Uh hello guys, welcome to this video. So
0:02
in this video, I will show you a VS code
0:04
extension which allows you to open and
0:06
live preview HTML, CSS and PHP files
0:10
inside your local host server.
0:13
It can be any browser, Chrome,
0:18
Firefox. Just write this open PHP/ HTML
0:22
in the extensions tab. This extension
0:24
will come right here. It's used by
0:26
almost five lakh people.
0:29
So simply install this. After installing
0:32
this extension, go to your index.html
0:35
file
0:38
and as you can see it will add this
0:40
option right in the status bar as well.
0:42
Open in browser. So as soon as you do
0:45
this it will open it inside your default
0:48
browser. You can even change this
0:50
setting as well by going to the user
0:52
setting file. So by default Chrome is
0:55
selected but you can delete this.
0:58
So if you delete this and start it from
1:00
scratch,
1:02
it will ask you which browser you want
1:04
to set as your default browser. So here
1:07
from the drop-down you can set either
1:09
Firefox. So now it opens it inside your
1:12
Firefox browser.
1:16
So you can even edit this inside by
1:19
going to your user settings file by
1:22
simply selecting which browser you want
1:24
to select. It can be Chrome, Chromium, a
1:28
custom browser as well. So here you can
1:30
set the custom browser here. So once
1:33
again you can right click as well and
1:35
simply say open in default browser. And
1:39
now it opens your HTML, CSS and
1:42
JavaScript file. It can be a PHP file as
1:44
well. So if I also show you the PHP
1:47
file.
1:51
So if I just write here.
1:57
So as you can see now this is a PHP
1:59
file.
2:07
So in this easy way you can also do
2:09
this.
2:17
Invalid configuration document root
2:19
folder must be set to use HTTP local
2:21
host.
2:26
So, thank you very much for watching
2:28
