Hello, hello! This is Dave from AIPTComics.com behind the camera. And what we have for you
0:13
today is an unboxing of Marvel's Poison, which is part of the new Venom build-a-figure
0:18
sorry, it's the new Venom Marvel Legends Venom wave, with the build-a-figure of the monster
0:24
Venom. This is a relatively new figure, sorry, character. Poison was created by Cullen Bunn
0:31
and he actually, they had a little event. It's a character that actually hunts and kills
0:35
symbiotes, and maybe kills is the wrong word. It converts symbiotes into this hard shell
0:41
kind of, I don't even know what you'd call it, I guess it would be like a leech, like
0:45
a, eh, it's like a symbiote of a symbiote, right? So, I don't know if you can get that
0:53
This figure is part of, obviously I said, the monster Venom wave, which has other figures
0:58
We've already unboxed the Spider-Ham, Carnage, Typhoid Mary, Scream. So we're getting there
1:05
we're almost complete with our monster Venom, which we'll also have a video for. Customary
1:10
of all Marvel Legends, there is some sweet photography of the figure on the back. These
1:14
tendrils coming out of his chest are pretty cool, it's a creepy figure. It's almost like
1:18
a helmet, but it's symbiotes-esque. On the sides we have some art of the symbiote, oh
1:24
sorry, Poison. This is a good, I mean, it's a new figure that a lot of people won't know
1:29
but it's a good figure for this line because it is an enemy of Venom and all symbiotes
1:36
So let's unbox this. Really, you just have to cut this one piece of tape on the bottom
1:41
and you can open the box from there, or tear it a little bit. Alright. So, no accessories
1:57
with this figure besides the bath arm of monster Venom, and the poison itself. Oh, it's got
2:05
some tape holding back the tendrils. That's pretty good, it protects the tendrils if in
2:11
shipping they were to move, it wouldn't break or bend to the point of sort of permanently
2:17
being bent. Which is very, very likely, I've had figures with their ankles sort of bent
2:23
permanently. Okay. Alright, he's got a lot going on in his chest, huh? I guess it was
2:34
chest day. So, this figure is creepy. It's got some interesting detailing with some silver
2:43
This is a mold that's a little different than Spider-Man, as you can see. Well, this is
2:49
Superior Spider-Man with the carnage head, but as you can see, he's a bit bulkier in the chest. Actually, he's got some armor going on, plating all around. Very, like, subtle
3:02
detail on this one, which you may not immediately notice in pictures. That includes, like, his
3:08
big thumb with a blade on it, and a bit of silver here on the back of his, I don't know
3:19
what you call them, gauntlet kind of arm things. This big spider in the front is also kind
3:27
of coming off, along with these tendrils. This is definitely a new thing for Marvel
3:32
Legends. They've never really done detailing like this. Coming with little plastic tendrils
3:37
that may break off. They seem really on there, though. Which is cool. It shows you that they're
3:44
always improving and whatnot. The mold itself is pretty standard. You've got the double
3:50
joint on the knee. The ankle goes all the way around. The head goes all the way around
3:57
And it goes back and forth, like so. This one's a little loose. Not too bad, though
4:04
Yeah, a little loose. When you go all the way front and back, the black continues, which
4:09
is a must if you're going to pose it in any way you want. Marvel Legends are really poseable
4:13
figures. That's one reason why I think they're so popular. You can kind of create your own
4:18
scenes. I wasn't a huge fan of the Poison characters, so I'm not super jazzed about
4:23
this character. That said, it's a pretty cool design. We'll see if Marvel keeps using them
4:28
or not. I have my doubts. But definitely some creepy little details like the spine. So
4:37
what did you think of this video? Let us know in the comments. We're going to be unboxing
4:40
the rest of this series, as well as videotaping the AF, the monster venom, which is going
4:46
to be pretty sweet. So, if you go to aptcomics.com, you can see Full Score with Pictures. Please
4:53
subscribe if you like this video or if you want to be notified when the next unboxing
4:58
comes out. Thank you for watching. And I'll catch you later
