AirVenture Events, Bud Anderson’s 100th Celebration Flight

Yesterday was a memorable day at AirVenture. As always. What a treasure to shoot 100-year-old WWII triple ace Bud Anderson getting a Mustang ride this morning, and then covering his Warbird In Review, masterfully moderated by Connie Bowlin and staged in front of James Hagedorn's P-51D, Jack Roush's P-51B and the CAF's P-39, each painted in Bud's "Old Crow" markings. Great to spend some time with Bud's son Jim Anderson and daughter, Kitty, and Jay Wisler, as well. I have so many great shots and am so tired that I am just going to have to dump some quick edits here tonight before getting some rest in front of another big warbird day tomorrow. By Ron Kaplan
