Chad Hill started Django Studios in 2012 to specialize in Automotive and Aviation Design, Marketing and Branding because of his intense passion for aircraft, cars and graphic design.
Chad works for major brands like Smithfield Foods, Peak Antifreeze, Napa Chassis, Stewart Warner, Snap-On Tools. His work can be seen at a variety of aviation museums and airshows across the US and the UK and has been accepted into the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Chad’s passion for period correct WWII nose art resulted in having painted the C-47 “That’s All Brother”, C-47 “Do It”, B-24 “Ol’ 927, B-25 “Rosie’s Reply” and C-53 “Beach City Baby” and will be painting the nose art on 2 upcoming C-47 restorations in 2022. He is obsessed with the history of WWII aviation and nose arts, there is not a better place than Warbird Alley in Oshkosh to interview Chad about his work. The interview took place at the 2022 AirVenture inside the cabin of an original WWII trainer AT-11 Kansan.
