Welcome to our daily encounter with the Word of God! Today we reflect on the readings from the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 17:15,22–18:1) and the Gospel according to Saint John (John 16:12-15). These passages speak to us about boldly proclaiming the Gospel and trusting in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. First Reading (Acts 17:15,22–18:1): In Athens, Paul addresses the philosophers at the Areopagus. Using the altar dedicated to the "Unknown God" as a starting point, he proclaims the one true God, Creator of all, who desires to be known by humanity. While some mock him, others believe and open their hearts to the faith. This passage teaches us the importance of engaging the world with wisdom and faith. Paul shows how to announce Christ clearly, even in difficult environments, by finding points of connection that speak to the human heart. Gospel (John 16:12-15): Jesus, preparing His disciples for His departure, promises the Holy Spirit — the Spirit of Truth — who will guide them into all truth. The Spirit will not speak on His own but will reveal what He hears from the Father and the Son. This passage invites us to trust in the action of the Spirit in our lives. He continues to teach and guide us, keeping Jesus’ Word alive within us. Reflection and Call to Conversion Today’s readings inspire us to be courageous proclaimers of the faith, always attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Like Paul, may we share the Gospel wisely, and like the disciples, remain open to the truth from above. May the Word of God strengthen your faith! Share in the comments how the Holy Spirit has been guiding your path and mission. 📖 Readings of the Day: First Reading: Acts 17:15,22–18:1
