So I made this monthly goals tracker in Excel to help me track my monthly goals and keep me motivated

There are a lot of visuals, a lot of formulas that have been applied and together they bring out

nice simple visuals that will help me track my goals. For example, I have the go column here

where I'm going to enter my goals, then the actual and the target. Then all these will populate

depending on what I have done in these two columns. So I want to make a total of 2,000 in income

As a target, I'll say 2,000. Then I want to read four books, I'll say four

Write 10 blog posts, 10. Apply for 10 jobs, I'll say 10

Make four YouTube videos, I'll say four. Add two data ytics projects to my portfolio, two

And finally, visit five extended family members and that would be a five

So these are my targets for the month. But as the month goes by or as the month ends, there'll be things that I would have done and others that I've not done

There will be targets that I'll meet and others I'll not meet. So those I'll put the actual things that I've done, I'll put them in here

Let's say I only managed to make 1,800 and I only managed to read three books

Then I wrote 12 blog posts. I applied to nine companies. Then I made four YouTube videos

I managed to do this one as well and visited 10 family members

So you can see once I've entered my actuals and my target, the rest populate

You can see here this shows the difference between my target and the thing that I've done

For example I wanted to make 2000 I only made 1800 and the difference is 200 In other cases like this one my target was to write 10 blog posts I wrote 12 that shows that I above target and added the green highlight there just to give me a little bit of motivation

As far as the status is concerned, when something has been done like this one, it will say complete

and it will highlight in the light green color. But when it has not been done like this one

instead of 10, I did 9, then it will say incomplete. Then you also have the progress bar here that

shows in percentage how far I've gone. This table shows the number of goals that I've completed and

their percentage, the number of goals that are above target and also the number of goals that

I've not completed. Then I have this chart here that shows the progress that I've made. So this

green part is my progress showing how far I've gone with my goals. So you'll be able to see if

I change let's say this one to 4 this will increase. If I change this one to 10 again I have that

progress. Apart from that you can add more goals there. So just go to the end of the table and

press tab. Then you can add another goal here. Let's say make 10 YouTube shots like so. So the

target is to make 10 and let's say by the end of the month I only manage to make 9 and that will

show us the progress there and that it's incomplete. It will also be added to this one that I have two

that I've not completed and six that I've completed and it reduces my progress there
