Spattering lava from a crater of Ambrym volcano, Vanuatu

View onto an active vent inside the Benbow crater on Ambrym volcano (Vanuatu). The open conduit contains a lava lake. When gas escapes from the liquid bursting gas bubbles throw out liquid lava spatter.
