How to install Shopify theme; Free, premium and third party themes!

Hi guys. In this tutorial, I want to show you how to install Shopify theme

Just thank you to an overview of Shopify theme, the premium theme, the tort party theme, the free themes

The teams made by Shopify. So here we are on my Shopify dashboard

All right. And what we're going to do is go to online store and then we just click on themes

So wait for this to look. go down should take only a few minutes okay now here we are we have the down theme which is the

default um shopify theme it's already um there okay so um we can see down theme so let's um just click on view

my online store so we can see what this down theme looks like on the store so we're on the

link to the store and on the link we can see a template for the team and what the thing looks

like a demo sort of and we can see that it has a home page and different sections that could be

edited and customized it has a default contactus page and a default catalog page

where that could also be edited and customized and it also has a default content page as well let's click on that and all of this stuff can be

editive can be customized and that's just what the um down theme the down theme looks like

and it's a theme made by Shopify it's the default Shopify theme so once you just create a new Shopify account you just have the down theme looking at you okay

all right so that's said let's go back um and let me show you debutify so there are themes made by

thought party so for this tutorial i'm going to be showing you the butterfly is a third party theme

which you can download and upload to your shabupefi so for this tutorial i'm going to be showing you the typoify is a third party theme which you can download

and upload to your Shopify dashboard. There are other taught party themes available

but give you an example with W-D-D-D-Fi, which is a good theme

I do recommend DeBi-D-Dify. So here you just create an account. You sign up on your page

You sign up to W-D-5. A link to W-Fy would be on the description

So you just enter your name and your email address. and then you create a password and then you enter the domain where you want your um debilify theme to be

stored as the domain of your shopify store where you want the um the five um theme to be on

and the five store usually has a shopify store usually has um two kind of domain uh your custom

domain if you have one and then the default um Shopify domain that comes with Shopify.com something Shopify.com

So that's the one you'd be required to enter when you're creating your Debrify account

Good. When we clicked on create account, it didn't work. It says the domain format is invalid

Not that it's invalid. It's just the custom domain. So DeBify requires the domain that has Shopify.com and that's the one it's required

So even if you put HTTP, it's still going to show you invalid domain. Okay. So let's go to our Shopify store and let me show you the link that Debify. I want you to

enter so you just click on just copy the link on the tuba is going to have your Shopify

different domain so basically yeah you want to stop copying at dot com copy everything you see up until

com all right so when you copy that we'll go back to um debify sign up page and then that's the

link we are going to put there. All right. So we just put the link there and then we'll let it load out

So we click create an account and then it would be on

Okay, to say an email has been sent and then we need to verify the email address

So would go check out our email address for the deputify. verification email verification so all right okay so once we are now email email you

would see the verification email address for Debitify and then we just click on

verify email address so the email address is going to verify we just let it load all right once it loaded we are going to go back uh we going to see our dashboard um will be logged into our our dashboard and it says welcome to doubleify so on our WIFI

dashboard would um scroll down Okay. And here we can see this button get the theme. So we just have to click on the button that says get the theme

So once we've clicked on it, we'll click on download. And this here, it will show us the version of W5, which is for 10.2. That's the current one

that's the time i'm making this video all right so just um download that and we can see that

is downloading then we'll go back to our shopify um dashboard and then we'll go to um

theme library you see where they say add theme so we're going to click on that add theme

So once we've clicked on add theme, we're going to click on upload zip file

And we're going to click on add file. And we'll just upload the WIFI zip file that we just downloaded

So we upload that file. Okay, so we'll just wait for you to upload

And so this is just how to use third party theme. You download it from the top party website and then you download it as a zip file and then you upload a zip file

That's just how to use taught pattern theme. And they are also free the bivify themes that we could use and premium

things but we'll go much into that later and when you download the theme uh when you click on

actions there are a bunch of things you can do like rename the theme for easy reference

edit the code well you're not a pro or you don't know anything about coding just don't touch the

code and then once it's loaded completely we can um start customizing the theme

all right so um when we click on customize I taking to the W55 customization window Okay but we not be customizing in this tutorial just wanted to show you that so okay if we go to our theme dashboard again

we're going to see the list of themes that we have on that dashboard you can see down

theme which is a different theme de beautify theme and we've uploaded other things

we would also see them here so we just go to Debrify go to action

I'm going to publish because we want this to be the life theme on our site

So once you publish anything, when you search for your website link, you will then see the thing

Anything that is published would be what will show up on your website link

So we'll search for our website link and we go to our domain

we could not see the WDify theme so the site now has the default

deputy five theme all right of course if we make any customizations

you would also come up on the site whenever we publish those customizations

so you can see the WDify theme has home catalog and contact by default it looks pretty

clean nice yeah i recommend this theme so you can see their default contours page and the sections

and you know the card and the headers and everything so this is just the um default theme showing on

our store okay so we go back to our shopify dashboard and i want to show you other things

so now i've showed you the free theme by default how we can upload a theme from a third

party side now there are also free themes here and they are also Shopify theme store so

let's explore the free themes so when we click on explore the free theme we can see a list of free

themes by Shopify that we could make use of okay and then when we click on Shopify theme store

we could see premium themes some of those premium themes are owned by um thought party

web developers and some by Shopify but just some free theme as well as some premium themes we

could find here on the Shopify theme store all right so you could explore these

premium themes and choose anyone you want let me also mention that the Bify has a free

forever plan and also a pay plan we'll discuss that in another tutorial but yeah that's just about it take care
