Hey, good day. Today I am installing a water supply line for a toilet and the location
0:15
you want to have your supply line is to the left of your sewer, your 3 inch. You want
0:24
to have it just to the left of that and because that's on the underside of your tank, on the
0:31
left side, that's where the connection is for the tank, right? So your water supply
0:37
line needs to come out of the wall there because that's the side you're connecting to your tank. So it makes sense, right? And the height you want this off the floor is 6 to 7 inches
0:48
That's what I always go with. Now here I'm going to have a 1 inch subfloor and I think
0:52
a vinyl, a laminate, so I'm going to go 6, 7 and a bit. So you're going to have it come
1:03
out about here. I don't have my pen on me so I'm going to have my supply line come out
1:09
here. Now I'll put one more clamp here but that's basically it. Now that's just over
1:29
7 inches so that will accommodate for my subfloor. I don't have, where are my clips? Here we
1:35
go. Now here are the clips. Another clip just to get this in spot. And make sure it's
1:44
sticking out of the wall at a, you know, at a 90 degree angle. You can, as best as you
1:51
can. Looks good. Okay, that's it. 6 to 7 inches. Now you do that because you want to, unless
2:12
you're having huge baseboards in your bathroom, 6, 7 inches is always going to be high enough
2:20
You don't want to go higher because it's harder to work with. This is just a good location
2:26
Alright, thanks for watching
