Welcome to our daily encounter with the Word of God! Today, we are presented with three powerful readings that tell us about the temple of God, both in its physical and spiritual dimensions. Through the First Reading (Ezekiel 47,1-2.8-9.12), Second Reading (1Cor 3,9c-11.16-17) and the Gospel (John 2,13-22), we are invited to reflect on our relationship with the sacred and our own status as living temples of the Holy Spirit. First Reading (Ezekiel 47,1-2.8-9.12): In Ezekiel's prophetic vision, we contemplate the water that flows from the Temple, bringing life and fertility wherever it passes. This miraculous water represents divine grace that flows abundantly, transforming deserts into gardens and bringing healing to all creatures. The prophet presents us with a beautiful image of God's transforming power, which makes life sprout even in the most unlikely places. Second Reading (1Cor 3,9c-11.16-17): Saint Paul presents us with a fundamental truth: we are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit dwells in us. The apostle reminds us that we were built on the only foundation that is Jesus Christ, and that we must jealously preserve this sacred abode that is our bodies and our community. This reading invites us to reflect on the dignity of being a dwelling place for God himself. Gospel (John 2,13-22): Jesus, moved by holy zeal, purifies the Temple of Jerusalem, expelling the sellers and money changers. This remarkable episode reveals to us not only his authority as Son of God, but also teaches us about the need to maintain a pure heart and free from everything that separates us from God. Christ speaks of the temple of his body, which would be destroyed and rebuilt in three days, prefiguring his death and resurrection. These readings invite us to deeply reflect on how we are taking care of the temple that we are, both individually and as a community. May we allow the living water of the Holy Spirit to flow within us, purifying us and making us increasingly worthy of being God's home. 📖 Readings of the Day: First Reading: Ezekiel 47.1-2.8-9.12 Second Reading: 1Cor 3.9c-11.16-17 Gospel: John 2,13-22 🌟 Related Hashtags: #Biblical Reading #DiaryReflection #God's Word #Deus'Temple #HolyHoly Spirit #EspiritualPurification #VidaEmCristo #VidaEmCristo #IgrejaCatólica #bibliacatolica List of Best Keywords: Temple of God, Living Water, Spiritual Purification, Abode of the Holy Spirit, Zeal for the House of God, Holiness, Spiritual Transformation, Life in Christ, Foundation in Christ, Living Church.
