I was homeless, I was hungry, and I was in a refugee camp in a war

I never thought in a million years that I would be here today

And now for the second part. This closet here has got a fingerprint-only access lock because it's got my special toys in here

I was a refugee. I was homeless, I was hungry, and I lived in a freaking refugee camp

And this is just such a dream come true, really. It really is a dream come true

Like I don't even know how I got here. got here. I don't want to sound like, oh my God, oh my God, but like I worked really hard to get here

I had started from a refugee camp when I was younger and we came to America and I lived in

the projects. I lived in the hood. Growing up as a Palestinian refugee was really hard. I'll be

honest with you. I never fit fully in America, in American culture, and I never fit in fully in my

culture. So I was always the outcast and it was always something where, you know, I carried with

me? Was I ever good enough? Was I ever going to be pretty enough? Was I ever going to be someone

who could fit in? My family's situation growing up, we really didn't have much. I'm very grateful

to what my parents were able to give me. I saw the struggle with them and I said, when I get bigger

when I grow up, I'm going to not be like that. I'm going to work hard because I never wanted to

struggle like they did. There was always this deep-rooted fire in my ever since I was younger

to try to like prove myself. And I feel like that was really the key to my success

is that I always put in more effort than the next person because I had to prove myself to be here

I have always known in my life that I was meant for bigger and better. So I've always envisioned myself in couture and designer

I've envisioned myself as a princess my whole life and I've worked so hard to make myself my own princess

It was a little bit tough. I didn't grow up with any money, really

My family was very poor. I have six siblings, but four of them live in the Philippines

That's where my mom is from. My sisters had to work to mostly support my parents

when I was very, very young. My dad has always supported me through everything

and I love these so much. My dad didn't really have a stable job

and wasn't making enough money. My mom was working so much but it wasn enough I feel like I was provided what I needed but not so much what I wanted you know so I lacked materialistic items growing up and kind of now that all that I crave I able to do that now I very blessed

and, like, taking care of yourself, honestly. Around eight months ago, I had the opportunity to do Miss Philippines USA

They reached out to me when they saw my social media platforms and they were like

we really want you to do the pageant this year. I ended up doing really well

I'm Miss Philippines USA, second runner up, Miss Congeniality, best in swimsuit

and Miss MUSA ambassador. So I have four titles and a crown

This is my crown for my Miss Philippines USA. I am really thankful for that opportunity because I would never move to LA if I never did Miss

Philippines USA. I moved to LA in February 2022. When I first started modeling, I was making about

30k a month and that was a pretty big drastic change for me, you know, making $300 bi-weekly

or 30 grand a month is a very big difference. Within the next month that doubled and then it

tripled and now I make a couple million a year at this point

In my apartment, I do have a gym, a pool. There's a whole spa area

There's a sauna. The change is so like crazy to me. It's more of a shock because my whole life

I feel like I struggled so much. Oh my God, why am I gonna cry? I haven't cried in a long time, so it's coming out

Right now, we're gonna go shopping a little bit. There's a few things I have that I would like to buy

and that I need, honestly, right now. Roday's popping today. Not gonna lie, Roday's having a great time

He's looking at me. I am an influencer and that is my main job

That's my brand, I have to stay consistent with that. You have to look the part and if you like it, buy it

You know, that's what I say. I spend a lot of money, it's really bad

On the list, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, everything like that. When I do need to buy something luxurious

I'd rather go to Rodeo than a Louis Vuitton in the mall or something

It's more of an aesthetic, a vibe, adds to the lifestyle, you know

I would say I have a shopping addiction, but after my car, I think that was it for me

What is your car? Oh, I love my life. This is my Mercedes C63 S. It costs $100,000, brand new. I like to go fast. So it has a V8

bi-turbo and 503 horsepower. I do plan on wrapping it red and doing a bunch of other cosmetic stuff

to it that is probably going to cost me like 20K, but it's okay. My car really knocked me out. I was

like wow, I really like her and I'm gonna put my money into her

Seeing how far I've come from when I was living in New York to now living in Los Angeles is really night and day

It feels so good to be able to accomplish the things I have now. We are at my manager's office

I didn't realize I was as strong as I was before. And I'm so glad I was able to overcome the challenges

and obstacles thrown at me my whole life. I don't say it out loud as much as I should

but I'm really proud of myself. I think my upbringing has helped me be able to see the world in different lights and perspectives

I'm very appreciative for everything I have and everything I can provide for my family now

Being able to provide for my parents has been a lifelong dream of mine. So being here now, 19 years old, is amazing
