How does that work How does that azure fluid relay um how
19:22
How does that azure fluid relay um how
19:22
How does that azure fluid relay um how how is azure fluid really doing this
19:24
how is azure fluid really doing this
19:24
how is azure fluid really doing this kind of stuff so it's like your partner
19:26
kind of stuff so it's like your partner
19:26
kind of stuff so it's like your partner already right So you're now just the
19:28
already right So you're now just the
19:28
already right So you're now just the front and developer and azure fluid
19:30
front and developer and azure fluid
19:30
front and developer and azure fluid relay will be the backend developer
19:32
relay will be the backend developer
19:32
relay will be the backend developer worrying about the things that the
19:34
worrying about the things that the
19:34
worrying about the things that the backend should do for example in um
19:36
backend should do for example in um
19:36
backend should do for example in um updating your um data when a user is
19:40
updating your um data when a user is
19:40
updating your um data when a user is sending an update so all of that are now
19:43
sending an update so all of that are now
19:43
sending an update so all of that are now the responsibility of azure fluid
19:46
the responsibility of azure fluid
19:46
the responsibility of azure fluid relay Okay
19:48
relay Okay
19:48
relay Okay so if you think of it if you are now
19:51
so if you think of it if you are now
19:51
so if you think of it if you are now imagining it if you're building a
19:53
imagining it if you're building a
19:53
imagining it if you're building a realtime collaboration app um It's like
19:56
realtime collaboration app um It's like
19:56
realtime collaboration app um It's like Okay asure fluid Really it's much It's
19:58
Okay asure fluid Really it's much It's
19:58
Okay asure fluid Really it's much It's much better because I don't need to
20:00
much better because I don't need to
20:00
much better because I don't need to worry about the back end code and I just
20:02
worry about the back end code and I just
20:03
worry about the back end code and I just need to worry about the front end so the
20:05
need to worry about the front end so the
20:05
need to worry about the front end so the services and the storage and the
20:06
services and the storage and the
20:06
services and the storage and the database it's it's not on my hands
20:09
database it's it's not on my hands
20:09
database it's it's not on my hands anymore and I don't need to I I don't
20:11
anymore and I don't need to I I don't
20:11
anymore and I don't need to I I don't need to care about it anymore it's just
20:13
need to care about it anymore it's just
20:13
need to care about it anymore it's just about the setup of the frontend So how
20:16
about the setup of the frontend So how
20:16
about the setup of the frontend So how does azure fluid relay does that so
20:18
does azure fluid relay does that so
20:18
does azure fluid relay does that so let's go back on how azure fluid relay
20:21
let's go back on how azure fluid relay
20:21
let's go back on how azure fluid relay is built or how azure fluid relay is
20:23
is built or how azure fluid relay is
20:23
is built or how azure fluid relay is developed so azure fluid relay so it's
20:26
developed so azure fluid relay so it's
20:26
developed so azure fluid relay so it's just a service being provided by azure
20:28
just a service being provided by azure
20:28
just a service being provided by azure but under the hood azure fluid relay
20:30
but under the hood azure fluid relay
20:30
but under the hood azure fluid relay they are also using a framework which is
20:32
they are also using a framework which is
20:32
they are also using a framework which is called fluid so fluid framework this
20:35
called fluid so fluid framework this
20:35
called fluid so fluid framework this allow developers build realtime
20:37
allow developers build realtime
20:37
allow developers build realtime collaborative experiences and it allows
20:40
collaborative experiences and it allows
20:40
collaborative experiences and it allows multiple clients to create and operate
20:42
multiple clients to create and operate
20:42
multiple clients to create and operate shared data structures so azure fluid
20:46
shared data structures so azure fluid
20:46
shared data structures so azure fluid relay itself or fluid framework itself
20:48
relay itself or fluid framework itself
20:48
relay itself or fluid framework itself it stores data in terms of data
20:51
it stores data in terms of data
20:52
it stores data in terms of data structures that you are trying to use so
20:54
structures that you are trying to use so
20:55
structures that you are trying to use so there are different ways on how to Store
20:56
there are different ways on how to Store
20:56
there are different ways on how to Store data in fluid so It's acting like a
20:59
data in fluid so It's acting like a
20:59
data in fluid so It's acting like a backend and database at the same time so
21:02
backend and database at the same time so
21:02
backend and database at the same time so Later on you will see on how azure fluid
21:04
Later on you will see on how azure fluid
21:04
Later on you will see on how azure fluid relay stores data and at the same time
21:07
relay stores data and at the same time
21:07
relay stores data and at the same time how it handles realtime collaborative or
21:09
how it handles realtime collaborative or
21:09
how it handles realtime collaborative or realtime events in our
21:12
realtime events in our
21:12
realtime events in our server Okay so Why fluid It's very low
21:17
server Okay so Why fluid It's very low
21:17
server Okay so Why fluid It's very low latency so for example if you are trying
21:20
latency so for example if you are trying
21:20
latency so for example if you are trying to have realtime updates so the the
21:23
to have realtime updates so the the
21:23
to have realtime updates so the the latency is very low and it's almost like
21:26
latency is very low and it's almost like
21:26
latency is very low and it's almost like very real time so the the latency is
21:29
very real time so the the latency is
21:29
very real time so the the latency is very short compared to other frameworks
21:31
very short compared to other frameworks
21:31
very short compared to other frameworks that we
21:32
that we
21:32
that we have It's a client centric application
21:34
have It's a client centric application
21:34
have It's a client centric application model So what does that mean So this is
21:36
model So what does that mean So this is
21:37
model So what does that mean So this is Actually pertaining for the description
21:39
Actually pertaining for the description
21:39
Actually pertaining for the description or for the things that I have said a
21:41
or for the things that I have said a
21:41
or for the things that I have said a while ago so we are always or we are
21:44
while ago so we are always or we are
21:44
while ago so we are always or we are only worrying about the front end
21:45
only worrying about the front end
21:45
only worrying about the front end already so the back end We don't care
21:48
already so the back end We don't care
21:48
already so the back end We don't care about it anymore it's just about the
21:50
about it anymore it's just about the
21:50
about it anymore it's just about the configuration of the back end and if you
21:52
configuration of the back end and if you
21:52
configuration of the back end and if you already have azure fluid relay running
21:55
already have azure fluid relay running
21:55
already have azure fluid relay running up on our Server on our remote Cloud
21:57
up on our Server on our remote Cloud
21:57
up on our Server on our remote Cloud it's already there and it's already
21:59
it's already there and it's already
21:59
it's already there and it's already ready to used and we just we we just
22:01
ready to used and we just we we just
22:01
ready to used and we just we we just need to set up or configure our front
22:03
need to set up or configure our front
22:03
need to set up or configure our front end to consume or to connect to our
22:06
end to consume or to connect to our
22:06
end to consume or to connect to our azure fluid relay so we are always focus
22:09
azure fluid relay so we are always focus
22:09
azure fluid relay so we are always focus on building our client or front-end
22:13
on building our client or front-end
22:13
on building our client or front-end applications and it's using distributed
22:15
applications and it's using distributed
22:15
applications and it's using distributed data structures so we have the
22:18
data structures so we have the
22:18
data structures so we have the capability to select What data struct
22:21
capability to select What data struct
22:21
capability to select What data struct data structure um We are going to use in
22:24
data structure um We are going to use in
22:24
data structure um We are going to use in order for our data or In order for um
22:27
order for our data or In order for um
22:27
order for our data or In order for um our how data is being stored in azure
22:30
our how data is being stored in azure
22:30
our how data is being stored in azure fluid relay so for example you want to
22:32
fluid relay so for example you want to
22:32
fluid relay so for example you want to Store it like a shared map a shared tree
22:35
Store it like a shared map a shared tree
22:35
Store it like a shared map a shared tree or just a string so we are free to
22:38
or just a string so we are free to
22:38
or just a string so we are free to choose whatever We want um or what data
22:41
choose whatever We want um or what data
22:41
choose whatever We want um or what data structures We want on how we want to
22:43
structures We want on how we want to
22:43
structures We want on how we want to Store our data in our fluid relay Okay
22:48
Store our data in our fluid relay Okay
22:48
Store our data in our fluid relay Okay so as I have mentioned again a while ago
22:50
so as I have mentioned again a while ago
22:50
so as I have mentioned again a while ago So you will see a lot of this statement
22:52
So you will see a lot of this statement
22:52
So you will see a lot of this statement It's always focus on the client
22:54
It's always focus on the client
22:54
It's always focus on the client developer so we are just like the
22:56
developer so we are just like the
22:56
developer so we are just like the frontend developers right um when we are
22:58
frontend developers right um when we are
22:58
frontend developers right um when we are using azure fluid relay so fluid relay
23:01
using azure fluid relay so fluid relay
23:01
using azure fluid relay so fluid relay will now handle all of our backend
23:03
will now handle all of our backend
23:03
will now handle all of our backend problems so so fluid handles the server
23:06
problems so so fluid handles the server
23:06
problems so so fluid handles the server logic for this one so it's focus on the
23:11
logic for this one so it's focus on the
23:11
logic for this one so it's focus on the client developer so it's actually zero
23:13
client developer so it's actually zero
23:13
client developer so it's actually zero custom code on the server so yeah um
23:16
custom code on the server so yeah um
23:16
custom code on the server so yeah um think of it It's like this is the first
23:18
think of it It's like this is the first
23:18
think of it It's like this is the first question that you have You are now
23:19
question that you have You are now
23:19
question that you have You are now having on your mind CG How does that
23:21
having on your mind CG How does that
23:21
having on your mind CG How does that happen we we always need to have logic
23:23
happen we we always need to have logic
23:23
happen we we always need to have logic on our um back end we we need to have a
23:26
on our um back end we we need to have a
23:26
on our um back end we we need to have a handshake we need to create a connection
23:29
handshake we need to create a connection
23:29
handshake we need to create a connection if we want to have real-time
23:30
if we want to have real-time
23:30
if we want to have real-time collaborative apps So how does azure
23:33
collaborative apps So how does azure
23:33
collaborative apps So how does azure fluid relay does that so Later on we
23:35
fluid relay does that so Later on we
23:35
fluid relay does that so Later on we will um We will Uh We will discover or I
23:39
will um We will Uh We will discover or I
23:39
will um We will Uh We will discover or I will show you on how this azure fluid
23:41
will show you on how this azure fluid
23:41
will show you on how this azure fluid relay is maintaining this real-time
23:45
relay is maintaining this real-time
23:45
relay is maintaining this real-time collaborative
23:46
collaborative
23:46
collaborative applications right so it's responsible
23:49
applications right so it's responsible
23:50
applications right so it's responsible for the taking in data operations
23:52
for the taking in data operations
23:52
for the taking in data operations sequencing operations and returning the
23:55
sequencing operations and returning the
23:55
sequencing operations and returning the sequence operations to the client so for
23:57
sequence operations to the client so for
23:57
sequence operations to the client so for the signal R users It's like These are
23:59
the signal R users It's like These are
23:59
the signal R users It's like These are the things that we are trying to um
24:02
the things that we are trying to um
24:02
the things that we are trying to um worry right or trying to develop so
24:03
worry right or trying to develop so
24:03
worry right or trying to develop so These are the most important factors
24:05
These are the most important factors
24:06
These are the most important factors when we want to create real-time
24:07
when we want to create real-time
24:07
when we want to create real-time collaborative
24:09
collaborative
24:09
collaborative apps right so yeah I'm pretty sure that
24:13
apps right so yeah I'm pretty sure that
24:13
apps right so yeah I'm pretty sure that you are already um curious on how azure
24:17
you are already um curious on how azure
24:17
you are already um curious on how azure fluid relay works and how does it
24:19
fluid relay works and how does it
24:19
fluid relay works and how does it handles real-time collaboration apps
24:21
handles real-time collaboration apps
24:21
handles real-time collaboration apps without building any backend application
24:24
without building any backend application
24:24
without building any backend application or we not even um not even creating
24:26
or we not even um not even creating
24:26
or we not even um not even creating logic for your backend so So okay So how
24:30
logic for your backend so So okay So how
24:30
logic for your backend so So okay So how this fluid works so step one for example
24:32
this fluid works so step one for example
24:32
this fluid works so step one for example we are using a dice roller app or we are
24:34
we are using a dice roller app or we are
24:34
we are using a dice roller app or we are building a dice roller app so FYI guys
24:37
building a dice roller app so FYI guys
24:37
building a dice roller app so FYI guys and the dice roller app this is Actually
24:39
and the dice roller app this is Actually
24:39
and the dice roller app this is Actually from the example of Microsoft so it's a
24:42
from the example of Microsoft so it's a
24:42
from the example of Microsoft so it's a dice roller app So if you want to roll
24:44
dice roller app So if you want to roll
24:44
dice roller app So if you want to roll the dice or If one user Rolls the dice
24:47
the dice or If one user Rolls the dice
24:47
the dice or If one user Rolls the dice and if other users are also connected to
24:50
and if other users are also connected to
24:50
and if other users are also connected to a specific hash or to that um
24:52
a specific hash or to that um
24:52
a specific hash or to that um application or the dice roller app so
24:54
application or the dice roller app so
24:54
application or the dice roller app so they will see the updates or the Current
24:58
they will see the updates or the Current
24:58
they will see the updates or the Current value of the dice um realtime So this is
25:01
value of the dice um realtime So this is
25:01
value of the dice um realtime So this is one of um the basic examples that
25:04
one of um the basic examples that
25:04
one of um the basic examples that Microsoft has provided so for example I
25:06
Microsoft has provided so for example I
25:06
Microsoft has provided so for example I roll the dice and it's two so It will be
25:09
roll the dice and it's two so It will be
25:09
roll the dice and it's two so It will be updated real time to the other connected
25:11
updated real time to the other connected
25:11
updated real time to the other connected users So this is an Actually a great
25:14
users So this is an Actually a great
25:14
users So this is an Actually a great example for us to understand that how
25:16
example for us to understand that how
25:16
example for us to understand that how this azure fluid really works so step
25:19
this azure fluid really works so step
25:19
this azure fluid really works so step one so the client code changes the data
25:22
one so the client code changes the data
25:22
one so the client code changes the data locally so it's just a simple web
25:24
locally so it's just a simple web
25:24
locally so it's just a simple web application for example um in my case
25:27
application for example um in my case
25:27
application for example um in my case I'm the first user I just roll the dice
25:29
I'm the first user I just roll the dice
25:29
I'm the first user I just roll the dice and basically it it will just call a
25:32
and basically it it will just call a
25:32
and basically it it will just call a function update dice for example um from
25:35
function update dice for example um from
25:35
function update dice for example um from the snippet of code that you can see
25:37
the snippet of code that you can see
25:37
the snippet of code that you can see here below Uh in my screen or in my
25:39
here below Uh in my screen or in my
25:39
here below Uh in my screen or in my presentation so the update dice it will
25:42
presentation so the update dice it will
25:42
presentation so the update dice it will just get a random um a random number or
25:45
just get a random um a random number or
25:45
just get a random um a random number or random um value from 1 to six and it
25:49
random um value from 1 to six and it
25:49
random um value from 1 to six and it will update the dice value And it will
25:51
will update the dice value And it will
25:51
will update the dice value And it will update the text for the display and it
25:54
update the text for the display and it
25:54
update the text for the display and it will just update the color So this is
25:55
will just update the color So this is
25:55
will just update the color So this is basically just a simple JavaScript guys
25:57
basically just a simple JavaScript guys
25:57
basically just a simple JavaScript guys I'm not using any framework um react
26:00
I'm not using any framework um react
26:00
I'm not using any framework um react angular review So this is just basic um
26:02
angular review So this is just basic um
26:02
angular review So this is just basic um JavaScript so I roll the dice it updates
26:06
JavaScript so I roll the dice it updates
26:06
JavaScript so I roll the dice it updates on my end So I will see the current
26:09
on my end So I will see the current
26:09
on my end So I will see the current value for example from one um it was
26:12
value for example from one um it was
26:12
value for example from one um it was updated from 1 to 3 So this is a step
26:16
updated from 1 to 3 So this is a step
26:16
updated from 1 to 3 So this is a step one so step two so the first one it's
26:21
one so step two so the first one it's
26:21
one so step two so the first one it's only a change in our local but if we
26:25
only a change in our local but if we
26:25
only a change in our local but if we connect it to our fluid framework into
26:27
connect it to our fluid framework into
26:27
connect it to our fluid framework into azure fluid relay for example so that
26:30
azure fluid relay for example so that
26:30
azure fluid relay for example so that change will be sent to the fluid service
26:32
change will be sent to the fluid service
26:32
change will be sent to the fluid service so There's a fluid service that is
26:34
so There's a fluid service that is
26:34
so There's a fluid service that is running behind our front end and this
26:37
running behind our front end and this
26:37
running behind our front end and this will get the updates from our local So
26:41
will get the updates from our local So
26:41
will get the updates from our local So if for example I click the button to
26:43
if for example I click the button to
26:43
if for example I click the button to roll the dice So it will also Set the
26:47
roll the dice So it will also Set the
26:47
roll the dice So it will also Set the new value of that dice to our fluid
26:51
new value of that dice to our fluid
26:51
new value of that dice to our fluid service So this is Actually the random
26:53
service So this is Actually the random
26:53
service So this is Actually the random number from 1 to si And it will set that
26:56
number from 1 to si And it will set that
26:56
number from 1 to si And it will set that new value to the dice map so the dice
26:59
new value to the dice map so the dice
26:59
new value to the dice map so the dice map is the map or the data structure
27:01
map is the map or the data structure
27:01
map is the map or the data structure that is being used by our current azure
27:04
that is being used by our current azure
27:04
that is being used by our current azure fluid
27:07
fluid
27:07
fluid container and step three So if our fluid
27:11
container and step three So if our fluid
27:11
container and step three So if our fluid service already receives the value that
27:13
service already receives the value that
27:14
service already receives the value that is being sent by a specific user so for
27:16
is being sent by a specific user so for
27:16
is being sent by a specific user so for example one user has rolled the dice So
27:19
example one user has rolled the dice So
27:19
example one user has rolled the dice So it will now sequence the operation and
27:21
it will now sequence the operation and
27:21
it will now sequence the operation and broadcast to all of the connected
27:23
broadcast to all of the connected
27:23
broadcast to all of the connected clients and in this case um for example
27:26
clients and in this case um for example
27:26
clients and in this case um for example if there are other two or users that are
27:28
if there are other two or users that are
27:29
if there are other two or users that are connected to our um to our application
27:32
connected to our um to our application
27:32
connected to our um to our application fluid service will detect that and it
27:34
fluid service will detect that and it
27:34
fluid service will detect that and it will send that also to other connected
27:36
will send that also to other connected
27:36
will send that also to other connected users as well or to other client
27:37
users as well or to other client
27:38
users as well or to other client browsers as well so it's a broadcast
27:40
browsers as well so it's a broadcast
27:40
browsers as well so it's a broadcast There's no logic And it will just get
27:42
There's no logic And it will just get
27:42
There's no logic And it will just get the state and all of that users will
27:45
the state and all of that users will
27:45
the state and all of that users will receive that Uh
27:47
receive that Uh
27:47
receive that Uh data right and step four So it
27:51
data right and step four So it
27:51
data right and step four So it incorporates that operation into local
27:53
incorporates that operation into local
27:53
incorporates that operation into local data and raises a value change event So
27:56
data and raises a value change event So
27:56
data and raises a value change event So um the fluid service it its own events
27:59
um the fluid service it its own events
27:59
um the fluid service it its own events so for in this example value change So
28:02
so for in this example value change So
28:02
so for in this example value change So this is a defined or predefined event
28:04
this is a defined or predefined event
28:04
this is a defined or predefined event for azure fluid service So if um one
28:09
for azure fluid service So if um one
28:09
for azure fluid service So if um one user Uh is sending a change or it
28:12
user Uh is sending a change or it
28:12
user Uh is sending a change or it triggers a change to the fluid service
28:14
triggers a change to the fluid service
28:14
triggers a change to the fluid service So this value change will also be
28:16
So this value change will also be
28:16
So this value change will also be triggered by The Other client browsers
28:18
triggered by The Other client browsers
28:18
triggered by The Other client browsers which are connected and if this is
28:20
which are connected and if this is
28:20
which are connected and if this is Trigger So it will call the update dice
28:23
Trigger So it will call the update dice
28:23
Trigger So it will call the update dice function again so the update dice um
28:26
function again so the update dice um
28:26
function again so the update dice um function will be will will be called
28:28
function will be will will be called
28:28
function will be will will be called again just to update the value and the
28:30
again just to update the value and the
28:31
again just to update the value and the view of other connected users Except the
28:34
view of other connected users Except the
28:34
view of other connected users Except the one who has rolled the dice So this is
28:36
one who has rolled the dice So this is
28:36
one who has rolled the dice So this is the step
28:38
the step
28:38
the step four and step five this is just the
28:41
four and step five this is just the
28:41
four and step five this is just the update dice so It will be called again
28:43
update dice so It will be called again
28:43
update dice so It will be called again so the clients who are connected will um
28:47
so the clients who are connected will um
28:47
so the clients who are connected will um will see the new updates so the dice
28:49
will see the new updates so the dice
28:49
will see the new updates so the dice value the new the new dice value will be
28:51
value the new the new dice value will be
28:51
value the new the new dice value will be um will be displayed the text content so
28:54
um will be displayed the text content so
28:54
um will be displayed the text content so for example if it's one two 3 and the
28:56
for example if it's one two 3 and the
28:56
for example if it's one two 3 and the color of the dice will also change So
28:59
color of the dice will also change So
28:59
color of the dice will also change So basically That's how the fluid works and
29:01
basically That's how the fluid works and
29:02
basically That's how the fluid works and this is just a snippet of
29:04
this is just a snippet of
29:04
this is just a snippet of code right so yeah I'm explaining a lot
29:07
code right so yeah I'm explaining a lot
29:07
code right so yeah I'm explaining a lot of Uh things there and you might Say ah
29:11
of Uh things there and you might Say ah
29:12
of Uh things there and you might Say ah it's just a snippet I I still don't
29:14
it's just a snippet I I still don't
29:14
it's just a snippet I I still don't understand how this fluid relay works
29:16
understand how this fluid relay works
29:16
understand how this fluid relay works how does it still handles this Uh kind
29:19
how does it still handles this Uh kind
29:19
how does it still handles this Uh kind of real time collaborative app If there
29:22
of real time collaborative app If there
29:22
of real time collaborative app If there is no backend And maybe your face right
29:24
is no backend And maybe your face right
29:24
is no backend And maybe your face right now is like this So I will explain more
29:26
now is like this So I will explain more
29:26
now is like this So I will explain more and Later on I will show you a deep dive
29:28
and Later on I will show you a deep dive
29:28
and Later on I will show you a deep dive demo on how this azure fluid relay works
29:31
demo on how this azure fluid relay works
29:31
demo on how this azure fluid relay works right so before going on to the demo So
29:35
right so before going on to the demo So
29:35
right so before going on to the demo So I just want you to know what are the
29:36
I just want you to know what are the
29:36
I just want you to know what are the building blocks of azure fluid relay so
29:39
building blocks of azure fluid relay so
29:39
building blocks of azure fluid relay so These are the most important building
29:40
These are the most important building
29:40
These are the most important building blocks to consider or to know what are
29:42
blocks to consider or to know what are
29:43
blocks to consider or to know what are their concepts and what are the
29:45
their concepts and what are the
29:45
their concepts and what are the responsibilities in building an azure
29:46
responsibilities in building an azure
29:47
responsibilities in building an azure fluid relay so there are Actually three
29:49
fluid relay so there are Actually three
29:49
fluid relay so there are Actually three primary concepts for building an
29:50
primary concepts for building an
29:50
primary concepts for building an application with fluid so the number one
29:52
application with fluid so the number one
29:52
application with fluid so the number one is the service so service is basically
29:54
is the service so service is basically
29:54
is the service so service is basically like the waiter which sends and receives
29:57
like the waiter which sends and receives
29:57
like the waiter which sends and receives updates for the azure fluid service and
30:00
updates for the azure fluid service and
30:00
updates for the azure fluid service and container so the container is where um
30:02
container so the container is where um
30:03
container so the container is where um This Is Where um like all of our data is
30:06
This Is Where um like all of our data is
30:06
This Is Where um like all of our data is being stored So if we have one container
30:08
being stored So if we have one container
30:08
being stored So if we have one container and there are three users that are
30:10
and there are three users that are
30:10
and there are three users that are connected to that specific container so
30:13
connected to that specific container so
30:13
connected to that specific container so all of the users will receive a specific
30:15
all of the users will receive a specific
30:15
all of the users will receive a specific update if um the service is being
30:18
update if um the service is being
30:18
update if um the service is being triggered or if the service is sending a
30:20
triggered or if the service is sending a
30:20
triggered or if the service is sending a new update or receiving a new data from
30:23
new update or receiving a new data from
30:23
new update or receiving a new data from Uh a specific pier and number three is
30:26
Uh a specific pier and number three is
30:26
Uh a specific pier and number three is the shared objects so shared objects are
30:28
the shared objects so shared objects are
30:28
the shared objects so shared objects are specifically the data that are being
30:30
specifically the data that are being
30:30
specifically the data that are being sent real time to other connected users
30:33
sent real time to other connected users
30:33
sent real time to other connected users and shared objects can be stored in
30:36
and shared objects can be stored in
30:36
and shared objects can be stored in different data structures As I have
30:38
different data structures As I have
30:38
different data structures As I have mentioned a while
30:39
mentioned a while
30:39
mentioned a while ago so for the architecture a service so
30:43
ago so for the architecture a service so
30:43
ago so for the architecture a service so as I have mention a while ago It's a
30:44
as I have mention a while ago It's a
30:45
as I have mention a while ago It's a centralized service to send and receive
30:47
centralized service to send and receive
30:47
centralized service to send and receive data in operation So basically this is
30:49
data in operation So basically this is
30:49
data in operation So basically this is just like the waiter um that sends and
30:52
just like the waiter um that sends and
30:52
just like the waiter um that sends and receive data for the azure fluid relay
30:55
receive data for the azure fluid relay
30:55
receive data for the azure fluid relay and for the client applications which
30:57
and for the client applications which
30:57
and for the client applications which are connected to our relay so for us um
31:01
are connected to our relay so for us um
31:01
are connected to our relay so for us um to implement a service or the fluid
31:04
to implement a service or the fluid
31:04
to implement a service or the fluid service in our application It's pretty
31:06
service in our application It's pretty
31:06
service in our application It's pretty simple you just have to install install
31:08
simple you just have to install install
31:08
simple you just have to install install our library which is named at fluid
31:11
our library which is named at fluid
31:11
our library which is named at fluid framework aure das client So this is
31:14
framework aure das client So this is
31:14
framework aure das client So this is Actually um This is Actually front end
31:16
Actually um This is Actually front end
31:16
Actually um This is Actually front end or framework agnostic this means that um
31:19
or framework agnostic this means that um
31:19
or framework agnostic this means that um It's compatible to different frameworks
31:22
It's compatible to different frameworks
31:22
It's compatible to different frameworks that are already present or that are
31:24
that are already present or that are
31:24
that are already present or that are already available in Uh front in
31:26
already available in Uh front in
31:26
already available in Uh front in building frontend applications so just
31:28
building frontend applications so just
31:28
building frontend applications so just like angular react and view So In our
31:31
like angular react and view So In our
31:31
like angular react and view So In our case um i've been using Uh fluid
31:34
case um i've been using Uh fluid
31:34
case um i've been using Uh fluid framework for angular and react and They
31:37
framework for angular and react and They
31:37
framework for angular and react and They are working seamlessly so you can
31:38
are working seamlessly so you can
31:38
are working seamlessly so you can Actually try it with other frameworks as
31:40
Actually try it with other frameworks as
31:40
Actually try it with other frameworks as well and yeah they have their own um
31:44
well and yeah they have their own um
31:44
well and yeah they have their own um packages if I remember so if you want to
31:46
packages if I remember so if you want to
31:46
packages if I remember so if you want to use it with react and angular so they
31:48
use it with react and angular so they
31:49
use it with react and angular so they are also um They're also specifying this
31:51
are also um They're also specifying this
31:51
are also um They're also specifying this in our Uh or in their documentation
31:55
in our Uh or in their documentation
31:55
in our Uh or in their documentation rather right and the next one is the
31:58
rather right and the next one is the
31:58
rather right and the next one is the container so container is just like the
32:00
container so container is just like the
32:00
container so container is just like the storage or This Is Where our shared
32:02
storage or This Is Where our shared
32:02
storage or This Is Where our shared objects is being contained and for
32:05
objects is being contained and for
32:05
objects is being contained and for example there are three or more users
32:07
example there are three or more users
32:07
example there are three or more users that are connected in that specific
32:09
that are connected in that specific
32:09
that are connected in that specific container so these users will be the one
32:12
container so these users will be the one
32:12
container so these users will be the one only receiving the updates coming from
32:14
only receiving the updates coming from
32:14
only receiving the updates coming from our um service So this is Actually the
32:17
our um service So this is Actually the
32:17
our um service So this is Actually the collection of shared objects that
32:18
collection of shared objects that
32:19
collection of shared objects that contain data that is shared with
32:20
contain data that is shared with
32:20
contain data that is shared with different clients so based on the
32:22
different clients so based on the
32:22
different clients so based on the description below It's like um a simple
32:25
description below It's like um a simple
32:25
description below It's like um a simple container which all of the user are
32:28
container which all of the user are
32:28
container which all of the user are being gathered Where they can send and
32:30
being gathered Where they can send and
32:30
being gathered Where they can send and receive updates so in a code perspective
32:33
receive updates so in a code perspective
32:33
receive updates so in a code perspective So In order for you to create a
32:35
So In order for you to create a
32:35
So In order for you to create a container So you will Actually create
32:38
container So you will Actually create
32:38
container So you will Actually create the container with the initial objects
32:40
the container with the initial objects
32:40
the container with the initial objects so for example um you want to share a
32:44
so for example um you want to share a
32:44
so for example um you want to share a blog list or you want to share the dice
32:46
blog list or you want to share the dice
32:46
blog list or you want to share the dice for example so the initial objects are
32:49
for example so the initial objects are
32:49
for example so the initial objects are already initialized here so the layout
32:52
already initialized here so the layout
32:52
already initialized here so the layout um You will now specify What kind of
32:54
um You will now specify What kind of
32:54
um You will now specify What kind of data structure that you want to Store or
32:56
data structure that you want to Store or
32:56
data structure that you want to Store or that you want to use um in storing Uh
32:59
that you want to use um in storing Uh
32:59
that you want to use um in storing Uh your data so you can Actually combine
33:02
your data so you can Actually combine
33:02
your data so you can Actually combine different data structures in azure fluid
33:04
different data structures in azure fluid
33:04
different data structures in azure fluid relay and to create this um container So
33:08
relay and to create this um container So
33:08
relay and to create this um container So you just have to call the client so the
33:10
you just have to call the client so the
33:10
you just have to call the client so the client that create container and feed
33:12
client that create container and feed
33:12
client that create container and feed the schema as a parameter and this will
33:14
the schema as a parameter and this will
33:14
the schema as a parameter and this will now return um the container and the
33:17
now return um the container and the
33:17
now return um the container and the services So this is Actually the
33:19
services So this is Actually the
33:19
services So this is Actually the instance of the container and the
33:20
instance of the container and the
33:20
instance of the container and the services from the um the fluid framework
33:23
services from the um the fluid framework
33:23
services from the um the fluid framework that you have created and after that one
33:26
that you have created and after that one
33:26
that you have created and after that one you need to attach the container And it
33:28
you need to attach the container And it
33:28
you need to attach the container And it will now give you the container ID where
33:31
will now give you the container ID where
33:31
will now give you the container ID where you want to um
33:34
you want to um
33:34
you want to um connect right Next One is the shared
33:37
connect right Next One is the shared
33:37
connect right Next One is the shared objects So basically These are the This
33:39
objects So basically These are the This
33:39
objects So basically These are the This is the most important part of having the
33:41
is the most important part of having the
33:41
is the most important part of having the fluid framework so in shared objects
33:44
fluid framework so in shared objects
33:44
fluid framework so in shared objects these are just basically the data that
33:46
these are just basically the data that
33:46
these are just basically the data that we are sharing in our um azure fluid
33:50
we are sharing in our um azure fluid
33:50
we are sharing in our um azure fluid relay so the shared data um This is the
33:53
relay so the shared data um This is the
33:54
relay so the shared data um This is the um this are Actually stored with Uh with
33:56
um this are Actually stored with Uh with
33:56
um this are Actually stored with Uh with the data stru data structures that we
33:59
the data stru data structures that we
33:59
the data stru data structures that we are selecting so we can Actually Store
34:01
are selecting so we can Actually Store
34:01
are selecting so we can Actually Store It by via shared map so shared map is
34:03
It by via shared map so shared map is
34:03
It by via shared map so shared map is just like a map likee data structure um
34:05
just like a map likee data structure um
34:05
just like a map likee data structure um for storing key value per data so it's
34:07
for storing key value per data so it's
34:08
for storing key value per data so it's just like a record so for example
34:09
just like a record so for example
34:09
just like a record so for example There's a key for your data then In
34:12
There's a key for your data then In
34:12
There's a key for your data then In order for you to access the value so
34:13
order for you to access the value so
34:13
order for you to access the value so Just get the key in our shared map and a
34:16
Just get the key in our shared map and a
34:16
Just get the key in our shared map and a shared Directory this is more of like a
34:19
shared Directory this is more of like a
34:19
shared Directory this is more of like a complex a more complex shared map so
34:21
complex a more complex shared map so
34:21
complex a more complex shared map so it's a combination of shared map and
34:23
it's a combination of shared map and
34:23
it's a combination of shared map and directories so shared maps can be
34:26
directories so shared maps can be
34:26
directories so shared maps can be cascaded so it's just like a
34:27
cascaded so it's just like a
34:27
cascaded so it's just like a subdirectories and We also have a shared
34:30
subdirectories and We also have a shared
34:31
subdirectories and We also have a shared string so shared string is just
34:32
string so shared string is just
34:32
string so shared string is just basically a simple string that we want
34:34
basically a simple string that we want
34:34
basically a simple string that we want to share right So this are the most
34:39
to share right So this are the most
34:39
to share right So this are the most important components that we need to
34:41
important components that we need to
34:41
important components that we need to know and we need to learn on how what is
34:43
know and we need to learn on how what is
34:43
know and we need to learn on how what is the responsibility in creating your um
34:46
the responsibility in creating your um
34:46
the responsibility in creating your um azure fluid
34:48
azure fluid
34:48
azure fluid relay All right and Yeah that's
34:51
relay All right and Yeah that's
34:51
relay All right and Yeah that's basically it on the introduction of the
34:54
basically it on the introduction of the
34:54
basically it on the introduction of the azure fluid relay so right now I will
34:56
azure fluid relay so right now I will
34:56
azure fluid relay so right now I will show you a very quick demo on how azure
34:59
show you a very quick demo on how azure
34:59
show you a very quick demo on how azure fluid relay is being created So I will
35:02
fluid relay is being created So I will
35:02
fluid relay is being created So I will share again another screen so maybe I
35:04
share again another screen so maybe I
35:04
share again another screen so maybe I will just share my screen for me to
35:06
will just share my screen for me to
35:06
will just share my screen for me to navigate easier
35:28
Okay so the first thing that I will show
35:32
Okay so the first thing that I will show
35:32
Okay so the first thing that I will show you is how to create an azure fluid
35:34
you is how to create an azure fluid
35:34
you is how to create an azure fluid create um azure fluid relay so It's very
35:38
create um azure fluid relay so It's very
35:38
create um azure fluid relay so It's very easy to create an azure fluid relay
35:41
easy to create an azure fluid relay
35:41
easy to create an azure fluid relay container so It's very simple and um
35:45
container so It's very simple and um
35:45
container so It's very simple and um once you have created your azur fluid
35:47
once you have created your azur fluid
35:47
once you have created your azur fluid relay that's it you don't have to do any
35:49
relay that's it you don't have to do any
35:49
relay that's it you don't have to do any configurations or you don't have to do
35:51
configurations or you don't have to do
35:51
configurations or you don't have to do any settings um the only thing that you
35:53
any settings um the only thing that you
35:53
any settings um the only thing that you need is the properties and um the setup
35:57
need is the properties and um the setup
35:57
need is the properties and um the setup or the keys that you need for for your
36:00
or the keys that you need for for your
36:00
or the keys that you need for for your application to be able to connect to
36:01
application to be able to connect to
36:01
application to be able to connect to your fluid relay
36:03
your fluid relay
36:03
your fluid relay so This is my portal This is my azure So
36:07
so This is my portal This is my azure So
36:07
so This is my portal This is my azure So if you if you're not using azure fluid
36:09
if you if you're not using azure fluid
36:09
if you if you're not using azure fluid relay yet so Just search on the fluid
36:11
relay yet so Just search on the fluid
36:11
relay yet so Just search on the fluid relay on the service and you will
36:14
relay on the service and you will
36:14
relay on the service and you will Actually see um the instances of your
36:17
Actually see um the instances of your
36:17
Actually see um the instances of your fluid relays right now I already have
36:19
fluid relays right now I already have
36:20
fluid relays right now I already have two instances but I will show you on how
36:22
two instances but I will show you on how
36:22
two instances but I will show you on how to create so it's um It's very simple
36:25
to create so it's um It's very simple
36:25
to create so it's um It's very simple just go to the create or just click
36:28
just go to the create or just click
36:28
just go to the create or just click create button and Yeah just um like what
36:32
create button and Yeah just um like what
36:32
create button and Yeah just um like what are what we are doing in creating a
36:34
are what we are doing in creating a
36:34
are what we are doing in creating a service so just create or just select
36:36
service so just create or just select
36:36
service so just create or just select your
36:37
your
36:37
your subscription select your Resource group
36:39
subscription select your Resource group
36:39
subscription select your Resource group so for example for me I will select my
36:42
so for example for me I will select my
36:42
so for example for me I will select my speaker demo so for example your
36:43
speaker demo so for example your
36:43
speaker demo so for example your application is being hosted in a
36:45
application is being hosted in a
36:46
application is being hosted in a specific um Resource group where It's
36:47
specific um Resource group where It's
36:47
specific um Resource group where It's included in a Resource group so I would
36:50
included in a Resource group so I would
36:50
included in a Resource group so I would recommend that it will be on the same
36:52
recommend that it will be on the same
36:52
recommend that it will be on the same Resource group then let's say um azure
36:57
Resource group then let's say um azure
36:57
Resource group then let's say um azure Swedish
36:58
Swedish
36:58
Swedish will be the name and Let's just have Uh
37:03
will be the name and Let's just have Uh
37:03
will be the name and Let's just have Uh West Europe I would say because I live
37:07
West Europe I would say because I live
37:07
West Europe I would say because I live in the Netherlands then Let's have
37:09
in the Netherlands then Let's have
37:09
in the Netherlands then Let's have review and
37:18
create and basically that's it so I've
37:21
create and basically that's it so I've
37:21
create and basically that's it so I've already created my fluid relay and it
37:26
already created my fluid relay and it
37:26
already created my fluid relay and it Just wait for it to be propagated and if
37:28
Just wait for it to be propagated and if
37:28
Just wait for it to be propagated and if um for it to be deployed and it's ready
37:31
um for it to be deployed and it's ready
37:31
um for it to be deployed and it's ready to use and you don't have to do anything
37:33
to use and you don't have to do anything
37:33
to use and you don't have to do anything about the configuration So um This is
37:36
about the configuration So um This is
37:36
about the configuration So um This is now being deployed but I already have
37:39
now being deployed but I already have
37:39
now being deployed but I already have prepared some fluid relays on my
37:41
prepared some fluid relays on my
37:41
prepared some fluid relays on my personal account so maybe I will just
37:43
personal account so maybe I will just
37:43
personal account so maybe I will just show you that one Uh let's have it so
37:48
show you that one Uh let's have it so
37:48
show you that one Uh let's have it so for the dice relay for
37:49
for the dice relay for
37:49
for the dice relay for example So In order for you to use this
37:53
example So In order for you to use this
37:53
example So In order for you to use this fluid relay It's pretty much simple so
37:56
fluid relay It's pretty much simple so
37:56
fluid relay It's pretty much simple so the first thing or the the thing that
37:58
the first thing or the the thing that
37:58
the first thing or the the thing that you only need uh you only need to do is
38:00
you only need uh you only need to do is
38:00
you only need uh you only need to do is just go to the
38:03
just go to the
38:03
just go to the properties so you can have it here or if
38:07
properties so you can have it here or if
38:07
properties so you can have it here or if you want a more specific so you can also
38:10
you want a more specific so you can also
38:10
you want a more specific so you can also have all of the access Keys here in your
38:13
have all of the access Keys here in your
38:13
have all of the access Keys here in your fluid relay So this is basically um the
38:16
fluid relay So this is basically um the
38:16
fluid relay So this is basically um the information that you will need for you
38:18
information that you will need for you
38:18
information that you will need for you to connect to your application so for
38:20
to connect to your application so for
38:20
to connect to your application so for the tenant ID you will Need This one so
38:22
the tenant ID you will Need This one so
38:22
the tenant ID you will Need This one so for you to know what is the tenant then
38:24
for you to know what is the tenant then
38:24
for you to know what is the tenant then the primary key the second um secondary
38:28
the primary key the second um secondary
38:28
the primary key the second um secondary key and just the service endpoint and
38:30
key and just the service endpoint and
38:30
key and just the service endpoint and basically that's it so you already have
38:32
basically that's it so you already have
38:32
basically that's it so you already have your dice or you have your fluid relay
38:34
your dice or you have your fluid relay
38:34
your dice or you have your fluid relay available in azure cloud So um This is
38:38
available in azure cloud So um This is
38:38
available in azure cloud So um This is Uh This is what Uh fluid framework is
38:43
Uh This is what Uh fluid framework is
38:43
Uh This is what Uh fluid framework is making it more easier or easier for us
38:46
making it more easier or easier for us
38:46
making it more easier or easier for us to deploy our um azure fluid relay
38:49
to deploy our um azure fluid relay
38:49
to deploy our um azure fluid relay because in other um applications they
38:52
because in other um applications they
38:52
because in other um applications they are just using the fluid framework as a
38:54
are just using the fluid framework as a
38:54
are just using the fluid framework as a standalone but right now um since
38:56
standalone but right now um since
38:56
standalone but right now um since Microsoft azure is um offering a fluid
39:00
Microsoft azure is um offering a fluid
39:00
Microsoft azure is um offering a fluid relay so it's now easier for us to
39:02
relay so it's now easier for us to
39:02
relay so it's now easier for us to deploy our fluid framework um with azure
39:06
deploy our fluid framework um with azure
39:06
deploy our fluid framework um with azure with azure portal so it's now easier for
39:09
with azure portal so it's now easier for
39:09
with azure portal so it's now easier for us to deploy our frontend applications
39:12
us to deploy our frontend applications
39:12
us to deploy our frontend applications using azure fluid relay so going back so
39:15
using azure fluid relay so going back so
39:15
using azure fluid relay so going back so we have already now our fluid relay up
39:18
we have already now our fluid relay up
39:18
we have already now our fluid relay up in our azure portal so the next thing to
39:21
in our azure portal so the next thing to
39:21
in our azure portal so the next thing to do is basically create your frontend
39:23
do is basically create your frontend
39:23
do is basically create your frontend application right So um This is from
39:26
application right So um This is from
39:26
application right So um This is from micros soft So this is an example So
39:28
micros soft So this is an example So
39:28
micros soft So this is an example So this is a basic plain JavaScript example
39:31
this is a basic plain JavaScript example
39:31
this is a basic plain JavaScript example um This is Actually the dice roller that
39:33
um This is Actually the dice roller that
39:33
um This is Actually the dice roller that we have so This is running in a plain
39:36
we have so This is running in a plain
39:36
we have so This is running in a plain JavaScript and we can see that we have
39:39
JavaScript and we can see that we have
39:39
JavaScript and we can see that we have already configured our azure fluid relay
39:41
already configured our azure fluid relay
39:41
already configured our azure fluid relay So reminding you guys that I don't have
39:43
So reminding you guys that I don't have
39:43
So reminding you guys that I don't have any back end for this one and this is
39:45
any back end for this one and this is
39:45
any back end for this one and this is now using a collaborative um realtime
39:48
now using a collaborative um realtime
39:48
now using a collaborative um realtime application and it's just azure fluid
39:50
application and it's just azure fluid
39:51
application and it's just azure fluid relay so I can show you the package
39:54
relay so I can show you the package
39:54
relay so I can show you the package reason the only things that I've
39:56
reason the only things that I've
39:56
reason the only things that I've installed as a dependency so just Never
39:58
installed as a dependency so just Never
39:58
installed as a dependency so just Never mind about the death dependencies
40:00
mind about the death dependencies
40:00
mind about the death dependencies because it's for the um for the test and
40:02
because it's for the um for the test and
40:03
because it's for the um for the test and other parts like webpack but for the
40:05
other parts like webpack but for the
40:05
other parts like webpack but for the dependencies itself So I just installed
40:08
dependencies itself So I just installed
40:08
dependencies itself So I just installed a fluid framework and the azure client
40:11
a fluid framework and the azure client
40:11
a fluid framework and the azure client for me to connect with my fluid relay
40:13
for me to connect with my fluid relay
40:13
for me to connect with my fluid relay Which I have deployed a while ago and um
40:16
Which I have deployed a while ago and um
40:16
Which I have deployed a while ago and um just the test
40:18
just the test
40:18
just the test client for testing your um Uh fluid
40:24
client for testing your um Uh fluid
40:24
client for testing your um Uh fluid relay and basically the fluid framework
40:27
relay and basically the fluid framework
40:27
relay and basically the fluid framework so so we will still need fluid framework
40:28
so so we will still need fluid framework
40:28
so so we will still need fluid framework for right So um We Are All set So I will
40:33
for right So um We Are All set So I will
40:33
for right So um We Are All set So I will not show it from scratch and I will just
40:35
not show it from scratch and I will just
40:35
not show it from scratch and I will just show you the whole code that I have
40:37
show you the whole code that I have
40:37
show you the whole code that I have demoed or have presented you a while ago
40:39
demoed or have presented you a while ago
40:39
demoed or have presented you a while ago So this is the dice roller So um a while
40:42
So this is the dice roller So um a while
40:43
So this is the dice roller So um a while ago we have already created our dice um
40:45
ago we have already created our dice um
40:45
ago we have already created our dice um relay or the fluid relay container So
40:48
relay or the fluid relay container So
40:48
relay or the fluid relay container So what we only need to do is um feed or
40:52
what we only need to do is um feed or
40:53
what we only need to do is um feed or set that up set all of the tenant IDs um
40:56
set that up set all of the tenant IDs um
40:56
set that up set all of the tenant IDs um the the the primary Keys and the end
40:59
the the the primary Keys and the end
40:59
the the the primary Keys and the end that we have for our service so in this
41:03
that we have for our service so in this
41:03
that we have for our service so in this line 11 to line 18 You will see here
41:05
line 11 to line 18 You will see here
41:05
line 11 to line 18 You will see here that we have configured our dice or
41:09
that we have configured our dice or
41:09
that we have configured our dice or fluid relay using the tenant ID that we
41:12
fluid relay using the tenant ID that we
41:12
fluid relay using the tenant ID that we have a while ago in our azure and
41:15
have a while ago in our azure and
41:15
have a while ago in our azure and basically the type is remote since we
41:16
basically the type is remote since we
41:16
basically the type is remote since we are using the cloud and for demo
41:19
are using the cloud and for demo
41:19
are using the cloud and for demo purposes um This is not actually the way
41:22
purposes um This is not actually the way
41:22
purposes um This is not actually the way on how we do it for our token provider
41:25
on how we do it for our token provider
41:25
on how we do it for our token provider but um there's an token provider that is
41:28
but um there's an token provider that is
41:28
but um there's an token provider that is being provided by test client just for
41:31
being provided by test client just for
41:31
being provided by test client just for local um testing but the right way for
41:33
local um testing but the right way for
41:33
local um testing but the right way for this one is to use azure functions for
41:36
this one is to use azure functions for
41:36
this one is to use azure functions for you to get a token provider So that's
41:39
you to get a token provider So that's
41:39
you to get a token provider So that's very Secure so for using this one in
41:42
very Secure so for using this one in
41:42
very Secure so for using this one in production I would not recommend this
41:43
production I would not recommend this
41:43
production I would not recommend this one and Just For The End point of our
41:46
one and Just For The End point of our
41:46
one and Just For The End point of our fluid relay So basically This Is How We
41:49
fluid relay So basically This Is How We
41:49
fluid relay So basically This Is How We configure our azure fluid relay for our
41:52
configure our azure fluid relay for our
41:52
configure our azure fluid relay for our frontend application and after that step
41:57
frontend application and after that step
41:57
frontend application and after that step We just have to create a new instance
41:58
We just have to create a new instance
41:58
We just have to create a new instance for our azure client so by having the
42:01
for our azure client so by having the
42:02
for our azure client so by having the service config as our parameter and this
42:06
service config as our parameter and this
42:06
service config as our parameter and this will now um this will now return our
42:09
will now um this will now return our
42:09
will now um this will now return our client So this is the one or This is the
42:13
client So this is the one or This is the
42:13
client So this is the one or This is the one that we will use for us to create or
42:16
one that we will use for us to create or
42:16
one that we will use for us to create or to connect to our azure fluid um
42:19
to connect to our azure fluid um
42:19
to connect to our azure fluid um container So this client you will see it
42:22
container So this client you will see it
42:22
container So this client you will see it here Uh We will also have our schema So
42:26
here Uh We will also have our schema So
42:26
here Uh We will also have our schema So this is our shared object so we are now
42:29
this is our shared object so we are now
42:29
this is our shared object so we are now using a shared tree um a shared tree
42:32
using a shared tree um a shared tree
42:32
using a shared tree um a shared tree data structure to create um our shared
42:36
data structure to create um our shared
42:36
data structure to create um our shared object in our fluid relay So this is the
42:39
object in our fluid relay So this is the
42:39
object in our fluid relay So this is the name of our shared object which is dice
42:42
name of our shared object which is dice
42:42
name of our shared object which is dice 3 and basically um If you remember this
42:46
3 and basically um If you remember this
42:46
3 and basically um If you remember this is the initial value of our fluid relay
42:49
is the initial value of our fluid relay
42:50
is the initial value of our fluid relay So this is now defining our schema right
42:54
So this is now defining our schema right
42:54
So this is now defining our schema right so Let's move on or let's go let's skip
42:59
so Let's move on or let's go let's skip
42:59
so Let's move on or let's go let's skip this part and Let's move on to the part
43:01
this part and Let's move on to the part
43:01
this part and Let's move on to the part where we create now our container so for
43:04
where we create now our container so for
43:04
where we create now our container so for this one we are using the client So this
43:07
this one we are using the client So this
43:07
this one we are using the client So this is D create container and we are just
43:10
is D create container and we are just
43:10
is D create container and we are just setting the value to two so it's just a
43:13
setting the value to two so it's just a
43:13
setting the value to two so it's just a defined value whatever um for example
43:15
defined value whatever um for example
43:15
defined value whatever um for example you want to set if there's if it's a new
43:18
you want to set if there's if it's a new
43:18
you want to set if there's if it's a new container if it's not Uh if there are no
43:21
container if it's not Uh if there are no
43:21
container if it's not Uh if there are no users connected So this is a new hash so
43:24
users connected So this is a new hash so
43:24
users connected So this is a new hash so the current value of your dice will be
43:25
the current value of your dice will be
43:26
the current value of your dice will be two So it can be one 1 3 4 f or si So it
43:29
two So it can be one 1 3 4 f or si So it
43:29
two So it can be one 1 3 4 f or si So it will now create the container and since
43:33
will now create the container and since
43:33
will now create the container and since our schema it has an initial object
43:35
our schema it has an initial object
43:35
our schema it has an initial object which is Nam dice 3 So it will be viewed
43:38
which is Nam dice 3 So it will be viewed
43:38
which is Nam dice 3 So it will be viewed with the three view configuration so
43:40
with the three view configuration so
43:40
with the three view configuration so This is our um configuration for our
43:43
This is our um configuration for our
43:43
This is our um configuration for our shared
43:44
shared
43:44
shared object
43:46
object
43:46
object and it will now attach our container to
43:49
and it will now attach our container to
43:49
and it will now attach our container to the azure fluid relay and this will now
43:52
the azure fluid relay and this will now
43:52
the azure fluid relay and this will now Have a unique ID for us to know which um
43:56
Have a unique ID for us to know which um
43:56
Have a unique ID for us to know which um which container
43:58
which container
43:58
which container for the user or a specific user is
44:00
for the user or a specific user is
44:00
for the user or a specific user is connected right
44:03
connected right
44:03
connected right Okay so let's try to run oh this is
44:07
Okay so let's try to run oh this is
44:07
Okay so let's try to run oh this is running already so let's try to run our
44:09
running already so let's try to run our
44:09
running already so let's try to run our application let's try to run it
44:12
application let's try to run it
44:12
application let's try to run it again for
44:13
again for
44:14
again for just you guys to know how to run this So
44:17
just you guys to know how to run this So
44:17
just you guys to know how to run this So I will show you what are the things that
44:19
I will show you what are the things that
44:19
I will show you what are the things that will be running on our local so in this
44:23
will be running on our local so in this
44:23
will be running on our local so in this case Uh
44:27
we already have our code So this is the
44:29
we already have our code So this is the
44:29
we already have our code So this is the update guys you have we have seen this a
44:32
update guys you have we have seen this a
44:32
update guys you have we have seen this a while ago
44:33
while ago
44:33
while ago also so we will try running this
44:36
also so we will try running this
44:37
also so we will try running this application so the first one that we
44:39
application so the first one that we
44:39
application so the first one that we will run is the server So this is just
44:42
will run is the server So this is just
44:42
will run is the server So this is just like the service for the azure fluid So
44:44
like the service for the azure fluid So
44:44
like the service for the azure fluid So if you remember again we have several
44:47
if you remember again we have several
44:47
if you remember again we have several components or building blocks of azure
44:49
components or building blocks of azure
44:49
components or building blocks of azure fluid and one of them is the service so
44:51
fluid and one of them is the service so
44:51
fluid and one of them is the service so the service is basically the one who
44:53
the service is basically the one who
44:53
the service is basically the one who will send and receive the data from
44:55
will send and receive the data from
44:55
will send and receive the data from different connected clients so we can
44:57
different connected clients so we can
44:57
different connected clients so we can Run It by start server but I just
44:59
Run It by start server but I just
44:59
Run It by start server but I just created a start here just to run both
45:01
created a start here just to run both
45:01
created a start here just to run both server and test and we will also Run our
45:04
server and test and we will also Run our
45:04
server and test and we will also Run our client which is basically our client um
45:06
client which is basically our client um
45:06
client which is basically our client um our frontend application so let's try to
45:09
our frontend application so let's try to
45:09
our frontend application so let's try to run our
45:14
app
45:24
right So I will just put it put the code
45:27
right So I will just put it put the code
45:27
right So I will just put it put the code here just to sort things
45:36
Out All right Let's just wait for 1
45:39
Out All right Let's just wait for 1
45:39
Out All right Let's just wait for 1 minute or less for our application to
45:45
minute or less for our application to
45:45
minute or less for our application to run so our server is now running or
45:48
run so our server is now running or
45:48
run so our server is now running or Sorry our service is now running rather
45:51
Sorry our service is now running rather
45:51
Sorry our service is now running rather So if you will look at
45:53
So if you will look at
45:53
So if you will look at 7070 So this is now our um fluid service
45:58
7070 So this is now our um fluid service
45:58
7070 So this is now our um fluid service So this will be the one responsible for
46:00
So this will be the one responsible for
46:00
So this will be the one responsible for sending and receiving the messages So
46:02
sending and receiving the messages So
46:02
sending and receiving the messages So this is not the front and framework but
46:04
this is not the front and framework but
46:04
this is not the front and framework but this is the service that we have um This
46:06
this is the service that we have um This
46:06
this is the service that we have um This is now our front end application so it's
46:09
is now our front end application so it's
46:09
is now our front end application so it's running on 8080 If I'm not mistaken
46:14
Yeah So this is a very basic dice roller
46:18
Yeah So this is a very basic dice roller
46:18
Yeah So this is a very basic dice roller so I'm actually connected to a fluid
46:21
so I'm actually connected to a fluid
46:21
so I'm actually connected to a fluid container already so as you can see in
46:24
container already so as you can see in
46:24
container already so as you can see in my url there is a hash or there there is
46:27
my url there is a hash or there there is
46:27
my url there is a hash or there there is an ID which is the id of the container
46:29
an ID which is the id of the container
46:29
an ID which is the id of the container So this means that there is one
46:31
So this means that there is one
46:31
So this means that there is one connected user or one connected client
46:33
connected user or one connected client
46:33
connected user or one connected client to the container So You might see this
46:36
to the container So You might see this
46:36
to the container So You might see this one as a very basic app right it's just
46:39
one as a very basic app right it's just
46:39
one as a very basic app right it's just rolling a dice So if i Roll it for
46:41
rolling a dice So if i Roll it for
46:41
rolling a dice So if i Roll it for example it's just rolling or um getting
46:44
example it's just rolling or um getting
46:44
example it's just rolling or um getting the um the new value of the dice but if
46:47
the um the new value of the dice but if
46:47
the um the new value of the dice but if you will have another client for example
46:50
you will have another client for example
46:50
you will have another client for example connected to It by just using the same
46:53
connected to It by just using the same
46:53
connected to It by just using the same ID
46:57
so for example this one I will be
46:58
so for example this one I will be
46:58
so for example this one I will be visiting a same container so I'm
47:00
visiting a same container so I'm
47:00
visiting a same container so I'm connected to a same
47:06
one let's try oh it's it created a new
47:14
one Let's have
47:16
one Let's have
47:16
one Let's have another browser for you to see if it's
47:19
another browser for you to see if it's
47:19
another browser for you to see if it's really updating
47:30
let's connect
47:53
again Yeah Okay so This is is now
47:57
again Yeah Okay so This is is now
47:57
again Yeah Okay so This is is now updating our application so real time so
48:00
updating our application so real time so
48:00
updating our application so real time so for our if you are connected to a same
48:02
for our if you are connected to a same
48:02
for our if you are connected to a same container So it will now update other um
48:05
container So it will now update other um
48:05
container So it will now update other um client as well so right now
48:07
client as well so right now
48:07
client as well so right now Uh I will show you another application
48:10
Uh I will show you another application
48:10
Uh I will show you another application which is a more complex So this rolling
48:14
which is a more complex So this rolling
48:14
which is a more complex So this rolling dice You might not appreciate it because
48:15
dice You might not appreciate it because
48:16
dice You might not appreciate it because it's very simple but We also have a
48:19
it's very simple but We also have a
48:19
it's very simple but We also have a collaboration brainstorm app that I have
48:21
collaboration brainstorm app that I have
48:21
collaboration brainstorm app that I have Run So this is a more
48:25
Run So this is a more
48:25
Run So this is a more Uh Complex app So if I'm not sure if you
48:28
Uh Complex app So if I'm not sure if you
48:28
Uh Complex app So if I'm not sure if you are using Uh Microsoft
48:31
are using Uh Microsoft
48:31
are using Uh Microsoft loop so let's try this
48:41
one Okay so this is more of like a
48:45
one Okay so this is more of like a
48:45
one Okay so this is more of like a collaborative brain store application so
48:48
collaborative brain store application so
48:48
collaborative brain store application so you can see here that it's now um
48:51
you can see here that it's now um
48:51
you can see here that it's now um projecting that a one client or one user
48:54
projecting that a one client or one user
48:54
projecting that a one client or one user is connected Uh to this container or
48:58
is connected Uh to this container or
48:58
is connected Uh to this container or this specific ID So this ID represents
49:01
this specific ID So this ID represents
49:01
this specific ID So this ID represents the container that we have so if I have
49:03
the container that we have so if I have
49:03
the container that we have so if I have another
49:05
another
49:05
another um another browser which is connected
49:09
um another browser which is connected
49:09
um another browser which is connected just for you to see I'll just have
49:12
just for you to see I'll just have
49:12
just for you to see I'll just have another one
49:15
maybe yeah
49:20
great you can see on my screen that
49:22
great you can see on my screen that
49:23
great you can see on my screen that there's another connected user so yeah
49:26
there's another connected user so yeah
49:26
there's another connected user so yeah apologies guys my screen is quite small
49:29
apologies guys my screen is quite small
49:29
apologies guys my screen is quite small but I will just try to make it in
49:33
but I will just try to make it in
49:33
but I will just try to make it in half
49:36
right so let's try to add a
49:41
note So you will see here that our
49:44
note So you will see here that our
49:44
note So you will see here that our application is being updated real time
49:46
application is being updated real time
49:46
application is being updated real time So this is actually using fluid relay
49:48
So this is actually using fluid relay
49:48
So this is actually using fluid relay the same that
49:50
the same that
49:50
the same that um the same with the dice roller app So
49:53
um the same with the dice roller app So
49:53
um the same with the dice roller app So this is Actually two clients so I'm not
49:55
this is Actually two clients so I'm not
49:55
this is Actually two clients so I'm not using any back here this is just a basic
49:57
using any back here this is just a basic
49:57
using any back here this is just a basic Uh react application Uh in my front end
50:01
Uh react application Uh in my front end
50:01
Uh react application Uh in my front end so it's running on local but it This is
50:03
so it's running on local but it This is
50:03
so it's running on local but it This is also connected to the fluid relay
50:06
also connected to the fluid relay
50:06
also connected to the fluid relay service or the azure fluid relay that we
50:08
service or the azure fluid relay that we
50:08
service or the azure fluid relay that we have um deployed a while ago so you can
50:12
have um deployed a while ago so you can
50:12
have um deployed a while ago so you can see here for example I'm typing
50:15
see here for example I'm typing
50:15
see here for example I'm typing Uh some text here in the notes so sa
50:20
Uh some text here in the notes so sa
50:20
Uh some text here in the notes so sa speaking and if i add a note also for et
50:25
speaking and if i add a note also for et
50:25
speaking and if i add a note also for et So you will see here
50:27
So you will see here
50:27
So you will see here that the other users receives the
50:30
that the other users receives the
50:30
that the other users receives the updates as well
50:32
updates as well
50:32
updates as well so azure
50:36
so azure
50:36
so azure Sweden is awesome and if I create a Like
50:40
Sweden is awesome and if I create a Like
50:40
Sweden is awesome and if I create a Like So I will also receive that Like So this
50:43
So I will also receive that Like So this
50:43
So I will also receive that Like So this one will also receive the votes and Yeah
50:46
one will also receive the votes and Yeah
50:46
one will also receive the votes and Yeah if you're changing the default color as
50:48
if you're changing the default color as
50:48
if you're changing the default color as well and you will change the color of
50:51
well and you will change the color of
50:51
well and you will change the color of one Uh notes so we will also receive the
50:56
one Uh notes so we will also receive the
50:56
one Uh notes so we will also receive the update if you are connected to our
50:58
update if you are connected to our
50:58
update if you are connected to our specific container
51:00
specific container
51:01
specific container but if you will create a new instance
51:04
but if you will create a new instance
51:04
but if you will create a new instance obviously will not receive a new um the
51:08
obviously will not receive a new um the
51:08
obviously will not receive a new um the update from the other parts because this
51:09
update from the other parts because this
51:09
update from the other parts because this is a new container already so if you are
51:13
is a new container already so if you are
51:13
is a new container already so if you are implementing an applications that you
51:15
implementing an applications that you
51:15
implementing an applications that you have your own workspace you have your
51:17
have your own workspace you have your
51:17
have your own workspace you have your own um team space so azure fluid relay
51:21
own um team space so azure fluid relay
51:21
own um team space so azure fluid relay can also be used but in my case this is
51:23
can also be used but in my case this is
51:23
can also be used but in my case this is just an example there is no
51:24
just an example there is no
51:24
just an example there is no authentication but in some Complex more
51:26
authentication but in some Complex more
51:26
authentication but in some Complex more complex apps you will also need
51:28
complex apps you will also need
51:28
complex apps you will also need authentication for the fluid relay for
51:30
authentication for the fluid relay for
51:30
authentication for the fluid relay for you to connect to a specific container
51:32
you to connect to a specific container
51:32
you to connect to a specific container So this is now a different container
51:34
So this is now a different container
51:34
So this is now a different container since we have a different container ID
51:36
since we have a different container ID
51:36
since we have a different container ID for our app but if you are um connected
51:39
for our app but if you are um connected
51:39
for our app but if you are um connected to a specific container So you will see
51:41
to a specific container So you will see
51:41
to a specific container So you will see all of the users that are being
51:43
all of the users that are being
51:43
all of the users that are being connected So if I connect to another one
51:46
connected So if I connect to another one
51:46
connected So if I connect to another one So this will also connect or this will
51:48
So this will also connect or this will
51:48
So this will also connect or this will also um this will also update other
51:51
also um this will also update other
51:51
also um this will also update other connected users as well so yeah um
51:55
connected users as well so yeah um
51:55
connected users as well so yeah um that's um My very quick demo from for
51:58
that's um My very quick demo from for
51:58
that's um My very quick demo from for azure fluid relay So I will not um go on
52:02
azure fluid relay So I will not um go on
52:02
azure fluid relay So I will not um go on all of the code for this brainstorm app
52:04
all of the code for this brainstorm app
52:04
all of the code for this brainstorm app So this is also an example So I just
52:06
So this is also an example So I just
52:06
So this is also an example So I just pick some parts but I I did not create
52:08
pick some parts but I I did not create
52:09
pick some parts but I I did not create all of this application so they can
52:10
all of this application so they can
52:10
all of this application so they can Actually for this um the reference is
52:13
Actually for this um the reference is
52:13
Actually for this um the reference is also on my slide as well so yeah Uh
52:17
also on my slide as well so yeah Uh
52:17
also on my slide as well so yeah Uh that's it for the demo that I have so
52:20
that's it for the demo that I have so
52:20
that's it for the demo that I have so Okay let's go back to our
52:24
Okay let's go back to our
52:24
Okay let's go back to our slide right
52:27
slide right
52:27
slide right so yeah um That's my quick demo for
52:29
so yeah um That's my quick demo for
52:29
so yeah um That's my quick demo for azure fluid relay and I hope you
52:32
azure fluid relay and I hope you
52:32
azure fluid relay and I hope you understand
52:33
understand
52:33
understand Um what does azure fluid relay is
52:37
Um what does azure fluid relay is
52:37
Um what does azure fluid relay is contributing or how does it Make it
52:39
contributing or how does it Make it
52:39
contributing or how does it Make it easier for us to create realtime
52:40
easier for us to create realtime
52:40
easier for us to create realtime collaboration so it's Uh basically cabor
52:45
collaboration so it's Uh basically cabor
52:45
collaboration so it's Uh basically cabor a collaboration with using containers So
52:48
a collaboration with using containers So
52:48
a collaboration with using containers So this is not actually docker so It's more
52:50
this is not actually docker so It's more
52:50
this is not actually docker so It's more of like as just a container for azure
52:53
of like as just a container for azure
52:53
of like as just a container for azure fluid so It's very different on the
52:55
fluid so It's very different on the
52:55
fluid so It's very different on the concept of docker but but it's still
52:56
concept of docker but but it's still
52:56
concept of docker but but it's still called containers and it's using shared
53:00
called containers and it's using shared
53:00
called containers and it's using shared Uh data objects by using your um
53:02
Uh data objects by using your um
53:02
Uh data objects by using your um preferred data structure so It also has
53:05
preferred data structure so It also has
53:05
preferred data structure so It also has a low latency So if you can see or as
53:07
a low latency So if you can see or as
53:07
a low latency So if you can see or as you can see a while ago so it's already
53:09
you can see a while ago so it's already
53:09
you can see a while ago so it's already connected to the fluid service but the
53:11
connected to the fluid service but the
53:11
connected to the fluid service but the real time is almost like um less than a
53:15
real time is almost like um less than a
53:15
real time is almost like um less than a second or you will you will Actually see
53:17
second or you will you will Actually see
53:17
second or you will you will Actually see the updates on time and you will Al you
53:22
the updates on time and you will Al you
53:22
the updates on time and you will Al you will need to worry only about the front
53:24
will need to worry only about the front
53:24
will need to worry only about the front end code So that's why it's called Cent
53:27
end code So that's why it's called Cent
53:27
end code So that's why it's called Cent client centric model
53:29
client centric model
53:29
client centric model application right so there are other
53:32
application right so there are other
53:32
application right so there are other advantages of azure fluid relay so my
53:35
advantages of azure fluid relay so my
53:35
advantages of azure fluid relay so my first Uh my first example which is the
53:38
first Uh my first example which is the
53:38
first Uh my first example which is the dice roller so it's actually using a
53:40
dice roller so it's actually using a
53:40
dice roller so it's actually using a plain JavaScript So if you're not using
53:42
plain JavaScript So if you're not using
53:42
plain JavaScript So if you're not using any frameworks for your frontend so you
53:44
any frameworks for your frontend so you
53:44
any frameworks for your frontend so you can still use asure fluid Uh relay but
53:48
can still use asure fluid Uh relay but
53:48
can still use asure fluid Uh relay but if you are using frontend frameworks
53:49
if you are using frontend frameworks
53:49
if you are using frontend frameworks like angular react or view so you can
53:52
like angular react or view so you can
53:52
like angular react or view so you can still use azure fluid relay and um They
53:55
still use azure fluid relay and um They
53:55
still use azure fluid relay and um They have their own library that are
53:57
have their own library that are
53:57
have their own library that are implemented for this specific framework
53:59
implemented for this specific framework
53:59
implemented for this specific framework But I'm not sure um if it's available
54:01
But I'm not sure um if it's available
54:01
But I'm not sure um if it's available already for other frameworks like Astro
54:04
already for other frameworks like Astro
54:04
already for other frameworks like Astro or um next but I would say it is um just
54:07
or um next but I would say it is um just
54:07
or um next but I would say it is um just check their documentation um for azure
54:10
check their documentation um for azure
54:10
check their documentation um for azure fluid relay and they really have a good
54:12
fluid relay and they really have a good
54:13
fluid relay and they really have a good documentation for you to implement azure
54:15
documentation for you to implement azure
54:15
documentation for you to implement azure fluid relay for your specific or for
54:17
fluid relay for your specific or for
54:17
fluid relay for your specific or for your preferred frameworks right Okay so
54:21
your preferred frameworks right Okay so
54:21
your preferred frameworks right Okay so for the references so I have included it
54:23
for the references so I have included it
54:24
for the references so I have included it here um So if you want to learn more
54:25
here um So if you want to learn more
54:25
here um So if you want to learn more about asure fluid relay so my um topic
54:29
about asure fluid relay so my um topic
54:29
about asure fluid relay so my um topic it's just a Preview so it's just an
54:31
it's just a Preview so it's just an
54:31
it's just a Preview so it's just an introduction So if you want to explore
54:33
introduction So if you want to explore
54:33
introduction So if you want to explore more or if you want to use azure fluid
54:36
more or if you want to use azure fluid
54:36
more or if you want to use azure fluid relay for your applications or for your
54:38
relay for your applications or for your
54:38
relay for your applications or for your um for your web apps so feel free to
54:43
um for your web apps so feel free to

54:48
documentation and um they have a lot of
54:48
documentation and um they have a lot of things to offer so for example I have
54:51
things to offer so for example I have
54:51
things to offer so for example I have not demoed authentication for my
54:54
not demoed authentication for my
54:54
not demoed authentication for my application or i have not demo treated
54:57
application or i have not demo treated
54:57
application or i have not demo treated some parts like deploying it into Static
54:59
some parts like deploying it into Static
54:59
some parts like deploying it into Static web apps or integrating it into um azure
55:02
web apps or integrating it into um azure
55:02
web apps or integrating it into um azure functions so they also have it on their
55:04
functions so they also have it on their
55:04
functions so they also have it on their documentation as well So this is um the
55:08
documentation as well So this is um the
55:08
documentation as well So this is um the references I have so I will share my

slides Later on and um I also shared the
55:14
slides Later on and um I also shared the github which is an example um for an
55:18
github which is an example um for an
55:18
github which is an example um for an application which is using azure fluid
55:20
application which is using azure fluid
55:20
application which is using azure fluid relay as well All right and Yeah that's
55:23
relay as well All right and Yeah that's

also have my or you can also um fork or clone my um repository I'm not sure if I
55:58
clone my um repository I'm not sure if I
55:58
clone my um repository I'm not sure if I already um pushed my code in my github
56:02
already um pushed my code in my github
56:02
already um pushed my code in my github account but Yeah I can also do that as
56:03
account but Yeah I can also do that as

56:08
Yeah it's actually available as an open source and um Yeah um feel free to reach
56:11
source and um Yeah um feel free to reach
56:12
source and um Yeah um feel free to reach me out guys and Yep thank you everyone

me out guys and Yep thank you everyone and happy coding and I hope you like our
56:17
and happy coding and I hope you like our
56:18
and happy coding and I hope you like our topic for
56:24
today okay
56:26
today okay
56:26
today okay Yes thank you so much for your awesome
56:31
Yes thank you so much for your awesome
56:31
Yes thank you so much for your awesome presentation learned a lot something new
56:34
presentation learned a lot something new
56:34
presentation learned a lot something new about
56:36
about
56:36
about Asher Yes thank you for the great
56:39
Asher Yes thank you for the great
56:39
Asher Yes thank you for the great presentation we did not have any live
56:42
presentation we did not have any live
56:42
presentation we did not have any live questions but I do have one Do you have
56:46
questions but I do have one Do you have
56:46
questions but I do have one Do you have any questions can I can go
56:49
any questions can I can go
56:49
any questions can I can go first Yeah a couple of questions first
56:52
first Yeah a couple of questions first
56:52
first Yeah a couple of questions first Do you know what kind of technology is
56:55
Do you know what kind of technology is
56:55
Do you know what kind of technology is used you know behind the hood What makes
56:58
used you know behind the hood What makes
56:58
used you know behind the hood What makes this functionality happen oh the fluid
57:01
this functionality happen oh the fluid
57:01
this functionality happen oh the fluid fre honestly I don't know Uh when I
57:03
fre honestly I don't know Uh when I
57:03
fre honestly I don't know Uh when I started using it I thought it was using
57:06
started using it I thought it was using
57:06
started using it I thought it was using signal R as well but um Yeah because
57:09
signal R as well but um Yeah because
57:09
signal R as well but um Yeah because azure it's not really azure fluid
57:12
azure it's not really azure fluid
57:12
azure it's not really azure fluid service It's not really from azure they
57:14
service It's not really from azure they
57:14
service It's not really from azure they just integrated it so you can Actually
57:16
just integrated it so you can Actually
57:16
just integrated it so you can Actually use fluid service as a standalone but
57:19
use fluid service as a standalone but
57:19
use fluid service as a standalone but when when azure integrated it It's much
57:22
when when azure integrated it It's much
57:22
when when azure integrated it It's much easier now to deploy fluid service Yeah
57:25
easier now to deploy fluid service Yeah
57:25
easier now to deploy fluid service Yeah I did good
57:34
that's been integrated with Asher Uh is
57:38
that's been integrated with Asher Uh is
57:38
that's been integrated with Asher Uh is that correct
57:39
that correct
57:39
that correct um like Ser I see in the documentation
57:42
um like Ser I see in the documentation
57:42
um like Ser I see in the documentation they kind of link to fluid framework Uh
57:46
they kind of link to fluid framework Uh
57:46
they kind of link to fluid framework Uh in this one which I'm not so familiar
57:48
in this one which I'm not so familiar
57:48
in this one which I'm not so familiar with in terms of the front and client
57:52
with in terms of the front and client
57:52
with in terms of the front and client part but it's interesting um yes will
57:56
part but it's interesting um yes will
57:56
part but it's interesting um yes will definitely look it up Uh which leads me
57:59
definitely look it up Uh which leads me
57:59
definitely look it up Uh which leads me to my questions What are the Typical use
58:01
to my questions What are the Typical use
58:01
to my questions What are the Typical use cases for this one I mean Uh you worked
58:05
cases for this one I mean Uh you worked
58:05
cases for this one I mean Uh you worked a lot with development especially with
58:07
a lot with development especially with
58:07
a lot with development especially with angular Uh full stock web development
58:10
angular Uh full stock web development
58:10
angular Uh full stock web development with Asher but if you are a web
58:13
with Asher but if you are a web
58:13
with Asher but if you are a web developer a developer and you're going
58:15
developer a developer and you're going
58:15
developer a developer and you're going to choose which azure service to use
58:17
to choose which azure service to use
58:17
to choose which azure service to use Where we have asure Static web apps
58:20
Where we have asure Static web apps
58:20
Where we have asure Static web apps asure up service When do you think in
58:24
asure up service When do you think in
58:24
asure up service When do you think in your perspective has experience in this
58:27
your perspective has experience in this
58:27
your perspective has experience in this you can definitely use aure fluid relay
58:31
you can definitely use aure fluid relay
58:31
you can definitely use aure fluid relay In Your app development I mean which
58:34
In Your app development I mean which
58:34
In Your app development I mean which specific case to use it when do you
58:37
specific case to use it when do you
58:37
specific case to use it when do you consider not to use it and do something
58:39
consider not to use it and do something
58:39
consider not to use it and do something else Yeah um Yeah that's a good question
58:43
else Yeah um Yeah that's a good question
58:43
else Yeah um Yeah that's a good question Jona um Actually we're now using Uh
58:46
Jona um Actually we're now using Uh
58:46
Jona um Actually we're now using Uh fluid relay in our current application
58:48
fluid relay in our current application
58:48
fluid relay in our current application we are building so for the use case um I
58:51
we are building so for the use case um I
58:51
we are building so for the use case um I would say yeah right now It's being used
58:53
would say yeah right now It's being used
58:53
would say yeah right now It's being used with Microsoft loop so it's Yeah it's
58:56
with Microsoft loop so it's Yeah it's
58:56
with Microsoft loop so it's Yeah it's being used for building collaboration
58:59
being used for building collaboration
58:59
being used for building collaboration apps Like for example for documentation
59:01
apps Like for example for documentation
59:01
apps Like for example for documentation something like that So if you want to
59:03
something like that So if you want to
59:03
something like that So if you want to have Uh if you want to have
59:06
have Uh if you want to have
59:06
have Uh if you want to have collaborative apps like um The Notes
59:09
collaborative apps like um The Notes
59:09
collaborative apps like um The Notes like just like what notion or loop is
59:11
like just like what notion or loop is
59:11
like just like what notion or loop is doing So that's Actually the app that we
59:13
doing So that's Actually the app that we
59:14
doing So that's Actually the app that we are currently doing right now and Uh
59:17
are currently doing right now and Uh
59:17
are currently doing right now and Uh from our case study so we are Actually
59:20
from our case study so we are Actually
59:20
from our case study so we are Actually comparing signal r and fluid relay but
59:24
comparing signal r and fluid relay but
59:24
comparing signal r and fluid relay but in our case I would say It's much more
59:26
in our case I would say It's much more
59:26
in our case I would say It's much more faster building real time using fluid
59:29
faster building real time using fluid
59:29
faster building real time using fluid relay compared to signal R because Yeah
59:31
relay compared to signal R because Yeah
59:31
relay compared to signal R because Yeah for example signal R We are still
59:33
for example signal R We are still
59:33
for example signal R We are still configuring stuff on the back end for
59:35
configuring stuff on the back end for
59:35
configuring stuff on the back end for example in dnet um how to handle this
59:38
example in dnet um how to handle this
59:38
example in dnet um how to handle this kind of logics and how to merge
59:40
kind of logics and how to merge
59:41
kind of logics and how to merge conflicts on the updates so we don't
59:44
conflicts on the updates so we don't
59:44
conflicts on the updates so we don't need to consider that anymore on fluid
59:46
need to consider that anymore on fluid
59:46
need to consider that anymore on fluid relay So if you really want to have a
59:50
relay So if you really want to have a
59:50
relay So if you really want to have a fast pa development for your
59:53
fast pa development for your
59:53
fast pa development for your collaboration apps then Yeah you can go
59:55
collaboration apps then Yeah you can go
59:55
collaboration apps then Yeah you can go for for fluid of azure fluid but and
59:59
for for fluid of azure fluid but and
59:59
for for fluid of azure fluid but and Yeah on the other hand if Uh when not to
1:00:02
Yeah on the other hand if Uh when not to
1:00:03
Yeah on the other hand if Uh when not to use it um Yeah if you're not using
1:00:05
use it um Yeah if you're not using
1:00:05
use it um Yeah if you're not using really realtime collaboration apps right
1:00:08
really realtime collaboration apps right
1:00:08
really realtime collaboration apps right so it's much more of like an Overkill
1:00:10
so it's much more of like an Overkill
1:00:11
so it's much more of like an Overkill and Yeah it's um it's it's an additional
1:00:14
and Yeah it's um it's it's an additional
1:00:14
and Yeah it's um it's it's an additional cost for for azure services if you
1:00:16
cost for for azure services if you
1:00:17
cost for for azure services if you really need to have collaborative apps
1:00:19
really need to have collaborative apps
1:00:19
really need to have collaborative apps so yeah I think azure fluid can do all
1:00:22
so yeah I think azure fluid can do all
1:00:22
so yeah I think azure fluid can do all of the job as what signal R is doing as
1:00:25
of the job as what signal R is doing as
1:00:25
of the job as what signal R is doing as well okay right interesting I heard on
1:00:29
well okay right interesting I heard on
1:00:29
well okay right interesting I heard on your presentation that you can also
1:00:31
your presentation that you can also
1:00:31
your presentation that you can also integrate it with Asher functions which
1:00:33
integrate it with Asher functions which
1:00:33
integrate it with Asher functions which is great a lot about Asher functions and
1:00:36
is great a lot about Asher functions and
1:00:36
is great a lot about Asher functions and Uh I One More question It's me that has
1:00:38
Uh I One More question It's me that has
1:00:39
Uh I One More question It's me that has lots of questions in the audience are
1:00:40
lots of questions in the audience are
1:00:40
lots of questions in the audience are very Quiet but I know that we have lots
1:00:42
very Quiet but I know that we have lots
1:00:42
very Quiet but I know that we have lots of lots of live audience watching us
1:00:44
of lots of live audience watching us
1:00:44
of lots of live audience watching us right now from different channel Please
1:00:47
right now from different channel Please
1:00:47
right now from different channel Please Don't be shy to ask question and We also
1:00:49
Don't be shy to ask question and We also
1:00:49
Don't be shy to ask question and We also have a After this on Zoom Uh to discuss
1:00:53
have a After this on Zoom Uh to discuss
1:00:53
have a After this on Zoom Uh to discuss and do like very casual interaction if
1:00:56
and do like very casual interaction if
1:00:56
and do like very casual interaction if you're shy but one last question before
1:00:58
you're shy but one last question before
1:00:58
you're shy but one last question before we finalize our session today we are
1:01:02
we finalize our session today we are
1:01:02
we finalize our session today we are over time um how I mean I know that the
1:01:06
over time um how I mean I know that the
1:01:06
over time um how I mean I know that the container is used for customer data
1:01:08
container is used for customer data
1:01:08
container is used for customer data storage But how is Uh once you have
1:01:11
storage But how is Uh once you have
1:01:11
storage But how is Uh once you have deployed the app how is the storage
1:01:13
deployed the app how is the storage
1:01:13
deployed the app how is the storage handled Uh on asure is it some kind of
1:01:17
handled Uh on asure is it some kind of
1:01:17
handled Uh on asure is it some kind of like asure storage or blob How does it
1:01:21
like asure storage or blob How does it
1:01:21
like asure storage or blob How does it work Yeah um for the shared objects it's
1:01:24
work Yeah um for the shared objects it's
1:01:24
work Yeah um for the shared objects it's actually Yeah on the the container
1:01:26
actually Yeah on the the container
1:01:26
actually Yeah on the the container itself but it's separated from the it
1:01:28
itself but it's separated from the it
1:01:28
itself but it's separated from the it has its own storage so it's not for it's
1:01:31
has its own storage so it's not for it's
1:01:31
has its own storage so it's not for it's not using azure blob storage or database
1:01:34
not using azure blob storage or database
1:01:34
not using azure blob storage or database so Yeah it's called container but um
1:01:37
so Yeah it's called container but um
1:01:37
so Yeah it's called container but um maybe under the the hood
1:01:39
maybe under the the hood
1:01:39
maybe under the the hood They're They're using also another kind
1:01:42
They're They're using also another kind
1:01:42
They're They're using also another kind of storage something like that because
1:01:45
of storage something like that because
1:01:45
of storage something like that because Yeah for example if we try to Uh Maybe
1:01:47
Yeah for example if we try to Uh Maybe
1:01:47
Yeah for example if we try to Uh Maybe it's a database also or a no sequel
1:01:50
it's a database also or a no sequel
1:01:50
it's a database also or a no sequel database because we can Actually define
1:01:52
database because we can Actually define
1:01:52
database because we can Actually define uh what is the data structure that we're
1:01:55
uh what is the data structure that we're
1:01:55
uh what is the data structure that we're going to used on how to Store the data
1:01:58
going to used on how to Store the data
1:01:58
going to used on how to Store the data so yeah It's like a separate storage So
1:02:00
so yeah It's like a separate storage So
1:02:00
so yeah It's like a separate storage So you're not connecting any blob storage
1:02:02
you're not connecting any blob storage
1:02:02
you're not connecting any blob storage or other um other ways of storing data
1:02:06
or other um other ways of storing data
1:02:06
or other um other ways of storing data in our fluid Okay all right Thank you so
1:02:09
in our fluid Okay all right Thank you so
1:02:09
in our fluid Okay all right Thank you so much I won't bombard you with lots of
1:02:11
much I won't bombard you with lots of
1:02:11
much I won't bombard you with lots of question I'll save it for for our
1:02:14
question I'll save it for for our
1:02:14
question I'll save it for for our session on the Zoom later But anyway um
1:02:18
session on the Zoom later But anyway um
1:02:18
session on the Zoom later But anyway um anything else do you want to share our h
1:02:20
anything else do you want to share our h
1:02:20
anything else do you want to share our h Do you have any question to say J before
1:02:22
Do you have any question to say J before
1:02:22
Do you have any question to say J before we ask him for the last words
1:02:26
we ask him for the last words
1:02:26
we ask him for the last words maybe say maybe you want to share
1:02:28
maybe say maybe you want to share
1:02:28
maybe say maybe you want to share something about your public appearance
1:02:32
something about your public appearance
1:02:32
something about your public appearance in the future here Are you speaking at
1:02:34
in the future here Are you speaking at
1:02:34
in the future here Are you speaking at any conferences or any meetups that you
1:02:36
any conferences or any meetups that you
1:02:36
any conferences or any meetups that you would like to tell us about Yeah After
1:02:39
would like to tell us about Yeah After
1:02:39
would like to tell us about Yeah After this Uh Yeah um After this session um We
1:02:43
this Uh Yeah um After this session um We
1:02:43
this Uh Yeah um After this session um We have a podcast Actually right after this
1:02:46
have a podcast Actually right after this
1:02:46
have a podcast Actually right after this It's 1 pm already so I will be switching
1:02:49
It's 1 pm already so I will be switching
1:02:49
It's 1 pm already so I will be switching to our own community so it's just Yeah
1:02:51
to our own community so it's just Yeah
1:02:51
to our own community so it's just Yeah It will be in mix so it's Tagalog in
1:02:54
It will be in mix so it's Tagalog in
1:02:54
It will be in mix so it's Tagalog in English ah Yeah if we will see viewers
1:02:57
English ah Yeah if we will see viewers
1:02:57
English ah Yeah if we will see viewers that are in other countries then we will
1:02:59
that are in other countries then we will
1:02:59
that are in other countries then we will be forced to speak in English So that's
1:03:01
be forced to speak in English So that's
1:03:01
be forced to speak in English So that's okay Yes fine Yeah you can share about
1:03:03
okay Yes fine Yeah you can share about
