54 Seconds in 2018: Breaking My Own Limits
Sep 24, 2025
Sometimes the biggest barrier isn’t skill, but the limits we place on ourselves. For years I was happy turning chair rungs in 90 seconds. It felt efficient, consistent, and good enough. When our marketing guy, Kevin Barnes, asked if I could do one in under 60 seconds for Instagram, I told him it was impossible. But with sharp tools, focused moves, and a deep breath, I surprised myself: 54 seconds.
The lesson isn’t about speed—it’s about possibility. We’re capable of more than we think, if we’re willing to try.
