GOOGLE PIXEL | GOOGLE HOME REACTION #MADEBYGOOGLE

Hey guys, so you seemed to enjoy my reaction to the iPhone 7 event last month, so I figured why not make one of the Google event

So I just finished watching the keynote presentation announcing the Google Pixel and the Google Home and the Chromecast Ultra and all of these amazing Google hardware devices

And I gotta say, I was impressed. I've been holding off on upgrading my smartphone, if you saw the iPhone 7 video, which if you didn't, I'll put a link to it up here

But basically I was saying I'm going to switch from my iPhone 6, which I'm using to record this right now, hopefully to an Android phone

I'm thinking about the S7, but I was waiting to hear about news about the Google Pixel. And we got it today

But to be honest with the Pixel, I'm not entirely sure that I want to get it

I think the price itself is very shocking to a lot of people

I think a lot of people were expecting a sub device Personally I would have bought it immediately if it was or around around that range and below being the 32 gigabyte model But the fact that it is for the 32 gigabyte one

I don't know. I think that's a little much for me to justify that right now without seeing any reviews or anything. I think their best claim that made me the most interested is saying that it is

the best smartphone camera on the market right now based on, I don't remember the exact organization

that reviewed it, which is an amazing claim. I've said before in my last video that the camera is

the number one selling point for me with the new phone, as well as the size of the phone. I prefer

smaller phones. This is a little above my size range, but if the camera itself is as great as

they say it is, and better than the S7, I will absolutely get this phone. I'm just going to hold

off a little bit on that until the actual reviews come out versus the, of course, their claims. Of

So I don know I give them the benefit of the doubt Maybe their camera is the best The thing that I actually bought as soon as I watched the stream was the Google Home device At this is an amazing device I an avid user of Amazon Alexa but my downside is you know it Amazon

I mean, it can't tell you too much information. But with the power of Google behind the Google Home device, I think that would be a huge hit

I think it's going to do great. It would be perfect for my uses. it does everything that Alexa can do, but it has the power of Google behind it, so it can do so much

more, and the fact that the Google Assistant is just now starting out, there's probably going to

be so much more that it can do in the future, so I'm super excited about that. Yeah, as soon as I

saw that go live in the store, I ordered it immediately. I don't even care that it says it's

not shipping until November, which kind of sucks, but yeah, getting that for sure, and then the new

Chromecast Ultra which plays 4K content. It's $69. It's basically what you've come to expect with Chromecast

except it does 4K content and it 1 times faster I been holding off I avoided buying the Chromecast too because we didn have a 4K TV or we didn have the need for another one at the time

We have the first Chromecast. But I was holding out for this event and the Chromecast Ultra

sounds like the perfect device for the 4K TV that I have in my living room. We'll probably

move our old Chromecast to the bedroom or something. But yeah, so as soon as that goes

Live I'll be buying that. So overall yeah I think this was a great event by Google

The only disappointment would be the price of the Pixel and I saw a lot of

people on Reddit were kind of complaining about that. But I would like

to know did you guys pre-order the phone and the Google Home today

I'm curious to see you know how you justify the price because I'm on the edge

I really want to but at the same time I want to see camera comparisons between

that and the S7. But if it compares I mean it seems like a great phone

that was a little thick as everyone says but I don't know I feel like it could be justified

um so yeah let me know what you guys think and I've got to get back to work bye
