Slow Cooker Honey BBQ Pork Tenderloin with a Sweet Kick Recipe
Ingredients: 2 lbs pork tenderloin, 1 cup honey, 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp sriracha, 3 garlic cloves (minced), 1 tsp ginger (grated), 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp water, green onions (chopped, optional). Instructions: Place pork tenderloin in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt until combined. Pour the mixture over the pork, ensuring it’s fully coated. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the pork is tender and pulls apart easily. Once cooked, remove pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Set aside. Transfer the sauce from the slow cooker to a saucepan. In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water, then stir it into the sauce. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens (about 2-3 minutes). Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and pour the thickened sauce over it, mixing well. Let it sit for 10 minutes to soak up the flavors. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy with rice, buns, or your favorite side.
