OpenAI In Talks With Helion

OpenAI is in early talks with Helion Energy for up to 50 gigawatts of fusion power by 2035 to supply AI data centers. Helion already has a 50MW deal with Microsoft and competes with Commonwealth Fusion Systems, which has agreements with Google, as the race for clean AI energy heats up.
