Thanks for coming along everyone tonight and welcome to our exhibition
0:14
We were so happy to bring this to life again here at Comic-Con this year, especially in
0:21
light of our 10 year anniversary year that we're leading into with Coraline
0:29
And do we have a treat for you tonight. I would like to welcome the beautiful and talented other mother, Terri Hatcher
0:40
Come on in Terri. Thank you. Would you like to say a few words
0:47
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to be here. I just, Coraline was one of the, I'm having the same thing you're having. Microphone
0:57
Okay, is that better? In and out, but it'll do. Coraline was the best thing I ever did
1:03
I seriously, I'm so proud to be a part of the Laika family and to have had the opportunity
1:15
to participate in that movie and to see it get to 10 years
1:20
I can't believe that it's been that long, but it's so heartwarming that so many new
1:26
fans are coming to love the movie and that it just holds its own over time
1:34
And I'm just honored to have been a part of it and I'm so grateful to be here tonight
1:38
with you all. The most amazing voice performance ever. Would you agree
1:44
Thank you so much. Well, thank you. I like that I have that voice on film locked in forever because who knows what's going
1:54
to happen the rest of me. I think not. Brilliant. And like you said, new fans every day
2:02
There's a whole new generation. The film looks as bright and beautiful today as when you were watching it 10 years ago
2:08
And there's a whole new life for it now with 10 years
2:12
We have big plans over the next year. Different ways that we're going to extend the brand
2:18
Henry actually, it wasn't like a thing where, oh, Teri Asher wants to put her daughter in
2:22
the movie. Henry said, well, okay, I'll audition her. And so he auditioned her voice for like an hour and he decided that she could do the
2:32
voice of a firefly. So when the fireflies fly into Coraline's bedroom in the movie and they go, Coraline
2:40
Coraline, Coraline, Coraline, that's her. And Teri, I think you should do the special line from the film
2:49
Well, I do have to say, I think maybe some people, but people kind of want this as their
2:53
ringtone or whatever. Yes, exactly. I've had now a lot of friends that will have me call their nieces or their young cousins
3:05
like 10, 11 year olds, and I get on the phone and I just go, you can stay forever if you
3:11
want to. And then they go, ah! That's a good line to have. Brilliant
3:19
Thank you again for being with us tonight. Oh, I'm so happy to be here
3:23
You guys all have fun tonight. Thanks for coming. Have fun, everybody
