Boy trapped in elevator after stick gets caught in door in Henan, China

On May 5, 2026 in Henan, China, security video captured an accident involving a boy inside an elevator. In the video, the boy enters the elevator and, while the doors are closing, places a stick between the door gap while holding onto it. Moments later, the stick is pulled upward into the gap, causing the boy to lose balance and fall. When he attempts to leave the elevator, the door appears stuck, prompting him to press multiple elevator buttons in panic. The footage captures a dangerous situation caused by interfering with the elevator doors. According to the author the boy was saved after being stuck in the elevator.
