In this video we are discussing MongoDB administration overview

What are the different responsibilities that will be performed and that will be on the

shoulder of the administrators of MongoDB that will be discussed in this session

So, in this section we will see how the MongoDB administrators do the monitoring on the

MongoDB services and there are several strategies and operational strategies for the monitoring

purposes. So, what are they? So, operational strategies. Here we are mentioning five main

issues. Issue number one is that, that is a backup strategies. We know that to have to

ensure our data from the more and more availability and accessibility, we should take the

backup of our data. So, that is a backup strategies we'll be discussing. Actually, we'll be having

three different backup strategies. One is the MMS, that is the MongoDB

management service. We are having the second one that is a copying files and the last one

that is a Mongo dump. So we'll be discussing all this in our next videos also. Next one is

the monitoring. So this monitoring is required. This monitoring and control will be required

to be done by the administrator on this MongoDB system to enhance the performance of the

system. Next one is the runtime configuration. So this configuration should be provided by the

administrator to the system. Next one is the import and export import and export of the

JSON files or say Besson files from importing and also for the exporting. So, that is, we'll be

discussing here. Next one is the production notes and these production notes will be

required to complete this total servicing of this MongoDB system. So let us go

one by one So MongoDB works on a large set of important data So so MongoDB works on a large set of important data so data should not get lost So the database administrator should backup those data to avoid data losses

Whenever we take the backup of data, obviously, we are going for redundancy, obviously

in that case, but the accessibility and the availability of the data will be more in this case

Next one is the monitoring. So the database administrator should monitor different database and data

store related information to improve the performance and also to reduce the faults

And for this, the constant monitoring and control is required on this MongoDB system

Next one is the runtime configuration. For a huge number of database settings, the administrator should provide configuration details

So, administrator is responsible to provide all this configuration related information and detailing

How the configuration works, that is, an example. the part of the administration. Next one is import and export. The administrator can import or export

JSON data to or from different sources in the correct order. So how this imports and exports

will be done with the help of the JSON data, we are having a separate video where we have shown that

one. And next one is the production notes. There is the MongoDB works on large set of data

the data are replicated. The same data will be found in different nodes will be also calling them as secondary nodes

So the replication of data will be there and replication of data will enhance the probability of more availability of the data

And it uses different shards. And the administrator should take care about the production architecture and notes to control the complete system

So that's why the production nodes will be required. And all these aspects, whatever we have mentioned
