Let me give you a close-up so you can see what's going on with it and I'll tell you just a little bit about it

It's running off a Seiko VH31 mechanism and this one's really cool

because it actually does four ticks per second. As you can see it gives you a very mechanical movement

So it looks like it's an old wind-up watch but it's not. Very nice

Now it's a 38 millimeter case and it's 17 millimeters all the way to the very top of the crystal

and that crystal is a 3 millimeter double dome sapphire crystal. So that's pretty sweet

Let me put it on my wrist and while I'm doing that let me tell you it comes in a lot of different colors

So this is topaz blue but it also comes in noir, blanc, marine, rouge, gold and maroon

and it's a nice complement to my blue shirt. That's important. And the band, let's talk about the band just a little bit. So this is a ZRC Buffalo watch strap band

It's 20 millimeters with an actual aluminum buckle. Handmade in France. Pretty sweet

And it's a full grain leather so it's designed to age and to get a nice rich patina on it. It's pretty nice

Now one thing you might not realize that differentiates this from an original antique watch

is that it's actually waterproof to five atmospheres. So how deep is five atmospheres

It's 130 feet or 40 meters. So if you wear this and you accidentally fall into the hot tub, it's not a crisis

If you wear this on a date in say Cannes or something, go on the way to the film festival and it starts to drizzle
