On December 27, 2025, in Yantai, located in eastern China’s Shandong Province, a video captured a sunny moment at a scenic Area. Groups of seals lay along the edge of a pool, stretching out their whiskered faces and plump bodies as they enjoyed the warmth. A cat also perched on a railing nearby, calmly sharing the sunbathing spot with the larger marine animals. When a keeper fed the seals using long tongs, one seal eagerly opened its mouth wide for more food. The cat walked in front of the waiting seal, briefly blocking its view, but the seal stayed focused on the food and remained indifferent to the cat’s presence.
