Me singing Mad, because I could not transfer my video from my phone to my computer, in order to upload to the copyright office. So I decided to make a new one, but apparently, Esau had other plans. He fixed things so that even though, I was playing the keyboard at the same time as I was singing and no special equipment or different track, I could only hear myself singing, not playing!!!! So I turned the keyboard up really, really loud and Still couldn’t hear the keyboard!!!! Wooooooooow!!!! So I decided to do it on the phone again, shorten it and maybe it would upload to the copyright office. Because prior to that, I couldn’t upload it, because it was too big, so finally, I made a shorter one, that I ended up still having to clip and then pay $12.00 and some change for a file converter!!!! But it got uploaded. Eventually, once I got into the song, I calmed down. So that’s one of the many obstacles that a songwriter can run into. However, I do believe that you can still send manual copies like tapes, or maybe even thumb drives. But who wans to? Lol. Rule # 1; Always protect your work. If you are financially disadvantaged, do a “poor man’s copyright”. Send your intellectual property or your idea/s or whatever to yourself, by certified or email. Do not open unless your ownership is challenged.
