hi in this video I'm going to show you
0:03
on how you can use the Magic Eraser
0:05
feature in confab Magic Eraser is an AI
0:09
feature in cona that is used to
0:11
essentially isolate an object and then
0:14
later you could remove that object from
0:15
a photo so this is extremely useful and
0:19
it's making photo editing a lot quicker
0:22
because back in the day we have to
0:24
isolate the object manually we have to
0:26
select the object and even that the
0:28
result is not great so with this new
0:31
feature making uh sorry erasing an
0:34
element or an object from a photo is
0:36
going to be a lot quicker and easier so
0:40
uh if you want to remove uh let's say an
0:42
object you have to upload the picture to
0:45
your confa document and after that you
0:47
want to click on the picture and you
0:49
want to click edit and after that on the
0:52
magic Studio you want to click Magic
0:54
Eraser so click on it and let's say I
0:58
want to remove this ball so there are
1:00
two different mode the first mode is the
1:03
brush mode so basically you have to
1:05
manually select this object you don't
1:07
have to do it perfectly because the AI
1:09
will understand uh the object that you
1:12
are trying to remove so when you do that
1:14
when you click on it the AI will
1:17
understand that even though the
1:18
selection is not perfect it understand
1:21
that you want to remove this object so
1:24
uh this is going to be a lot quicker
1:26
process and this is the result do I like
1:29
it AB absolutely not so let's try a
1:32
different method which is by using the
1:33
click mode so I'm going to click reset
1:36
first and let's try the click
1:39
mode and hopefully this one will give us
1:43
a different result so what's happening
1:45
now is AI actually will scan the picture
1:48
and try to give you some object that you
1:51
can click or you can select so you can
1:55
click uh this ball you can also click
1:57
the the person so as you can see here
2:00
when you click on it and then you can
2:01
click erase it will remove that object
2:05
that you
2:06
select okay now we just have to wait
2:08
until it
2:10
finish this usually will take less than
2:13
20 seconds and I think the result is
2:15
slightly better compared to the previous
2:18
method although again it is not perfect
2:21
so that was uh by using the Magic Eraser
2:24
feature but uh this is not the end of of
2:26
the video because there's another
2:27
feature that you could use to
2:30
do the same but maybe slightly better
2:32
because that object is not completely G
2:35
you can basically move the object
2:37
somewhere else so let's try something
2:40
else let's click the image go to the
2:43
edit menu again and you want to click
2:45
magic
2:46
crab and now uh I do recommend using the
2:50
click method because it's just a lot
2:52
quicker and cleaner and I'm going to
2:54
click on this ball and I'm going to
2:56
click grab so what's going to happen is
2:59
the AI will take this picture of a ball
3:02
from the rest of the image and it's
3:05
going to be an independent picture which
3:07
later we can modify or we can move it
3:09
somewhere else so for example I could
3:11
put it here I put it here I could put it
3:15
here uh there are there are a lot of
3:17
things that you can do because now it is
3:19
no longer part of the original image and
3:22
I personally use this method a lot more
3:25
compared to just removing the Magic
3:27
Eraser so that's basically Bally it uh
3:30
that's how you can use the Magic Eraser
3:32
feature in Cana I hope you find this
3:34
video to be helpful and please consider
