Perfectly Jointing Curved Veneers Part 2: A Safer Method for Flawless Alignment

It’s been years since I joined veneers with curved edges. I don’t think of it as particularly difficult—but it’s surprisingly easy to mess up. Even with a clean joint line, alignment can go off in subtle ways if you're not paying close attention. A common method for curved joints is to cut both veneers at once or flip them across the same bushing. While that works for large-radius curves, the radius offset caused by the bit diameter can throw off tighter fits. In this video, I share a method that yields a perfect fit—even in tighter curves—by eliminating that margin of error. I didn’t want to risk the typical approach, and I’m glad I didn’t.
