Uh hello guys, welcome to this video. So
0:02
in this video, I'll show you if you want
0:04
to disable all the extensions, all the
0:06
installed extensions in VS Code
0:08
temporarily
0:10
for the time being. If you are testing
0:12
something, if you want to disable all
0:14
the extensions, then you can do it
0:16
inside VS Code. Just put the just press
0:20
the shortcut key control shift V and
0:22
open the command pallet and simply type
0:25
here disable
0:27
all extensions. Disable all installed
0:30
extensions.
0:32
So this option will come right here.
0:36
Disable all installed extensions.
0:42
And similarly we also have the option to
0:45
enable all extensions.
0:49
So
0:51
if I just select this option disable all
0:53
installed extensions. So one by one it
0:56
will basically disable all the
0:58
extensions that you have installed here.
1:02
You can see that now each and every
1:05
extensions have been disabled.
1:08
So now you can test
1:10
you can troubleshoot any kind of problem
1:12
that you have inside your VS code by
1:15
disabling all the extensions. So this
1:17
single command will let you do this.
1:19
Simply type control shiftp and just
1:21
search disable all extensions and it
1:24
will disable it. And now if you want to
1:27
enable it simply again type the shortcut
1:30
key control shiftp and go to command
1:32
pallet and simply type here enable all
1:36
extensions.
1:38
So now it will enable one by one all the
1:41
extensions. You can see that. So it's
1:44
that easy. And if you don't want to do
1:47
this, there is one other alternative
1:48
way. You go to the
1:51
profile section right here and you can
1:54
create a new profile. This is my default
1:57
VS code profile here which get which
2:00
contains all these extensions. You can
2:01
click the new profile button and simply
2:04
create a custom profile and uh here you
2:07
basically doesn't install any sort of
2:09
extension. So just simply click the
2:12
create button and then this is your
2:15
simple profile which doesn't contain any
2:18
sort of extensions. So here we can
2:20
simply change this to use this
2:24
use this profile for now you can see it
2:27
doesn't contain any sort of extension.
2:29
So this is the second way by which you
2:31
can create a new profile in VS code to
2:34
actually doesn't contain any extensions.
2:36
So in this easy way you can disable or
2:39
enable extensions in VS code
2:43
and also check out my website
2:46
freemediattools.com
2:47
uh which contains thousands of tools.
