Uh hello guys, welcome to this video. So
0:02
in this video, I'll show you how to
0:03
check the ffmpg installed version inside
0:06
your terminal. So first of all, you just
0:09
need to make sure you write ffmpg. If
0:12
the command is successful,
0:14
then you have automatically installed
0:16
ffmpg. It will print out the version as
0:19
well. ffmpg version 7.1.1.
0:22
If you just want to print out only the
0:24
version, you simply write ffmpg-
0:27
version. And this will print out only
0:29
the version right here. You'll see. And
0:32
now if you are wondering where f ofmppg
0:34
is installed in my system, you write
0:36
this command where f ofmppg. So if you
0:39
write this command, it will exactly tell
0:42
you the exact location where ffmppg is
0:44
installed inside your system. So just if
0:46
you want to open this, you copy this
0:50
location and
0:54
so just go to your PC and simply paste
0:58
this location.
1:00
So just paste the folder right here. So
1:03
it's
1:05
you can see it is uh present in this
1:08
directory.
1:11
So in this easy way just run this
1:13
command where f ofmppg. So it will tell
1:15
you the exact location where it is
1:17
installed and then you can give look at
1:19
all these executables. This is your
1:21
ffmpg main executable FF probe FF play.
1:27
So if you still doesn't have FFMPG
1:29
installed, you go to their official
1:32
website, download FFMPG. Just install
1:34
it. It's a cross-platform software. It
1:36
it's available for Linux, Mac and
1:38
Windows. Simply select your operating
1:40
system and simply install this. And in
1:43
this easy way, you can crossverify after
1:45
