Semaglutide's Potential in Reducing Alzheimer's Risk Researchers at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine found that semaglutide, a drug for diabetes and weight loss, may significantly lower Alzheimer’s disease risk in type 2 diabetes patients. In a study published in Alzheimer’s & Dementia, semaglutide users showed a much lower chance of developing Alzheimer’s compared to those on other diabetes medications. Further studies are needed to confirm these findings and explore its neuroprotective effects. #Alzheimers #Diabetes #WeightLoss #HealthResearch #Neurodegeneration
