Today I'm going to be transformed from an androgynous look

I don't really know how it's gonna play out. I was always uncomfortable in women's clothes

I'm muscular. I'm very masculine. Obviously my hair is short, it's not long like the typical standards

It kind of just breaks barriers. So I would describe it as like more masculine

It'd be like boy clothes, I do shop in the boys section, things like that

Today, the look I'm going to be doing for Tay is we are going full glam to really take

advantage of the full transformation because she doesn't usually wear makeup. So we're going to do a smokey eye, kind of a nude lip, a little bit of contour and blush

all that fun stuff. I am a little nervous. This is a lot. It's a lot of stuff. I don't think I've

ever seen this much makeup before. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. I'm a little nervous. All right

transformation today? Are you nervous? Yeah, I'm pretty nervous. I think like this is the most

nervous I've been since choosing to do this because it's actually happening. So I don't know

I grew up in the South Bible Belt area, and that really played into me figuring out who I was in regards to my sexuality

It was really, really difficult to express myself. So I had to wear feminine clothes

I had to wear clothes that made me uncomfortable. I think being treated so like this is wrong because of religion

And because of things like that, I really, really struggled with figuring out my identity and who I was

So, Tay, why did you want to do a transformation into a feminine look

What was the reason? I think it was just as a reminder to people like me and to myself, really, in the queer community

There are no barriers. We don't have to follow a stereotype. Even though I'm a masculine woman, we can still be feminine

We can still embrace our femininity. What does your family think about your androgynous style

I wasn't allowed to be gay. I struggled with, or they struggled with me, my clothes

I would literally dress one way in the house and then I'd go to school and change

And I remember there was one time where I had a rainbow belt and my mom actually threw it away

So it was really like things like that. It was really, I felt like I was doing something wrong

So I just stopped. I just tried to fit in. They were trying to protect me from the world, and they didn't do it in the best way, but they did the best that they could

And because of that, we're good now. They usually start off with the eyes, especially for something really, really glam

What in the world is glam? I have no idea what that even means

You're about to find out. Why did you decide to do a transformation show to show off your more feminine side

I think I wanted to do it to feel comfortable in it

I've worn feminine clothes before, but it was super uncomfortable. It was in a way where, like, I hated who I was, and now that I'm with Zasha, like, she appreciates my femininity, but she's never seen it

When I first started dressing more masculine, I was judged by everybody, left and right

Nowadays, how I get judged is usually from people who are either uneducated or not exposed to women dressing more masculine

When people judge or look a certain way, it's like, I could kind of take a moment

I'm like, aw, they're not surrounded by a diverse crowd where this is normal or not confusing

I don't know. Honestly, I think the best word to describe is humorous. Because whether I like it or not, I still laugh at it

It's just a heavy head coverage foundation. You could use anything really, as long as it's warm tone

My friends said they wanted to get me into those wig and dresses and today I'm going to give them exactly that

So there'll be a real focus on the eyes, outside from the eyes. We're going to do some lashes, we're going to do an amazing liner

a really flawless skin as well and then we're going to have a touch of colour in the lips and the cheeks

Okay, Giselle, are you ready? So it's the Walida Skin Food Light. It is a cult product. It honestly works for so many

skin types. It's amazing at hydrating. You won't need a skin primer underneath because

it just evens out the skin and hydrates amazingly. This is completely out of my comfort zone because the last time I wore a dress seriously

was when I was 13. Okay, so I'm just popping down some eye primer first

So this will give us a base for any shadows that we put down and just helps it last longer

I've always been very into mask clothing. I guess when I was a kid

I was wearing football T-shirts all the time, wearing football boots. I just looked like I was playing football constantly

but as soon as I hit 13, I was very confused about who I wanted to be at that point

because I was very conflicted by society. So I wanted to dress more as a girl, as you could say

But I felt so uncomfortable. I had a very rough time on deciding whether or not

I wanted to let people's opinions ruin me or if I wanted to love myself more

It was just a huge toll on me. But then I realised that the only people that matter to me

and that I need their support is my family and my friends After that it was just I was OK with being me Just putting a bit of shadow in the crease we going for quite a warm colour as well and that just helps to define the eye shape a lot more

So how are you feeling now? Are you a bit nervous? I'm actually a little more relaxed than before

but a little nervous with the results. Do you get judged on the way that you dress or look

I feel like people are sometimes kind of ignorant or close-minded when they see a woman with short hair

because that doesn't make me any less of a woman. It would upset me so much when a woman would stare at me so long

or when I'd enter a bathroom, a woman would look back and just have some kind of judgment look

And I'd just be so confused as to why. The one thing that I always hated the most that someone said to me

was the only reason that I got into an all-boys football team

was because I'm mass-presenting. I just felt like that was lowering the accomplishment that I made

And I just felt so small because of that. My current team, I play American football at my uni

They haven't judged me at all, not one bit. They actually think, like they've made me feel so included

Since cutting my hair short, I felt like I lost my Latina look, and today I want to bring it back

A lot of people have always thought that I was like Middle Eastern, or like anything but my ethnicity

But I'm actually from Ecuador, I actually have the Ecuador tattooed on me

I want to kind of more embrace that with this kind of look. look. Line wise I really love the elf ones, super creamy, glide on really easily, lipsticks

tend to go for Charlotte Tilbury and I think we're gonna go for Glowing Jen in the shade

So we're gonna go in with some blush, I've got Warm Soul by MAC, I think it's really gonna tie in with the lip colour well and helps bring the look all together. So who
