Power BI - Manually typing in a data table

In this segment of the video, I'm going to show you how to manually type into a data table

So guys, once we have created the table, sometimes there is a need to alter the table

In our previous video, we have already seen how to enter data manually using the Enter Data feature

Now how it is different out here? The difference in the previous video and this video is that once we have created the table

we will go ahead and make changes in that feature. particular table so that's what we are going to learn now in order to make

changes in the into the data table what we need to do is we need to go to the

power query editor once we have reached the power query editor we have to go

under the source button and under the source button you will find the way to

edit the table that we have just created so how to enter the data manually in the

data table we are going to see it practically in our practical approach

Hello friends and welcome in this video I'm going to show you how to enter data in the data table that we have already created in Power BI desktop

Alright, so let's get started off now in order to see the data table we simply have to move under the extreme right side of your screen and out there you will be finding the different tables that we have some of them are imported and some emporated

Now out of this car sales and Indian states we have created manually using this

Enter data feature and rest of them have been imported using the access database All right So what will be doing out here the table that we have created we are going to add some more entries to it And how I do that

It's quite simple. You simply have to go under this Edit Query section and click on it

The moment I click on it, this Power Query editor will come into picture and out here you can add or you can delete any data from the data table

So let's go ahead and add some few more states to this Indian state

right out here you can see there a couple of entries we will go ahead and add

some more entries and how I do that it's quite simple you simply have to go

to this applied steps pane and out there you will find the source so if you

want to go to the source you simply have to click on this gearbox the moment

I click on this gearbox and create table module will come into picture and out

here I can simply go ahead and start adding the entries so let's go ahead and

add some more states let's take go on give it some value right with the Pradesh and we will add some values to this as well okay

and let's add one more entry West Bengal and give it some value okay now the

moment you have made the changes you simply have to hit on okay and see what

happens the moment I hit okay these entries are being added up out here so

guys this is very simple if you want to add any kind of data in the data tables

that you have already created you simply have to go to the power query editor and simply click on the
