Rocky Gyoury, 11, in the Bay Radio studio on Thursday with Dougie Mack speaking on his terrifying encounter with an Instagram hacker last week.
Rocky and mum Victoria are now spending 50 days raising awareness about the dangers of social media – especially how hackers trick children into handing over personal details.
They are warning children:
-NOT to click on any hyperlinks from strangers
-NOT to accept messages from people you don't know
-Make your social media accounts private
-Monitor young children using the internet
-Check your children for signs of cyber bullying
