Why Does My Character Smell So Bad?

I couldn't remember why I couldn't use my potions in Monster Hunter, only to realize I was affected by a stench status. It was a funny fails moment, as I tried to figure out how to remove the status while dealing with constant farting icons popping up. This led to a hilarious try not to laugh scenario, as my character was basically a walking fart prank.
