Hey everyone and welcome to another Bite Size Review where I review a product in 90 seconds
0:04
or less. Today we're reviewing Savage & Cook's Bad Sweater. So first of all, can we acknowledge this adorable sweater that it comes with
0:11
If you have a small chihuahua, you know that could be a nice gift. So Bad Sweater is a brown sugar and holiday spice flavored whiskey
0:18
This is a four year old bourbon that was steeped with cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, cacao nibs, and
0:23
vanilla beans, so it isn't necessarily flavored in the traditional manner, so hopefully that
0:27
means it's not going to be overpoweringly sweet. This is 80 proof and they do tell you the mash
0:32
bill, interestingly enough. It's 71% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. Now they did recommend
0:37
drinking it over ice, so I have my snowball ice cube here to try it out. Now this whiskey was
0:43
only $30 for the bottle, so it's a pretty reasonable price, so my expectations aren't
0:47
too high. But let's go to give it a taste and see how it is. Cheers you guys. You know
0:52
that's not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. This isn't that sweet surprisingly
0:56
And I'm assuming that's because they didn't actually add artificial flavors. They actually steeped bourbon over these spices
1:02
Now, there's no point in me listing flavor notes because I just read out what it was steeped in. You're getting those spices, especially the nutmeg and the cinnamon
1:08
That's what stands out to me. But overall, it does taste like a holiday drink. I think it's a really nice flavor, and I am pleasantly surprised
1:14
Of course, if you're not going to like the flavor thing and you don't like cinnamon or nutmeg, you're not going to like this
1:18
But for $30, it's a pretty cool bottle to have on hand, especially to bring to a party
1:22
But until next time, this has been Bourbon Bites Whiskey Reviews with a gaming twist

I'm Clifton. Cheers and happy holidays
